A woman, mysterious to all, stood in the middle of the road. A road barely used that passed through the woods and into a town. It was almost midnight. But she was not there by accident; she had intended to be here at this time of night.

A person, rather a girl, stepped silently from the woods a mere ten feet away from her.

"Hello there. Would you like to come to my party? I am... looking for then perfect set of guests to come." The woman asks in a mysterious tone, her face hidden in the shadow of her hood. The stranger, masked by the shadows of the trees, stopped, and turned slightly when hearing the mysterious womans voice.

"Perhaps." She says, unmoving, her eyes to the ground.

The mysterious woman smiles slightly, taking a blood red card from her coat pocket.

"Great. Here is an invitation that will grant you access. I know you especially will love this card." She holds the card out to the stranger.

The stranger smiles slightly, but without showing any teeth. Taking a few slow steps forward, she takes the card. Moonlight slightly illuminates her eyes for a moment, showing interest but danger, then disspears as she moves back.

The woman smiles, flashing off a set of perfect pearly whites.

"We will we expecting you then." She says.

The stranger nods, turns around and walks down the road.

The woman watched the stranger go with a smirk.

Again, the woman stands in a spot where she had intended to be. Right next to the porch of a house. A boy had just came up, and stood staring at a brightly lit jack-o-lantern decoration.

"Hello human," she says, her head tilted down. "Would you like to attend a Halloween party?"

"Oh sure," the boy replied, his gaze still fixed on the decoration. "I love parties."

"Good. You will definitely enjoy this one." The woman pulls a normal spooky invitation out of her pocket. The boy took it.

"Thank you," he said, glancing at the paper, then at the decoration. Then he looked back up at the woman. "I have a question for you." He said, stuffing the card in his pocket.

"What might that be, inquisitive one?" She acknowledged.

"What do you think of that decoration over there?" He asks, pointing his finger at the pumpkin decoration that sat on the porch.

The woman glances over at it. "It's not bad. What do you think of it?"

"It's alright." The boy said. Then he walked up to the porch and grabbed the pumpkin. He turned to the woman.

"You didn't see anything." He said, walking away.

The woman sighed. "I always meet such weird humans." She said softly. "Just as long as he participates."

The mysterious woman walks up to a woman in the field. The woman was crouched down, doing something by a plant, then when noticing the mysterious woman, hides her hands, and stands up with a whirl of her cape.

"Hello miss." The mysterious woman said. "Would you like to come to a Halloween party?"

The woman cocked her head slightly, the hood of her cape moving to let light in, showing the skepticism in her eyes. She looked at the mysterious woman, but her face was fully hidden with a hood.

The mysterious woman pulled out in invitation which had a golden broomstick engraved on it. The caped woman smiled wickedly, taking the invitation.

"I would love to." She said.

"Excellent." The mysterious woman said.

The caped woman flashed the mysterious woman a smile, then jumping into the air, dissapeared with a whoosh.

This time, the mysterious woman stood in the street of the nearby town. A young man was walking by.

"Hi." He said to the mysterious woman politely.

"Hello. Would you like to come to a Halloween party?" She asked.

"Oh- what now?" The young man asked, taken aback, stopping.

The mysterious woman gave no reply, just handed him a normal invitation. Taking it, he glanced at it.

"I might," he said.

The mysterious woman bobbed her head. "Be careful human. There will be things you won't expect."

The young man gave her a queer look as she began to walk away. The young man looked back down at the card, thinking about what she said.

"Hey!" He said, looking back up. But the woman was gone. There was no trace of her on the street. "Huh." He said to himself.

This time, the mysterious woman was walking down a side street, when she was surprised to feel a finger tap her on the shoulder. Turning around, there stood the man she was walking to find. Strange, but convenient.

"You lost miss?" He asked politely.

"No. Just looking for someone." The woman said.

"Ok," the man said, smiling. "Good day then." With a nod, he started walking away.

"Wait." The woman said. The man stopped, and turned back around.

"Yea?" He adjusted his hat, a white cap, with gold accents. An anchor and an eagle with its wings spread above was pinned on the hat.

"Would you like to attend a Halloween party?"

"I would love to." He said smiling, a mix of slight confusion and surprise on his face.

The woman smiled, pulling out an invitation with beautiful engravings of the sea on it. She held it out, and the man took it graciously. He smiled, letting out a small chuckle when he looked at it.

"Hope to see you there." The mysterious woman said, slowly walking away.

"I will see you there mystical one," the man said with a wave of his hand.
