One month later. . .

It's been a month ever since (Y/N) first arrived in Equestria and his life couldn't be happier. He was able to get new jobs around Ponyville to earn some Bits for his new house which he now lives in near the Golden Oak Library. He was able to get to know more of his friends around the time he had to spend time with them. He learned that Pinkie Pie came from a rock farm and she loves to spread joy and make ponies smile all of the time, he learned that Applejack has an older brother and a younger sister and they all work hard together to make Sweet Apple Acres the best it can be, he learned that Rarity dreams of opening a lot of fashion boutiques all over Equestria, and he learned that both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy came from a cloud city in the sky called Cloudsdale and that Rainbow Dash dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt while Fluttershy stays at her cottage to look after her animal friends. It wasn't just those five (Y/N) became closer to as he was very helpful to all of the ponies in Ponyville. Whenever someone needed help, (Y/N) would always be there to help them out whenever they needed it. Due to this, (Y/N) became well known around Ponyville as the most helpful pony out there. Sometimes when (Y/N) wasn't working, he would practice some magic spells that he never learned before from spell books he looked at in the library. Today was the Summer Sun Celebration, an event where Princess Celestia chooses a town or city to let them see how she uses her magic to lower the moon and raise the Sun. Somepony was coming to supervise the festivities for the Summer Sun Celebration and (Y/N) volunteered to tour her for the event. Right now it was the early morning as (Y/N) was still in his house sleeping on his bed. However, as he was, the tip of his horn glowed a small white glow and he shifted a little while he was sleeping.

Inside of his dream, (Y/N) was standing out in a space-like void and he looked all around him in confusion.

(Y/N): Where am I?

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) Help.

(Y/N): Huh?

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) Please help them.

(Y/N): Is someone there? You can come on out, I won't hurt you.

Then a light blinded (Y/N) as he was then put into a different landscape that looked to be a castle of some sorts and around him he was in a room that was like a library with a book in the middle.

(Y/N): What is this place? Is this a dream?

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) Thousands of years ago, there were two regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for all the land.

The books that in the middle of the room then opened on it's own, levitated, and approached (Y/N) surprising him. In the book two alicorn figures were shown and one looked like Princess Celestia while the other was unknown to (Y/N). As the voice spoke, the pages flipped to show exactly what it was saying.

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) To do this, the eldest used her alicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn while the younger brought out the moon to begin at night.

(Y/N): I see, but. . . what does this have to do with me?

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) The two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, the younger alicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon.

(Y/N): That's. . . terrible.

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) She vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility for both sun and moon and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since.

(Y/N): So what do I have to do with all of this?

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) It has come to time that Nightmare Moon will be free again. And it's up to you to make sure that she will be stopped for good.

(Y/N): Me? Why me?

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) Didn't you make a promise to (M/N)? To protect Equestria and everyone on it?

(Y/N): W-What!? How do you know about that!? Who are you?!

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) You'll know in due time, but it is still must be you and your allies who shall stop Nightmare Moon once and for all.

(Y/N) thought hard about this for a minute, but he soon put on a determined face and he knew that the mysterious voice was right.

(Y/N): I'll do it! I'll save Equestria!

Mysterious Voice: (Echo) Thank you (Y/N). It appears that I can allow you to wake up now.

With that being said, a bright light blinds (Y/N)'s vision once more, and he went back to reality to wake up from his bed and he rubbed his eyes to get awake and he yawned while still wondering about the dream he just had.

(Y/N): That seemed too real to be a coincidence. If this event does happen though. . . then I know what I have to do.

(Y/N) got up from his bed to go out of his house and go to the mayor's office to see who exactly he was suppose to tour today. Along the way, almost everypony around waved at him to greet him and he waved back with a smile on his face. He eventually arrived at the mayor's office to meet up with Mayor Mare.

(Y/N): Good morning Mayor Mare. I came to see who exactly I'll be guiding today for the Summer Sun Celebration today.

Mayor Mare: Good morning to you too (Y/N). I've just received a message from the royal castle that the representative will be coming in just an hour. Her name is Twilight Sparkle and she'll be arriving by a chariot being pulled by two royal Pegasus guards so you should see them by the entrance of Ponyville.

(Y/N): Thank you mayor. I'm on it. (Thoughts) Twilight Sparkle huh? What a nice name.

