End of Phone call...

It been only a year since I started dating again after my previous girlfriend broke up with me to date my ex best friend. After that break up, I had a hard time finding anyone so I decided to take a year off from dating to focus on my career as a manga writer.

However, after coming back to the dating game... it was still the same like before. Only difference was that I managed to find someone but... that only lasted about a month. I received a phone call this morning from her saying she wanted to break up because she doesn't believe this relationship is working for some unknown reason.

I didn't understand at first for a moment until I realized it probably either my career as a manga writer or my appearance. Either way this was my second time being dumped by a woman because of a stupid reason along with the many rejections I had in the past.

Y/n: Goddamn it...!

I said throwing my phone to the ground in frustration.

Y/n: Why is this happening to me?

So, wanting to move on with my day I decided to forget the whole thing and just get ready for work. Taking a cold shower and eating breakfast, I left for work as I start thinking what to do with my life.

Later....

Y/n: Ugh! This sucks....

I'm in my office but I am having trouble focusing on my work because I don't know what to write especially what happened this morning still bothering me. Why of all times did she decide to break up with me at this very moment of my work.

Y/n: If I don't finish before the deadline, I'm going to be in big trouble.

I heard knocking coming door so I let them in.

Y/n: Come in!

The person who stepped inside the office was my secretary, Alexa.

Alexa: Hi, Mr. L/n!

Y/n: Hey, Alexa! What is it that you need?

Alexa: I received a call from the publisher company, C.E.O. asking about when the manga will be ready.

Y/n: Oh... I still have some parts that need to be revised but I'm stuck right now. I'll do my best to get it done before the end of the week.

Alexa: Alright, I'll let the C.E.O. know to expect the manga by this weekend then.

Alexa then leaves my office as I when back on contemplating on how I can revise some of these chapters before turning it in.

Y/n: Ugh... I'm going to be here all week at least I don't need to worry about being alone.

Just as I said that Alexa came back into my office.

Y/n: Did you forget something, Alexa?

Alexa: Yes, I just wanted to let you know that I'm taking this week off to go on a trip with my girlfriend. I already submitted the paperwork to Human Resources and I wanted to let you know just incase if they forget.

Y/n: Oh, ok! Thanks for letting me know and have fun on your trip with your partner.

Alexa: Thank you, sir! And take care of yourself, I'll see you next week.

Alexa then left my office once more and like that I'm all alone again.

Y/n: Just great... *sigh* Better get back to work before the deadline.

So, I went back to revising the story of the manga while trying to figure out what to change from the storyline.

3rd P.O.V.

1 week later....

After spending the whole week revising the manga before the deadline, Y/n manage to turn in the book to the publishing company. However, since he stayed up most of the nights revising the manga for any small mistake and limited times. Y/n barely has any strength left to even drive home so he decided to stay the night in the office again until he regain his strength.

At Night...

Y/n: What a week! Finally turn in my work... I can finally rest!

As he was celebrating to himself, Y/n realized he is still alone.

Y/n: And I'm talking to myself again...

Lying on the couch, Y/n can only think about what he's going to do with his life. Knowing he is single again after his break up and he has no one left to be with.

Y/n: Sometimes I wish someone would love me for who I am and not break up with me the second they change their mind.

Y/n then look at the anime poster, DVD, and figures in his office.

Y/n: I wish I was married to my childhood crushes like Helen from Incredible or Trudy from Proud Family. Or even better Lana from the Archer series, I would have killed someone to be with her. But it was just a wishful thinking I suppose...

Calling it a night, Y/n drifted off to sleep as a shooting star flew past his office.

The next morning...

???: Hey, sweetie is time to wake up~

Y/n: *groan* Five more minutes...

???: I believe you stayed long enough in your office, Y/n. We got to go, everyone is waiting for you at home~

Y/n: Everyone...?

Getting up from the couch, Y/n rub his eyes to wake up. He was in for a surprise to see who is front of him.

Y/n: H-Helen?!

Helen: Yeah...? What's wrong? Is like you seen a ghost or something.

Y/n: B-But how?

Helen: How... what? Is it wrong for a wife to be concerned about her husband wellbeing.

Y/n: Husband?! Who?

Helen: *giggle* You silly! Did spending a whole week in this cramped office cause you to forget you're married.

Y/n: Married?!

Y/n look at his hand noticing a ring then look at his desk seeing a picture frame of him with 9 women surrounding behind him.

Y/n: H-How is this possible?

Helen: Come on, Y/n! You stayed long enough, the lack of sleep and proper meal, it causing you to be delirious and forgetful. I'll be waiting for you by the car in the garage.

Helen gave Y/n a quick kiss on the lips before leaving the office. He was still in a state of shock unable to believe what he's seeing.

Y/n: What the hell...?
