Indeed, the next thing she knew, Rein was gone from her sight. She didn't know whether damning her for it would be worth her time. So she selected one of the empty circular tables for herself after grabbing a few pastries. She'd devour the meat later.

She watched the guests' movement around her like a hawk as she ate. At least she'd get an impression from them and get to know the environment better. She was glad the general age group was young, slightly older than hers, since Rein was older than her, including her friends.

She knew she wouldn't be able to deal with older men and women roaming around the room, knowing manners were to be considered. Not that she didn't have any, she just wanted to be as carefree as she wished to be.

Finishing off her last cream pastry, she caught someone's attention on her. A kind of attention she never got before.
