I stood with the others most were amazed by the size of the place as I concentrated on my breathing and thought back to what Present Mic said. "As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this! Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center. You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains."

Oh right, battling... against robots, I wish I had brought my blades with me. But that doesn't mean I'm going to give up. I'll just have to find another way to gain points. I looked at the others who weren't even nervous.

"Hey," I jumped and looked at Cheshire who chuckled at my startled expression. "Don't fret, even if we don't get in the hero course we'll just prove it to them at the sport's festival." I nod with a smile.

"Okay, start!" We all looked up to the tower where Present Mic was. "What's wrong? There are no countdowns in real fights! Run, run! The die has been cast, you know!"

I turn and run, noticing Cheshire close by. Guess the training worked out.

Once inside the city, everyone had already disappeared till I heard a scream. I rushed off in that direction to see a robot cornering a girl who wasn't ready. I pick up a rock and toss it at the robot.

"Hey! Over here!" The robot looked towards me before coming after me.

"Target acquired. I'll kill you!" I whipped around jumping on a building before landing on the robots back and clicking the button.

I rush around and find most robots destroyed noticing people keeping score of their points. Three, I think as I continue to run.

"Six minutes and two seconds left!"

I find people in sticky situations as the robots would surround and overwhelm a person. I'm able to get the robot's attention and the other examinee would be able to either escape, destroy the robots, or I'm able to tap the button of them and earn the points myself.

I find Cheshire in such a situation with 3 three point robots, and find myself rushing forward and pushing him back from a blow as I leap up onto its arms and race up to its head. One of the other attacks, destroying the one I'm on as I land on the one that attacked and push the button deactivating it. I land back on my feet and notice the last robot has changed targets. I glanced at Cheshire to notice he was still there. Then he rushes forwards and taps the button deactivating one of the three point robots.

"You okay?" He rolls his eyes and does a scan of me.

"Have you gotten any points?" I nod my head as we walk together to where everyone was situated surrounded by destroyed robots. "Same."

It was here where we all heard the loud crashing sound. We look through the dust to see the zero point robot. "An obstacle that will go crazy in narrow spaces. I recommend that you listeners try to avoid it."

"Everyone run!" I scream as some take off running after it attacks the ground.

"Less than two minutes left!"

I was about to run when I heard a grunt of pain. I turned to see Cheshire stuck under some rubble as a few others were also scared stiff. I rush back.

"Hey," I snap to get people to move and they run past me as I rush to get to Cheshire.

I arrive at his side and focus on the slab of concrete that had him stuck.

"You idiot, just go!" I shook my head as I was able to lift it for a second and he pulled his leg out.

"Can you still run or even limp?" He nodded as he stood. "Good... run!" He looks at me like I'm crazy so I take his hand and book it away from the robot.

"Times up!" Sirens sounded as the robot came to a stop. I think back to all the training the three of us did and smiled before passing out hearing Cheshire call my name.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A week has passed as I sit in my room at my desk. I was sharpening up my daggers while waiting for my letter.
My dad bursts into my room holding a letter with a red seal on it. My eyes widened as I knew what that was.
"Did you get in?" My father asked after I had taken a hold of the letter and opened it reading it. Tears filled my eyes.
"I got in!" I texted Broccoli and Cheshire that same night informing them that I got in and got an excited text back saying they got in as well. I slept with a smile on my face.
The next morning Chizome was waiting in the living room.
"To celebrate your achievement. You need your signature." He hands me a pen that looks like a scythe. I tilt my head confused. "Click it." I do so and it expands into a full scythe. "Keep it on you at all times, you never know when you'll need it." I rush over to him and hug him.
"Thank you so much sensei." He pats my head.
"Show them what a real hero is." I nod and slip the pen into my pocket before leaving.
