Persephone

We were called downstairs for something urgent. I wonder what it is... And probably something bad...

I saw the rest of the team stand as well.

"What is the commotion?" I asked as I hurriedly stopped, tripping over in the process.

"Nothing special," Lion said sarcastically. "Just some Projects with blue eyes wanting to kill us. That's all."

Oh boy...

"We wake up literally at 6 am and all we face are Projects that are thirsty for blood? What a very great start..." Ray added.

Then we heard zaps of electricity as Projects entered our zone.

"Okay well, they never stop, so we have to force them," Athaliah told us, which I understand...

"What she said," I added while pointing up.

"Why are you pointing up?" Ray asked.

"I was referring to her quote above..." I answered, although they probably didn't know what I was talking about.

"Whatever. The problem is-- AHH!"

Nev shrieked as Projects surrounded us. We saw a pharoah-looking thing, someone invisible (I could see him because I saw a floating weapon that's probably carried by someone invisible), and tons more.

I sighed. "One heckuva fight today..."

I tightened my grip on my ice katana as I swiped a Project with a formal getup, a black robe, and his skin is really pale, as if he was a vampire.

However, the strange thing is that he has glowing blue eyes, with electric sparks coming out of it.

I kept wondering what's with the glowing blue eyes...

He managed to block my swings as I tried to kick him by the side, but he ran really swiftly and I sensed him from behind.

Then he kicked me from behind, causing me to get knocked off-balance as I fell down the floor.

He then pressed his foot against my back. I got free and rolled my body sidewards as I quickly stood up.

Oh boy... This is going to be a lot of fun...

I sighed. We have to get out of here ASAP.

I focused back to fighting and fought him, swiping side to side as he blocked them all within the blink of an eye.

I then realized something.

This guy moves in certain patterns... I observed him...

Left... Right... Left... Right...

I then knew what to do.

Within one swift motion, I stabbed my katana using a very unexpected move as I caught the vampire, stabbed using the katana.

The vampire's eyes faded as lighting sparked one last time.

Narrator

Nev flew outside as she fought a baby purple dragon. The baby dragon spat a fireball as Nev dodged it.

Nev narrowed her eyes against the dragon and shot her purple shards.

But the dragon didn't seem to get hurt as it spat an iceball. Nev barely dodged on time as the iceball hit a building, its windows shattering.

Athaliah was fighting mid-air nearby. However, she was not in her phoenix mode as she fought with her bow.

She shot an arrow against a shadow-looking Project with blue eyes. However, the shadow kept knocking Athaliah upwards.

"Darn it..." Athaliah groaned as she kept flying upwards. She shot another arrow against the shadow, but the arrow just went through it.

The shadow then rushed against Athaliah then it pushed her towards a building.

Athaliah then broke through a window and landed on the floor, groaning in pain as she tried to stand up.

However, the shadow lurked in the window, then rushed to Athaliah.

The shadow then kicked Athaliah.

Athaliah muttered, "How the Nether am I supposed to defeat this thing?!"

Ray fought hand-to-hand with a werewolf. The werewolf was wild and uncontrollable as it pushed off a table with one motion.

Ray grabbed his raygun and shot radiation at the werewolf, only to grow stronger.

"What the Nether..." He muttered as he got smacked by the werewolf.

Ray bursted out of the paper wall (Japanese walls in houses are made of paper), and landed on the raked sand.

He felt sorry to the landscaper who done that as he stood up while trampling the raked sand.

The werewolf bursted out of the wall a second later and Ray tried to shoot it again, but the werewolf became stronger as it got more buff than it was.

Ray then got knocked again as he landed on the branch of a cherry tree. The branch fell due to weight, carrying Ray along with it as they landed on the grass.

"Ouch..." Ray groaned as he heard the sounds of a werewolf roaring.

Ray then stopped. "Sounds..." he said.

He then thought, If radiation makes the werewolf stronger by mutating its cells using radiation, then... I could probably kill it with sound waves!

He configured his raygun for a little bit.

He waited for the werewolf to charge at him.

Ray braced himself as he covered his ears.

Right at the last second, he pulled the trigger, emitting a very loud and deafening sound that disoriented the werewolf.

Ray grabbed a sharp twig, which was luckily right there, and stabbed the werewolf with the twig.

Ray teleported back to Wei's damaged house. He saw Lion, Storm, Milarite, Wei, and Jay just finished defeating their opponents.

"You guys fine?" He asked. Everyone nodded. Ray then noticed that something was missing... or someone...

Ray gasped, "Oh no..."

* * * * *

Nev tried to stand up on the heliport, but the dragon just kept coming back at her.

The dragon flew and breathed an iceball towards her. Nev barely managed to roll out of the way.

"How am I supposed to defeat this thing..." Nev complained as she looked around for something useful.

All she saw were billboards with torn up ads and buildings.

She then thought of an idea.

She stood up then levitated towards the dragon. The dragon spat a lightning ball, but it only hit a building.

Nev flew in circles, with the dragon in pursuit, occasionally spitting fireballs, waterball, lightning balls, iceballs, and earthballs.

One fireball managed to hit a billboard, which threatened to crash on Nev.

"Yes! Perfect!" Nev exclaimed as she stopped right in front of the billboard.

The dragon came, but then, the billboard crashed on it. The dragon fell, trapped by the billboard that crashed into it.

Nev grabbed a sharp, metal pole and flew over to the trapped dragon, struggling to escape. Nev was surprised that it can't carry metal.

She flew over to the dragon, then stabbed it on its scales. The dragon gave a dying scream before it kept silent.

Nev flew back to the group. She noticed that they were looking around frantically.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Nev! Did you see Persephone somewhere?" Ray called in.

"I didn't see her anywhere. Where is she?"

"Well, she's gone missing," Storm replied.

"Seriously?" Nev asked again.

"Then explain why we were looking frantically," Lion dared.

"Because you miss me," Nev smirked as the group exclaimed, "OOOHH!"

Lion sighed. "Seriously. Persephone's missing."

"I swear! I didn't see her anywhere!" I screamed.

"Then where could she be?" Ray asked, sounding concerned as he could be.

"That's a question to be answered, everyone..." Wei jumped in.

Nev noticed another thing...

"Guys..." She called everyone.

"Yes?" They all asked except Milarite, whose eyes were literally moving around everywhere while being nervous.

"Now that you mentioned it, I also didn't see Athaliah's soul somewhere..."

They gasped, "She's a strong person! She could've been back by now!"

Nev added, "And I see no signs of fighting between herself and some other guy."

"Strange..." Ray commented.

"Welp. Two birds have gone missing. Gg!" Lion said sarcastically.

And the whole team couldn't agree more.

Athaliah was lying down on the floor, beaten up.

"Why don't you kill me already?" She challenged.

"Because, I can't..." The shadow said as it appeared.

"Why?" Athaliah asked.

"Because we need you for another purpose..." The shadow replied as it covered Athaliah's eyesight with a cloth.

I managed to write this in the middle of the night, ending this chapter at 2 am.

So, no fun facts for today.
