Mia and Hyunmi were with Yoora because she was trying to gather information about a historical story on Ladybug at the Seoul National University Heritage Department for a news story. "I can't believe we're going to learn more about Ladybug!" Hyunmi says quietly.

Yoora says, "We'll know a lot more than there is to the eye about our heroine. I can't wait to collaborate with a historian about Ladybug for my news story. Maybe they'll know something about the story on the walls of the cave I saw about her."

"Yeah," Mia says. "Maybe I could even find out who Ladybug really is under that mask," Hyunmi says. Yoora say, "That will be a major scoop to hit up on." "Good luck with that," Mia says, walking to buy herself, Hyunmi, and Yoora some drinks.

Tiki pops out to see Mia, who says, "Tiki hide. Yoora and Hyunmi can't see you at all." "Don't worry," Tiki says, "but I'm curious, what made Yoora all of a sudden want to do a history story over Ladybug?"

"Her boss asked her to find another Ladybug story for the news since I became Ladybug," Mia says, "and also, she said that she found the painting in the cave and discovered something about Ladybug in ancient Korea."

"Mia! We're heading to the museum with Young-sik!" Yoora said. "Tiki hide," Mia whispers. Once Tiki hides, Mia says, "Yeah I'm coming! I just needed to buy us drinks." The three women left with the historian to uncover facts at the museum to get information on Yoora's story.

Meanwhile, Chanyeol is at home on his computer trying to uncover some facts for his sister. He even looked on her news blog to get some details too. Plagg flies towards him with some Camembert.

He then asks Chanyeol, "Are you seriously still trying to get information on that Ladybug story your sister told you?" "Yes Plagg," Chanyeol said, "she said that she needed help so her boss will allow her to broadcast it for the news. If only I can tell her my feelings."

"Why fall in love with two girls, the other girl you don't know, when you can have Camembert?" Plagg asked. Chanyeol says, "Women don't stink like your smelly Camembert for one.

"And two, maybe her and Mia have some kind of connection. She looks very similar to the Ladybug in ancient China, and the Korean Ladybug. They could be Mia's ancestors since Mia is half Korean and half Chinese." "Please Chanyeol," Plagg says.

At the museum, the historian, Lee Young-sik, was telling Yoora about part of the story she discovered, which is replicated on a stone wall in the museum. He starts explaining the attempted human sacrifices ancient Korean royalty tried to commit with a college student majoring in history.

"So, this Wang EunJeo person, tell me more about him," Yoora says, writing down information onto her cellphone. Before Young-sik can explain, the student, Jaewon, says, "As you know, before we began to adjust to other religions, ancient Korean particularly focused on Buddhism, believing that there were gods who can marry their deceased sons and daughters who died single by accepting human sacrifices.

"Wang EunJeo in particular valued his youngest son Prince EunHae, who died of a mysterious disease at 20 years old. He wanted to give his son a present for what would of been his 21st birthday. A wife. So he decided to try and sacrifice a local horse keeper so his son can wed her in the afterlife. But he got stopped by an ancient goddess, as seen by the locals, in this ritual."

"I see," Yoora says, "mind if we take a break so I can evaluate this information before I get more?" "Not at all," Young-sik said. Once Yoora, Hyunmi, and Mia walked off, Jaewon notices the date and sees EunJeo's scepter. He says, "Today would've been EunHae's birthday. I must honor him."

He tries to take the scepter, but gets stopped by Young-sik, who says, "Jaewon, that is not a toy. We'll get kicked out if you mess with that." "But Professor Lee, today is the prince's birthday. We must honor him by reciting the ritual that Ladybug prevented Wang EunJeo from doing thousands of years back," said Jaewon.

Young-sik said, "Jaewon. You know that was all in the past. You need to get your head out of the clouds and see the real world. This is modern day South Korea, and you better start living it." Once Young-sik walks away, Jaewon is upset as he looked at his ancient Korean pendant in his necklace, taking a seat outside the museum on the steps.

Hawkmoth observes and says, "Such sadness not being able to honor the prince for his birthday. I shall help him give the prince an unforgettable present then," and charges a butterfly with dark magic, "Go on my akuma, and evilize him!" The akuma flies to the museum to get Jaewon.

It touches his pendant as Hawkmoth says, "Wang EunJeo, I am Hawkmoth. No one will stop you from giving your son the present he deserved for thousands of years. In return for the powers I grant you, you should bring me Ladybug and Black Cat's Miraculouses." "My son EunHae will gets his well deserved birthday present!" Jaewon says, evilizing into Wang EunJeo.

Yoora looks at the painting some more as she looks at the information she wrote on her phone. "Wow," Hyunmi says, "I've never been so excited to learn history like this before. Especially since I'm learning about the history of Ladybug!"

"You'll learn more once I interview Young-sik for tonight's story," Yoora says. "Speaking of which, where is he?" Mia asked. She heard some screams and sees an ancient Korean king walk towards the stone walk, freezing people in sight, including Young-sik.

Mia dashes away to hide behind the stone wall and says, "TIKI! SPOTS ON!" She transforms into Ladybug and goes to stop Wang EunJeo. Tying him up after he steals his scepter back and says, "Didn't anyone ever tell you it's wrong to steal, Wang EunJeo?!"

