Aurora stepped out of the elevator, listening to the half door closing. Something crashed upstairs, followed by another growl. Suddenly, the floor shook. Just get in the goddamn elevator! Aurora told herself. But she couldn't make herself move. It wasn't long before a large yellow snout with two fangs poked from upstairs. "Ssssssomethingsssss here....." the thing hissed, it's nostrils sniffing. Aurora stepped back. The entire head of the beast appeared. It had three yellow horns, bright red eyes, and a large scar in it's left one. Oh my god... Aurora gasped, It's Al!

The beast saw Aurora and let out a roar, which sounded like a distorted pained scream. Aurora screamed back, running into the elevator and slamming her hand on the button Sans had pressed before. The beast roared, trying to claw it's way into the elevator. Aurora pressed herself against the elevator floor, trying not to scream or cry or both at the same time. The beast let out another scream-roar before thudding away. Finally, the elevator slowed to a stop. Aurora kicked off the last half of the door, angry at everything.

There was some sort of whisper-echo, "Aurora... Is that you?" It was Papyrus! Aurora ran in, "Yes! Where are you!?" Sora ran towards Aurora, her eyes wide. It wasn't long before Aurora noticed the large scar on the dragon's side. "Sora and Papyrus hurt! Aurora follow Sora!" Aurora nodded, following the rushing dragon through the lab. There was the beds. Papyrus was lying in one, clenching his teeth and sweat trickling down his skull. "Oh, Papyrus..." Aurora whispered, running towards the skeleton.

Papyrus let out a pained yelp, his eye sockets now wide. He looked at Aurora, "O-Oh... Greetings, A-Aurora... I... Ngh... I'm p-busy a-at the t-time..." Another pained grunt, and Papyrus turned over. Aurora sighed and looked at Sora, "Where's Sans?" Sora pointed to a shut door, where a bed was turned over and blocking it. Aurora moved the bed and opened the door. "Who's there!? G-Get out!" was the reply to the opening door.

"I-It's me, Aurora," Aurora replied, walking in and closing the door behind her. Sans groaned, burying his face in his hands. Aurora sat in the chair in front of Sans' desk. "What happened with Undyne and Al?" she asked, clearing the paperwork off the desk. Sans grumbled something, removing his hands from in front of his skull. "I don't know... Undyne was screaming and begging for water. Then she ran off to Waterfall. Al was screaming, too. She ran upstairs and we heard crashing. When I checked, all the lights were off. The elevator was broken open, and the screen was broken and off the wall. I knew what happened, so I came back down here."

They were silent for a moment until Aurora realized something. She stood up, glaring at Sans. "How did you know he was there with me?" she asked, throwing a paw on the desk. Sans yelped, his eye sockets wide and blank. Then he looked at her with a puzzled look, "What do ya mean?" Aurora groaned, banging both palms on the desk, "You know what I fucking mean, Sans! How did you know the other 'Sans' was there with me in your house?" Sans grinned, closing his eyes, "Kiddo, you learn a lot during these times. I don't think ya would be busy with anything. Plus, Sora told me about the 'Sans' and the shadow."

Suddenly, a loud scream filled the Lab. Sans jumped up and ran out the room. Aurora followed. Sora looked scared, "Sora not know what happen! Sora watch Papyrus and he scream!" She mimicked a scream just to show them. Sans ran to Papyrus, who was hiding under the covers. Orange flames flickered from underneath. "No no no no..." Sans repeated to himself, ripping the covers off. Papyrus screamed as he was exposed to the dim light.

Aurora noticed Papyrus' fingertips. Claws, she realized. Papyrus reached for Sans, shaking rapidly. Sans held onto his brother, "C'mon Paps.... We can f-find something..." The room filled with the sound of snapping bones. Papyrus let out a muffled scream, his claws digging into Sans' jacket. "Sans! Let go!" Aurora yelled, pulling Sans away. This caused Papyrus to leave claw-marks on Sans' jacket sleeve. As Aurora got up, she noticed Papyrus' teeth had grown sharper. Sora was backed up against the wall.

Papyrus' spine began to shift and change, revealing spikes along the vertebrae. Papyrus let out a cry of pain, and fell from the bed. Aurora and Sans ran towards him, shocked at how big Papyrus was now. Aurora and Sans both picked him up, trying to help him into a better place. Papyrus left claw-marks in Aurora's sweater and more in Sans' jacket. Before they put him down, Papyrus' legs began to change as well. They became into a more digitigrade structure in appearance. The tips of his toes became more claw-like as well, his red boots destroyed. Papyrus managed to throw Sans away, which made Aurora drop him and run towards the smaller skeleton.

A distorted scream escaped Papyrus as horns began to grow on his skull. A large skeletal tail had formed from the lower portion of his spine, easily brushing away any beds that were close to it. A muzzle formed on Papyrus, and he opened his eyes. Sans stepped closer, "Sans... No, it's not like any other time. It's different..." Aurora whispered, not wanting to let go of Sans' jacket sleeve. The small skeleton glared at her, "Let me go, Aurora... He's in there." Aurora let go of Sans' jacket, but was shaking her head no. Sora was holding onto Aurora's pant leg.

"Papyrus okay?" Sora asked the wolf. Aurora shook her head no. Sans was closer to Papyrus, a hand held out. The skeleton beast's eye sockets were blank for a second, then orange eyes formed in them. When the beast saw Sans, it let out a roar. Sans didn't have time to pull away. The monster lunged forward, it's jaw open. Aurora covered Sora's eyes in time. Papyrus had bitten off Sans' hand.

"Sans!" Aurora yelled, pulling the smaller skeleton away. "What the fuck did I tell you, Sans!? I told you not to-" Aurora was interrupted by Papyrus' roar as it swiped all the beds away with it's tail. Aurora grabbed Sans, placing him on his back. "Follow me, Sora." The dragon nodded, dodging a skeletal claw. Aurora managed to get around Papyrus to the exit, Sora besides her. The beast roared, breaking the door down and open. Once realizing it couldn't get through, it went to work breaking a large hole in the wall. "The elevator!" Aurora screamed, now picking up Sora and running into the elevator. Then she remembered, Oh, fuck! Al is still up there. But she pressed the button that lead to the top Lab.

The skeleton beast roared as it saw the three monsters disappear. The thudding downstairs faded away and a strange noise from upstairs came in. It was the same sound of wind during hard storms. But this wind was even. She's sleeping... That's good, Aurora thought. Then she looked at Sora. "You must be quiet," she whispered, "The monster up here is asleep." When the elevator got up, the lights inside it turned off. So did the buttons. It had broken down. Aurora stepped out of the elevator, noticing a large hole in the wall. The Alphys-Beast had broken out of the Lab and was now sleeping outside.

The two females exited the side with the remaining door. Luckily, it was the one which lead to the boat. "You ready?" Aurora asked Sora, now on the boat. Sora smiled, "Sora is ready for anything!" Aurora grinned, "That's good."
