Alya looks at the fox miraculous and the note again. She is not sure who returned them but is glad to have them back. She is grateful Carapace and Ladybug are safe too. She is glad Adrien and Marinette are back too. 

    Nino smirks as Adrien walks past them. Alya sees and nudges his arm.

    "Alya, what was that for?"

     "I could ask you the same thing."

      "Shh, Nino, look over there."

     "Where?"

    "There on Marinette's balcony."

      "So, what about it?"  

     Alya groans. She elbows Nino again. She rolls her eyes in annoyance at once. She begins to think his glasses prescription must be out of date.

     Nino looks up as pocks him with her elbows. He finally notices what she does. It is Adrien standing there talking to Marinette.

     Odd, it is a bit late for him to be there, is not it?  He thought.

      "Well, did you see it too?"

       "Yes, I sure did."

      Nino gulps. Then, he grins again.

      "Told you, all along, they were secretly seeing each other."

     "Oh, and you owe me $50.00, Alya, so pay up."

      "Fine, take it."

     Alya hands him the $50.00 even though she is not sure if this means what she thinks it does or not. Then, again why else would Adrien be at the Dupain-Cheng's at this hour?

     Adrien seems oblivious to the fact that Alya and Nino saw him with Marinette. He continues to talk to her as if it was normal for him to show up at this time of day.

     "Wow, Adrien that is quite a shocker."

       "I know right."

        "I am sorry about your mom."

        Marinette hugs him.

        Adrien was taken aback by the hug but hugged her in return.

            Marinette whispers something in his ear.

           "Wh-what?"  

            He feels his face turn red.

          "You heard me, A-Adrien. I  love you."

             Adrien smiles at her in surprise.  He is not sure how to respond.

              "Mari..."

               Marinette turns to go inside without another word. She might as well. It is not like he loves her too.

                Adrien spins her around. He wipes the tears from her face.

                "It is alright."

                 Marinette tries to pull free from his arms.

                 Adrien kisses her.

                 Marinette is taken off guard by the kiss but soon recovers. She kisses him too.

                "I l-love y-you too."

                  Adrien asks her to be his girlfriend.

                  Marinette agrees.

                  "Good night, Mari."

                  Adrien kisses her cheek, then he jumps off the balcony.  

                Marinette is about to call for Tikki when she sees Chat Noir as he walks off in the direction of the Agreste mansion.

             Odd, she thought. What happened to Adrien?