One hour later. . .

(Y/N) waits patiently and he eventually sees a gold chariot being pulled by two royal Pegasus guards in the air and they land in Ponyville. The passengers which was a unicorn mare and a baby dragon got off the chariot and thanked the guards for their service.

The unicorn mare has a pale, light grayish mulberry coat, a dark sapphire blue mane and tail with moderate purple and brilliant raspberry streaks in them, she had moderate violet eyes and her Cutie Mark is a pink-six-pointed sparkle surrounded by five small white sparkles. The baby dragon next to Twilight has light mulberry scales with a light spring budish grey underbelly and light lime green ear fronds, moderate pistachio eyes and moderate harlequin spikes.

(Y/N) saw the two and walked towards them while hearing them have a conversation.

Twilight Sparkle: She said to check on preparations. I am her student, and I'll do my royal duty, but the fate of Equestria does not rest on me making friends.

Spike: Maybe the ponies in Ponyville have interesting things to talk about. Come on, Twilight, just try!

Pinkie walked up to Twilight and Twilight then tried to greet her.

Twilight Sparkle: Um. . . hello?

Pinkie let out a really long gasp before jumping up into the air and she zoomed off over the two surprising them.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, that was interesting all right.

(Y/N): *chuckles* Classic Pinkie Pie, she's always the fun and exciting one.

Both Twilight and Spike turned to see (Y/N) approach them.

Twilight Sparkle: And you are?

(Y/N): My name is (Y/N). It's nice to meet you.

Both Twilight and Spike looked at each other in slight confusion when (Y/N) just said his name to them.

Twilight Sparkle: Uh. . . sorry, but could you repeat that name?

(Y/N): (Y/N).

Spike: Wow. Weird name.

(Y/N): I get that a lot. Anyways are you Twilight Sparkle?

Twilight Sparkle: Yes I am. Can I ask how you know my name?

(Y/N): I actually volunteered to give the representative of the Summer Sun Celebration a tour around Ponyville and I was told by the mayor that you are that representative.

Twilight Sparkle: I see. Well, as you already know my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is my assistant Spike.

Spike: Hi there.

(Y/N): Hello to you as well.

Twilight then noticed (Y/N)'s wings and horn and she let out a small gasp.

Twilight Sparkle: You're an alicorn?!

(Y/N): Yep, I'm actually the only alicorn here in Ponyville.

Spike: That's surprising! Alicorns are very rare and the only known alicorn is Princess Celestia and Princess Cadence. How are you one?

(Y/N): Um. . . it's a long story. I'll tell you two if I get the chance. Right now, let's get going with the tour so we can be prepared for the festival.

Twilight Sparkle: Okay. Let's get this over with. Spike, what's first on the list?

Spike: Summer Sun Celebration official overseer's checklist. Number one, banquet preparations: Sweet Apple Acres.

(Y/N): Sweet Apple Acres. I know a friend of mine that actually works there, follow me.

(Y/N) then started walking off with both Twilight and Spike following him.

Spike: Doesn't he seem like a good guy, Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: I guess so. He's okay in my book.

(Y/N), Twilight and Spike made it to Sweet Apple Acres.

(Y/N): Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres you two. This place has the best and juiciest apples in all of Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle: It does seem very country-like here.

Applejack: YEE-HAW!

(Y/N), Twilight, and Spike turn to see Applejack kick a tree with her hind legs, making the apples on it fall down into the buckets below.

(Y/N): Hey, Applejack.

Applejack turned towards (Y/N) and walked up to him with a smile.

Applejack: Howdy there, sugarcube. Who are these two with you?

(Y/N): This is Twilight and this is Spike. I'm actually giving them a tour around Ponyville.

Twilight Sparkle: Good afternoon. My name is Twilight Sparkle-

Twilight's sentence was interrupted as Applejack shook her hoof very fast and vigorously.

Applejack: Well, howdy-doo, Miss Twilight, a pleasure makin' your acquaintance. I'm Applejack. We here at Sweet Apple Acres sure do like makin' new friends!

Twilight Sparkle: Friends? Actually, I-

Applejack: So, what can I do you for?

Due to Applejack's strength, Twilight's hoof is still shaking until Spike stops her before snickering and Twilight glared at him. She also gave a slight confused look to (Y/N) for a second.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, I am in fact here to supervise preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration. And you're in charge of food?

