A room of people,
An aroma a food,
A belly rumble,
Lunch.

We talk and laugh,
Over silly things,
You offer a cookie,
I'm too late,

Vultures sweep across the table,
Snag it from your hands,
With a screech of defiance,
A recoiled hand,

Crumbles fall from fingers,
No cookie for me,
You smile and go away,
Off to the line you go,

You return with only two,
None for me again,
Suddenly like the shining sun,
You pull the biggest treat yet,

Is it mine?
Why yes it is,
A trick before food,
How can I repay you?

I'm miles in debt,
But all I do is poetry,
I try my best here,
Please accept this payment,

The cookie is massive,
Perhaps the size of my head,
It is all mine,
And the sun rises,

I must accept anymore,
How do I repay?
I really don't know,
But here I offer,

My poetry to you.

So my friend got me massive cookie and I have no idea how to repay her cause she won't accept my paper cranes do her it is!