"Someone should've told your people that because this is originally my scepter!" Wang EunJeo said. "Well it wouldn't be stealing if you really were Wang EunJeo, but you are not!" Mia exclaims.

Yoora is secretly filming as she whispers, "Here we are in the museum of ancient Korean history, and I am right now filming a battle between Ladybug and Wang EunJeo! This is so epic!"

Chanyeol looks at a live action video of the fight and his mouth is wide opened. Plagg says, "Wow. I had no idea ancient Koreans had such fighting skills. Marinette and Adrien could've used this." "It's time to transform," Chanyeol says, "PLAGG! CLAWS OUT!"

Once he transforms, Chanyeol goes to the museum. Meanwhile, Mia is trapped in a coffin close to the stone wall. Wang EunJeo is looking for a hostage among his frozen victims. Chanyeol arrived and tried to get Ladybug out. Yoora is filming and said, "Black Cat has just arrived to the scene. Maybe the fight will be more intense against Wang EunJeo."

Wang EunJeo spots Yoora and looks at the picture on the stone wall. He says, "Perfect," and walked to Yoora, "you look similar to her. EunHae will make a lovely wife out of you." "Hey! Put me down! I can walk myself!" Yoora says.

Chanyeol says, "Oh no!" "Black Cat! What happened?!" Mia asks. "No-I mean, Park Yoora, just got kidnapped by Wang EunJeo," Chanyeol said, "we need to save her." "We will. Now get me out of here!" Mia said. Chanyeol exclaims, "CATACLYSM!" and used his power on the coffin, and freed Mia, "Now you're a freed bug, my lady."

When Chanyeol attempted to kiss her hand, Mia pushed him by the nose and said, "No time for your silly charms, Black Cat. I need to find Wang EunJeo and Yoora while you recharge your Miraculous up." "Okay my lady," Chanyeol said, "make sure you save Yoora." Mia nods as she runs out of the museum.

Wang EunJeo then goes outside to find some people to hypnotize and took them and Yoora to the cave where she found the story. "God of love and marriage," Wang EunJeo said, "I, King Wang EunJeo, request you to marry my son, Prince Wang EunHae!" "Omg, I need to film this," Yoora said.

Chanyeol was sitting in the basement of the museum as Plagg was eating up his Camembert. "So this Wang EunJeo guy is really trying to use your sister and ritual to give his dead son a wife?" Plagg asks, swallowing his cheese.

"I hope she isn't," Chanyeol says, "come on Plagg. Your energy is charged up enough. PLAGG CLAWS OUT!" After transforming for a second time, Chanyeol tracks Mia down with his staff and goes to the cave to save his older sister. Meanwhile Wang EunJeo is setting everything up for the ritual.

Yoora, while filming, then asks, "Excuse me, Wang EunJeo. Can you please explain to me what's going on?" "I am trying to redo the afterlife marriage ritual so my son, EunHae, who died without marrying someone, can finally have a wife in the afterlife," Wang EunJeo said.

"Is it the same story in the cave about the human sacrifice?" Yoora asks. Wang EunJeo replies, "Yes. The only way to give my son the wife he deserves is to send a living soul to the god of love and marriage." "Where are you going to get one of those?" Yoora asked.

"I already have her. You," Wang EunJeo said, "You fair lady look like her." He shows Yoora the horse keeper he tried to sacrifice years ago. Yoora said, "Oh my god! Ladybug! Help! I'm the sacrifice for the love and marriage god that might be wedded to Wang EunHae! Please help me!"

Mia, who is standing on top of the cave, hears Yoora and says, "Don't worry Yoora. Me and Black Cat will save you." "Ready my lady?" Chanyeol asks. Mia says, "As always. I need you to distract the henchmen while I save Yoora from Wang EunJeo."

"Please, let me save Yoora," Chanyeol says. Mia says, "Black Cat. We're both saving her. I only need to go after Wang EunJeo because I'm only person who can capture his akuma. If we're going to save her, we need to work together." Chanyeol nods as he says, "Okay Ladybug!"

As the loyal servants were about to give Yoora to the love and marriage god, Chanyeol says, "Yoohoo suckers! I bet you can't catch me!" He then leaps towards the mountains to get the servants away. Wang EunJeo turns to see Mia and says, "Ladybug!" "Take her miraculous Wang EunJeo!" Hawkmoth says, "Her earrings!"

As Mia swoops in the grab Yoora, Wang EunJeo said, "Give me that lady back, you venomous insect! I need her to give my son his birthday gift! I'm also going to take your earrings to give to the love and marriage god as a thank you gift as well!" Mia hits Wang EunJeo in his head, and take Yoora to a different mountain on the other side of the forest.

"Thank you Ladybug for saving me!" Yoora says. Mia says, "No problem. But I still need to take care of Wang EunJeo and find out where the akuma is hiding." "Oh," Yoora says, "you mean the ancient Korean pendant around his neck?"

"The pendant?" Mia asks Yoora. Yoora explained, "It looked very similar to the one I saw on Young-sik's college student at the museum, Jaewon." "Thank you. That helps me out a lot," Mia says, "Now that I know where his akuma is, I need to find him and capture it."