Applejack: We sure as sugar are!

(Y/N): Do you want to try some samples here Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: As long as it doesn't take too long. . .

Applejack then ran off and she rung a triangle and it made a loud ring.

Applejack: SOUP'S ON EVERYPONY!

(Y/N): Oh, that's right! The Apple Family Reunion also today.

Twilight then gave a shocked look to (Y/N).

Twilight Sparkle: What?! And you didn't tell us before. . . HAND!

When Twilight finishes her sentence, a stampede came and the next thing (Y/N), Twilight, and Spike knew was that they were in chairs with a table of delicious apple-themed food in front of them surrounded by Applejack's family.

Applejack: This here's Apple Fritter. Apple Bumpkin. Red Gala. Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Caramel Apple, Apple Strudel, Apple Tart, Baked Apples, Apple Brioche, Apple Cinnamon Crisp... *deep breath* Big McIntosh, Apple Bloom and Granny Smith.

Granny Smith was sleeping on her rocking chair, and she is an elderly earth pony with a light lime green coat, a light grey mane and tail, light brilliant orange eyes, she wears an orange scarf with red apple desgins on it and her Cutie Mark is an apple pie. Applejack woke her up.

Applejack: Up'n'attem, Granny Smith, we got company.

Granny Smith: Wha. . .? Soup's on? I'm up, here I come, ahm comin'

(Y/N): You have such an amazing family, Applejack.

Applejack: *chuckles* Thanks (Y/N). I mean both you and Twilight are part of the family.

Twilight had a bunch of food stuffed in her mouth before spitting it back out.

Twilight Sparkle: *nervous laugh* Okay, well I can see the food situation is handled, so we'll be on our way.

(Y/N): Come on, Twilight. There's plenty of food to go around and it's only noon.

Applejack: Yeah. He's right. At least have a meal with us.

Twilight looked at (Y/N) confused and he nodded his head slowly, Twilight just sighed.

Twilight Sparkle: . . .Fine.

Everyone cheered and the four had brunch as planned.

After having brunch with the Apple family, (Y/N) guided Twilight and Spike to another spot in Ponyville.

Spike: Food's all taken care of, next is weather.

Twilight Sparkle: Ugh. . . I ate too much pie. . .

(Y/N): Applejack and her family sure do know how to make such good Apple-themed foods.

Twilight then walked up to (Y/N) to ask him a question.

Twilight Sparkle: How close are you to Applejack exactly?

(Y/N): She's actually one of my best friends. I've helped Applejack sometimes at Sweet Apple Acres by either selling some of their apples across Ponyville or just help her buck some apples off some trees.

Twilight Sparkle: I see. Despite that, what's next on the list Spike?

Spike: Hmm, there's supposed to be a Pegasus pony named Rainbow Dash clearing the clouds.

(Y/N): I know her as well. She should be around her somewhere.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, she's not doing a very good job clearing those clouds, is she?

(Y/N): Hey, Dash! Are you here? I've got some ponies here I want you to meet.

Then a blur crashed into Twilight right beside (Y/N) which startled him and he sees both of them crash into a mud puddle.

(Y/N): Are you two alright?

Rainbow Dash: Hey, (Y/N). I heard your voice and I just came down to try to surprise you, but I missed.

(Y/N): *nervous laugh* Yeah. And you're kinda squishing Twilight there.

Rainbow Dash realized that she was sitting on Twilight by accident and she let out a sheepish laugh.

Rainbow Dash: Uh, 'scuse me? *sheepish laugh*

Twilight grunts with an unamused look as she was now covered in mud.

(Y/N): You might wanna clean her up Dash.

Rainbow Dash: No problem.

Rainbow Dash flew off and came back with a rain cloud which she places above Twilight and jumps on it, making it pour rain on Twilight. The rain washed away the mud, but now Twilight's mane and tail were drenched.

Rainbow Dash: Oops, I guess I overdid it.

Twilight Sparkle: You think?!

Rainbow Dash: How about this? My very own patented Rain-Blow Dry!

Rainbow Dash created a rainbow tornado around Twilight and when she was finished, Twilight's mane and tail were now all poofy.

