"Have a good night Tiny Dog! See ya tomorrow!" Snowball called as he hopped backwards towards the windowsill, all the while pointing finger guns at the Jack Russell terrier. Frowning, Max responded, "Feel free to stay home." Laughing, Snowball waved his paw in dismissal as he exclaimed, "Tiny Dog, you are a funny canine." The small dog muttered something under his breath but the rabbit didn't pick up on it as he headed down.

Making it down the fire escape to the apartment below, Snowball jumped up onto the windowsill and peered inside. Good, his owners weren't back yet. Entering his apartment, he went into the fridge and grabbed a pawful of baby carrot sticks. Eating them one by one on his way back to Molly's bedroom, it wasn't long until snack time was over. Clambering up onto the bed with a grunt, Snowball rolled over onto his back and stared at the ceiling, lost in his thoughts.

I wonder what the new neighbor is gonna be like, Snowball wondered, his thoughts drifting towards the mysterious newcomer coming to the apartment building. He had a gut feeling they were a dog, dogs were a pretty popular pet. So were cats so there was the possibility the newcomer could be a feline companion. But it would be very cool if they were a rabbit too. Snowball had never really seen many other rabbits, especially in a place like New York City.

"Hm, I bet they'll need a guide. Manhattan is a crazy place for us animals," Snowball remarked, sitting up. New York City was indeed not a kind place to any newcomer, animal or human. The new neighbor might feel overwhelmed. Hitting his palm with his fist, Snowball announced loudly, "When our new neighbor arrives, I'm gonna give him or her a proper welcoming party! And then a tour!"

"Snowball, shut up for once!" Max's bark sounded from upstairs. This was followed by Duke adding, "Man, he's louder than Leonard sometimes."

"I'm home Snowball!" Molly cried ecstatically, entering the room. She scooped up the white bunny rabbit and gave him a great big hug. Curled up in her arms, Snowball smiled softly and sighed in happiness. His brain, meanwhile, was busy formulating the perfect welcoming party for the new neighbor.