"You won't stop me from completing the ritual Ladybug!" Wang EunJeo exclaims, "You may have stopped me thousands of years ago, but I won't allow you to stop me this time!" Yoora is shocked, and looks at the pictures she took on her phone, and sees that Ladybug is the "goddess" that saved the horse keeper from being sacrificed.

"Wait a minute? Ladybug, thousands of years ago?!" Yoora asks. Mia is surprised about this too. Wang EunJeo throws Yoora's phone on the ground, but Mia catches it as he says, "You're no match for me Ladybug! Once I sacrifice this girl, I'm going to take your's and Black Cat's Miraculouses!"

As he runs away, Yoora exclaims, "Ladybug, help!" Mia runs towards them as Chanyeol finishes fighting the henchmen. "My lady, what happened?" Chanyeol asks. Mia explains, "Black Cat. Wang EunJeo took Yoora again, but this time, I know what to do. The akuma is in his pendant."

"Alright my Bugaboo," Chanyeol says, "use that charm of yours." Mia smirks and yells, "LUCKY CHARM!" Her Lucky Charm conjures up a small ladybug printed box filled with a set of earrings and a necklace, both of which look similar to Mia's miraculous. "Jewelry?" Mia asks. Chanyeol asks, "Are you planning on giving him a farewell present?"

Using her lucky vision, Mia sees the earrings glow up as she says, "Actually, yes I am." They walk to Wang EunJeo as he is about to sacrifice Yoora. "Hold it right there Wang EunJeo!" Mia exclaims, "I have an even better offer for you and the love and marriage god!" "Too late Ladybug, the ritual has just started," Wang EunJeo explains.

Mia says, "Free Yoora and you can sacrifice me, and take my miraculous! I know that would be the sweetest revenge on behalf of you and your son. After all, I prevent EunHae from getting married thousands of years ago to the horse keeper!"

"I suppose that's right," Wang EunJeo says, "and you would be a better wife for my dear son than this mere mortal Ladybug, Goddess of Good Luck." EunJeo pushes Yoora out of the way and has Mia stand in the circle. "Take her miraculous Wang EunJeo!" Hawkmoth exclaims. Holding out his hand, Wang EunJeo says, "Now give me the second part of your deal."

Mia pretends to take her earrings off, and before giving them to Wang EunJeo, she snatches the pendant and throws her earrings towards the cave.

He looks at the earrings and says, "A fake. Ladybug, you fooled me!" Mia crushes the pendant with her fist and says, "Time to put your evil to rest little akuma. De-evilize!" After catching the akuma, Mia purifies and frees it. She tosses the jewelry box in the air and yells, "Miraculous Ladybug!"

The people unfreeze at the museum and everything else turns back to normal, including Jaewon. He then says, "What?" "Pound it," Mia and Chanyeol say. They take Yoora and Jaewon back to the museum.

Yoora takes her phone out and asks, "Um. Ladybug. Black Cat. Thanks for saving me. And might I ask, when you two get the chance, may I interview you?" "Sure thing," Chanyeol says, leaping away. Mia nods, "We'll be happy to. I have to go, bug out!"

Mia flings the yo-yo towards the top of the museum when her earrings beep. After getting out of transformation, Mia finds Hyunmi at the museum and asks, "Are you okay Hyunmi?" "Yeah," Hyunmi says, "that darn ancient king froze me when I was about to follow him. Where were you and Yoora at?"

"You won't believe this," Mia says, "I got turned into his evil henchman." "I hope you weren't the one of the henchmen that tried to sacrifice me," Yoora says jokingly. Mia asks, "Oh no! He tried to sacrifice you?! Are you okay?"

Yoora says, "Yeah, I'm okay. After all, I found out that Ladybug was the supposed goddess that stopped Wang EunJeo thousands of years ago. She must have lived a long time to leave such a miraculous legacy! My boss will be impressed with my scoop!"

"I'm sure of it," Mia says. Young-sik said, "Yoora. It's time to go, the interview starts in two hours." "Okay," Yoora says, "See you Mia and Hyunmi." "Bye Yoora!" they say. After a while, Mia and Hyunmi walk to their houses.

Mia looks at the interview on a history channel and asks Tiki, "Tiki, I'm curious. I know I'm not thousands of years old, so was the Ladybug on the cave painting a former miraculous holder?" "Well of course she was," Tiki says, "thousands of years ago, even before that Ladybug's time, kwamis like me and miraculouses like your earrings were created to keep the world in balance."

"I must be different from all the other Ladybugs before me, I bet," says Mia, turning off the TV and her light. Tiki says, "Of course, but in a good way. Each Ladybug is different, and that includes you, Marinette, and the ancient Korean Ladybug you learned about. And with each difference you have, good things will happen for you."

Mia kisses Tiki's head and says, "I'm glad fate has chosen me to take Cousin Marinette's place. I want to be worthy of my position." "You already are Mia," Tiki says, "now get some sleep. You have that radio show interview tomorrow." "You're right, good night Tiki," Mia says. They both fall asleep while smiling.