This made Rainbow Dash, Spike, and (Y/N) burst out laughing while Twilight tries to prevent herself from exploding with anger. She then glares at (Y/N) annoyed.

Twilight Sparkle: Let me guess, this is your friend Rainbow Dash?

(Y/N): Yep, she's the one and only.

Rainbow Dash: What? Have you heard of me?

(Y/N): Dash, this is Twilight Sparkle and Spike. I'm giving them a tour while they also are here to check on your duty as weather manager to keep the sky clear.

Rainbow Dash then relaxes on a nearby cloud.

Rainbow Dash: That's it? Don't worry about it. I'll do that as soon as I'm done practicing.

Twilight Sparkle: Pracitice? Practice for what?

Rainbow Dash: The Wonderbolts! They're gonna perform at the Celebration tomorrow, and I'm gonna show 'em my stuff!

Twilight Sparkle: The Wonderbolts?

Rainbow Dash: Yep!

Twilight Sparkle: The most talented flyers in all of Equestria?

Rainbow Dash: That's them!

Twilight Sparkle: Pfft! Please. They'd never accept a-

(Y/N) interrupted Twilight by covering her mouth with his hoof.

(Y/N): Twilight, I'll have you know that Rainbow Dash is the fastest flyer. I mean, I've raced her so many times that we're almost the same speed.

Twilight Sparkle: You've raced her?

(Y/N): Yep. She so fast that she can clear this sky in ten seconds flat.

Twilight Sparkle: Ten seconds? Prove it. There's no possible way that anypony can clear ALL of these clouds in ten seconds.

(Y/N) and Rainbow Dash gave a smug look to each other.

(Y/N): Go ahead, Dash. Show them your stuff.

Rainbow Dash: Bring it!

(Y/N): Okay! Ready. . . GO!

Rainbow Dash took off to the sky and pierced through the clouds, clearing the entire sky before landing on a nearby bridge.

(Y/N): And that's exactly ten seconds! You're getting faster by the days Rainbow!

Rainbow Dash: Heh. If you want to see how much, then we race again.

(Y/N): Sure. Maybe later.

Meanwhile, Twilight and Spike were both shocked by Rainbow Dash's display of speed.

Rainbow Dash: *laughs* You should see the looks on your faces, they're priceless!

Rainbow Dash flies back in the air about to leave.

Rainbow Dash: You two are alright. We should hang out sometime. Anyways, I gotta some other things I have to do. See ya later!

With that being said, Rainbow Dash flies off.

Spike: That. . . was. . . AWESOME!

Twilight then turned to (Y/N) still in shock.

Twilight Sparkle: And you're telling me you've raced someone THAT fast!?

(Y/N): Yep. I've done a lot with Rainbow Dash actually. We've raced, done some weather jobs together, and even practice some aerial tricks in the sky.

Twilight Sparkle: Anyways, what's next on the list Spike?

Spike: Hmm. Decorations.

(Y/N): Follow me. There's a unicorn that I know who's in charge of the decorations and also she may be able to fix your mane Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, thank Celestia. I didn't want to have this mane for the rest of the day.

(Y/N): It is kind of pretty though.

Twilight blushed a little at his compliment before making it go away.

The three then arrive at the town hall which is being set up with decorations for the Summer Sun Celebration.

Spike: So like I said, next up on the list is decorations.

Spike then looks forwards to see a certain fashionista who is inspecting and putting up ribbons. He had hearts in his eyes as he was mesmerized by her beauty.

Spike: Beautiful. . .

Twilight Sparkle: Yes, the ribbons do look beautiful. With all this done, I will be able to finish and get to the library to continue my research.

(Y/N): You're staying at the Golden Oak Library? I actually have a house right beside there.

Twilight then look at (Y/N) slightly surprised at that statement.

Twilight Sparkle: Really?

(Y/N): Yep, I guess we're next door neighbors then.

Twilight Sparkle: (Thoughts) I just can't stop thinking. Why is he so nice? Why does my heart feel so warm and fuzzy when I'm around him? (Out of Thoughts) I-I guess so. Anyways, the decorations are beautiful.

Spike: Not the decorations! Her!

Spike pointed at Rarity with hearts in his eyes. He then quickly checks himself out.

Spike: How are my spines? Are they straight?

Twilight rolls her eyes at the tiny dragon's crush while (Y/N) got a mischievous smile and tip toed towards Rarity. When he got close enough, he then scared her.

