I hope you loved Belinda and Jace's story. I woke up at 4.30 in the morning (GMT+8) to complete this book before submitting it for round 3 of the Open Novella Contest!

I thought the deadline was 23 59 GMT because that's what it usually is, and I panicked when the form closed. It was already 12.53 am in the UK since it's summer now and they're using GMT+1 instead of the usual GMT...

But I messaged the contest account and they accepted my entry. Yay! But anyway, I didn't make it through so... never mind. But it's okay! It's a good experience :)

This story wasn't meant to be set in New York. I haven't thought about where it was going to be set. However, I got confused with my other entry, Begin Again, that I began planning the location of this book as New York! But it worked out fine so that's that.

This is the sequel to Sparks Fly which is ironic because this book was completed first. The other book didn't meet the deadline... This book was also written before Sparks Fly which was meant to be the prequel. However, I soon realised that it had spoilers for the latter so I rearranged the order!

If you haven't done so, please check out my other ONC books, Begin Again and Sparks Fly. Of course, you should've read Sparks Fly before this book but it's okay. I'm sure you'll still enjoy it. I hope you will read Begin Again too because I put in the most amount of effort into it!
