The word "mismatch" is actually a term used in basketball when a tall person is defending a short person and vice versa or a strong person is defending a not-so-strong person and vice versa. Basically, you're not paired with someone who is of a similar physique.

This kind of fits this book because a couple who had broken up a long time ago have been matched in GameSetMatch, a dating app that promises to find you your soulmate! Doesn't this sound like a mismatch to you? :0
