"Beep! Beep! Beep!"sounded the alarm clock."Marinette! Time to get up!"shouted her mom from down stairs."Okay,I'm coming" said Marinette as she drag herself out of her warm,cozy bed. She went down stairs where her mother was washing some dishes and her father was watching the news. Marinette smiled as she grabbed a cereal box,a bowl,and a gallon of milk. After she finished eating,she ran upstairs to dress and get ready for school. As she was about to finish dressing,her kwami;Tikki flew up to her."Ready for another great day,Marinette?"asked the little red kwami. Marinette smiled and nodded. Tikki flew in her owner's pouch as Marinette grabbed her backpack and ran down stairs and to the door."Bye mom and dad!"shouted the teenager as she opened the door. Her parents both wave good-bye and with that,Marinette ran her out of her house,crossed the street and straight to school. Her best friend Alya,was already waiting for her at the front doors of the school. The two entered the school and went to their classroom. Soon Adrien and his best friend Nino entered the class and sat themself in front of Marinette and Alya. Marinette stared at Adrien with dreamy eyes. Soon their teacher; Mrs. Bustier came in with a girl who had a brown satchel and brown backpack. The girl had short black hair dark as night,white eyes,and had her bangs on to right side of her forehead. She also had a silver brooch with a wolf on it on the left side of her light blue sweater. She also wear a long sleeve shirt underneath​with black spots a over it and black flats."Class,I'd like you to meet your newest classmate; Gabriella Dupain-Cheng!" announced their teacher as she put a hand on the girl's shoulder. All the kids turned their eyes on Marinette."Gabriella Dupain-Cheng?"thought Marinette. At an instinct,she raised her hand."Yes, Marinette?"said Mrs. Bustier. Marinette thought for a moment. "Is there anything you would like to asked Gabriella?"her teacher continued."Who is your...um... parents? Like...uh...what's their names?"asked Marinette, nervously. Gabriella stayed quiet for a few seconds before answering."M-My mother's name is Linda Dupain-Cheng a-and my father is James B-Banks"she finally said. Marinette stared at the girl before her eyes widen. "G-G?"said Marinette. The girl's eyes widen as well."M?"she said. Marinette smiled and looked like she was going to cry. She ran to Gabriella with open arms and hugged her. Tears ran down both the girls' cheeks. Mrs. Bustier looked confused and so did the rest of the class. But,Marinette then explained that Gabriella.... was her cousin. All the kids were shocked but,at the same time happy for the girls for their reunion. After school everyone greeted Garbriella with kindness and smiles. All expect for Chole and her "friend",Sabrina."What's so important about her?!"scoffed Chloe."I mean,I am the mayor's daughter after all! I should be getting all that attention!"she continued. Sabrina nodded in agreement. Chole looked at Gabriella one more time before turning around and walked away,angrily. It turns out Gabriella came here to Paris to come live with Marinette and her parents."And this is Alya,my best friend"said Marinette as she introduced Alya to her cousin. Behind the three girls were Adrien and Nino."Is it me or does the new girl look a lot like Marinette?"asked Nino."It's not you"said Adrien,giggling. Alya spotted the boys and motioned them to come over. Marinette froze when she saw Adrien coming."Gabriella,this is Adrien and Nino"said Alya. Gabriella smiled,shyly. Then,it was time to go home. Adrien's limo arrived. He got in it and the car drove away. Nino walked away and so did Alya."Bye girls"she said. The girls waved good-bye at her and headed for Marinette's house.
