Deeper and deeper,
It almost feels like I'm drowning.
The darkness grows,
The pressure piles up,
And soon enough
I feel as though I can't even breathe.
But just as I'm about to black out,
I'm right back where I was again.
I can breathe again
And I can relax once more.
Short as it may be,
Those moments are always the best.
If only they lasted longer.
Instead, a little later,
I am drowning once more...
