Just as Nooroo believes she is safe in the arms of her new owner, she tells him about what the moth broach does. "So you're saying I can give anyone their own superpowers?" the mysterious man asked. Nooroo tells her new owner, "Yes. Originally, the moth broach was used to create superheroes, but then an evil man in Paris, named Hawkmoth, controlled me and the powers of the moth broach for evil. He was using it because he wanted to achieve the ladybug and cat Miraculouses."

"And for what purpose was he trying to achieve them for?" the man asked, putting on the moth broach. Nooroo says, "The ladybug and cat Miraculouses are the two strongest Miraculouses ever, and when used together, grant ultimate power. Hawkmoth in Paris tried to use that ultimate power to rule the world." The man says, "Maybe I can do better now that you told me."

"M- master, what are you saying?" a scared Nooroo asks as she trembles in fear. "You are to help me achieve the two strongest Miraculouses so I can have that ultimate power, do you understand Nooroo?!" he asked. Nooroo says, "Yes Master," and goes into the broach. "I shall become the new Hawkmoth and create villains in Seoul to achieve the ultimate power!" Hawkmoth says while evilly laughing.

(Fu Tea House)

In a Chinese tea house in Seoul, Fu Ho-ming was preparing an herbal tea and some sweet Chinese cakes for his customers in his private kitchen when his Kwami, Wayzz flies towards him and says, "Ho-ming! Ho-ming! We have a problem?" "Shh!" Ho-ming says to Wayzz, "Keep quiet Wayzz or else you'll be exposed."

"The same problem that happened in Paris when your grandfather had me before he died happened again," Wayzz says, "the person you trusted Nooroo and the moth Miraculous with is using her for evil, becoming Hawkmoth. Like the previous one, this Hawkmoth wants to achieve the ultimate power."

"This isn't good," Ho-ming says, heading to his private filing cabinet to get the ladybug and cat Miraculouses. He then says, "Marinette and Adrien told me to entrust these with the right people. I have to tell them who for sure will become the new ladybug after I test her."

Mia was in the recording studio working on a new song with three girls in her group, known as Cupid. She was the leader/lead singer of the group. After they were done, Mia gets some water and says, "I sounded horrible! What if I never get this right?!" "Relax Mia, you did great!" says Hyunmi, Mia's best friend, "besides, you're just stressed because we're going to have our comeback since last year."

"That's probably what it is," Mia says. Xin Mei, another Chinese member of the group, and their main rapper, says, "Or maybe because you want to impress Chanyeol." "Be quiet Xin Mei! I don't want him knowing that just yet!" Mia says. Jimin says, "He's bound to find out soon, after all, you and him have been friends since acting school."

"I'm not sure if he likes me like that though," I say. Soon, Mia leaves with Hyunmi to go to her parents' pastry shop for a visit. Just then, with Marinette on the other end of the line, Ho-ming sees Mia. He knows Marinette and Adrien very well, and that Mia is Marinette's distant cousin, since Wang Cheng, Marinette's great uncle, is Mia's great-grandfather.

"Do you see Mia anywhere, Ho-ming?" Marinette asks Ho-ming. He says, "Yes, and she also happens to be with one of her group members." Marinette says, "Perfect. Tell me if she's worthy of being my replacement as Ladybug over there in Seoul when you're done." "Okay," Ho-ming says, hanging up. He was walking in the street when he falls down while trying to cross the street.

"And then," Mia says to Hyunmi, but stops when she sees Ho-ming. She runs over there and pushes him on the other side of the street before a car could hit them. Hyunmi says, "Mia! Are you okay?"

"Yes," she says, "I just had to save this poor elder from getting hit." Ho-ming tells Mia, "Thank you dear. As a token of my appreciation, allow me to give you a free cup of tea when you come to my tea shop." "Thank you sir," Mia says, pulling out her lunchbox with some fresh, leftover pastry and says, "My mother made them this morning. Me and the girls in my band were too stuffed to eat the rest, so these are yours."

Ho-ming grabs the last two and eats one, saying, "Thank you kind girl. I recognize the taste, your mother makes amazing pastries." "Come by any time then, and I can buy you a pastry," Mia says before bowing and leaving. He calls Marinette back and says, "Marinette, she did fine. I think she's the perfect candidate for being the new Ladybug." "Oh that's amazing Ho-ming!" says Marinette.

Ho-ming then realizes he left his cane in the middle of the road. Chanyeol was walking by with his earbuds in after he is done with practice. Just as he was crossing the street, he saw a cane. "How did that get there?" Chanyeol asked, picking up the cane. He sees Ho-ming crying for help.

He runs to Ho-ming, saying, "Here's your cane sir. Do you need any help getting home?" "Yes kind gentleman," Ho-ming says, taking his cane.

After directing Chanyeol to his tea house, Ho-ming invites him in and makes some tea for him. Chanyeol says, "This tea is delicious. How much does it cost?" "Nothing," says Ho-ming, "it's a token of my appreciation for saving my life." He also give Chanyeol an extra pastry and says, "A young girl named Mia who also saved me gave me this pastry. You can have it. It's fresh."

Chanyeol eats the pastry and says, "So good." Ho-ming says, "I have one more present for you," and give him a box, saying, "My grandfather told me, before passing away, that he wants me to trust this ring with someone who can take good care of it. This ring also happens to bring good luck."

"Do I have to pay for it, I don't just want to take it," says Chanyeol. Ho-ming says, "No. No. It's free. The only price you have to pay is making sure that ring is well taken care of." Nodding, Chanyeol bids Ho-ming farewell.

Chanyeol then says to himself, "A ring that brings good luck?" Just then, Mia arrives at her parents pastry shop with Hyunmi. "Oh Mia, Hyunmi, you're here!" Yuan Bao, Mia's mother, says. Mia says, "Hey Eomma. Thank you for making me those delicious cream filled pastries this morning."

Yuan Bao says, "Anything for my baby princess." "Eomma!" Mia says. Hyunmi says, "Next week, Cupid is going to comeback with our new single 'I Spy.'" "That's wonderful," says Yuan Bao, "I can't wait to tell Junghan about this when he gets back from Paris! Oh, speaking of Paris, Mia. Your cousin Marinette wants you to FaceTime her at home."

"Okay Eomma," Mia says. Hyunmi says, "Are you talking about French-Chinese fashion designer, Marinette Agreste? I had no idea she's your cousin!" "Distant cousin actually," Yuan Bao explains, "my grandfather is actually Marinette's great uncle." "Oh," Hyunmi says. Mia says, "I'll head on home to talk to Cousin Marinette then."

Once she does arrive, Mia sees a box with a note on it on her door step. "Is it a gift from a fan?" Mia asks, "Maybe Cousin Marinette sent a gift. I'll know once I'm inside." She soon enters the home with the box. The items in the boxes Chanyeol and Mia received are going to change their lives forever.