(Y/N): BOO!

Rarity: KYAHHHH!!

The reaction (Y/N) wanted succeeded as Rarity jumped up high into the air and when she came back down, (Y/N) caught her with his magic. He gave Rarity a smug look on his face.

(Y/N): How was your trip to the sky Rarity? I mean you clearly fell back down for me.~

Rarity then puffed her cheeks, blushed, and glared at (Y/N).

Rarity: (Y/N)! That wasn't funny! You really scared me!

(Y/N): Sorry Rarity. I just like seeing either your scared or your angry face. I can't tell which one's more beautiful.

Rarity blushes even harder still glaring at (Y/N).

Rarity: Just. . . put me down please!

(Y/N) did exactly that and Rarity then got rid of her blush that she had.

Rarity: Anyways, what brings you here (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I'm giving the supervisor of the Summer Sun Celebration a tour of Ponyville and she wants to see the decorations.

Rarity: Oh, well then. It's nice to meet you, my name is Rarity and-

Rarity notices Twilight's mane and points to it in shock.

Rarity: Oh my stars, darling! What happened to your mane?!

(Y/N): Oh. . . that's right. I forgot to mention. . . Rainbow Dash sorta drenched Twilight with rain to clean some mud off of her and then gave Twilight, her Rain-Blow Dry.

Rarity: Oh, you poor, poor thing. Honestly that Pegasus can be reckless. Come with me, I'll get you fixed all up.

Rarity started pushing Twilight and Twilight turns to (Y/N) with a worried look.

Twilight Sparkle: Wait! Where are we going?! Help me (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Don't worry Twilight, she's just going to fix your mane and tail right up.

(Y/N) reassures her as they all left the town hall with Spike following with the look of a lovesick puppy.

They were all now in Carousel Boutique where Rarity not only fixed Twilight's mane and tail, but she also made Twilight wear different dresses while (Y/N) and Spike watch.

Spike: Wow. . . she's amazing. I've never seen anypony make Twilight wear so many dresses.

(Y/N) chuckled at Spike's little crush on Rarity.

(Y/N): Yep, that's Rarity for ya. If there's anything she's good at doing, it's definitely being a fashion designer.

Rarity: Now you were telling me more about yourself.

Rarity tightens the dress Twilight is currently wearing making her wince.

Twilight Sparkle: I've. . . been sent. . . from Canterlot. . . to-

Before Twilight could finish her sentence, Rarity lost her grip from pulling on the dress and was sent flying.

Rarity: Canterlot?! Oh, I am so envious! The glamour, the sophistication! I have always dreamed of living there! I can't wait to hear all about it! We are gonna be the best of friends, you and I. . .

Rarity then looks at the dress Twilight is wearing and got an idea in her head.

Rarity: Emeralds?! What was I thinking? Let me get you some rubies!

Rarity left to find some more jewels and Twilight used her magic to change herself back to her original clothes before fleeing.

Twilight Sparkle: Quick! Before she decides to dye my coat a new color!

Spike wasn't listening as just sighed at Rarity in lovesick mode and (Y/N) just dragged him out with his magic.

In the outskirts of the town, (Y/N), Twilight, and Spike who is sitting on Twilight's back head to the next location.

Spike: Wasn't she wonderful?

(A/N): Spike will get over his crush on Rarity in Season 2. I plan to hook him up with Ember later in a few seasons though.

(Y/N): *chuckles* You sure like Rarity don't you?

Spike: Of course. She's just so. . . beautiful.

Twilight Sparkle: Focus, Casanova. What's next on the list?

Spike: *clears throat* Oh, uh, music! That's the last one!

(Y/N): I actually have a best friend in charge of that as well. Follow me.

Twilight Sparkle: Hold on. You seem to have a close relationship with Rarity if your able to scare and tease her.

(Y/N): We're really great friends in fact. Sometimes I go over to her boutique and try on some outfits she makes or help her deliver some to ponies in town.

Twilight Sparkle: I see. And another thing, you seem to be pretty popular here around Ponyville.

Twilight says that as some ponies wave to (Y/N) as he waved back at them.

(Y/N): I am actually. I've done some odd jobs, helped ponies out, and just make sure everyone's okay in general.

Twilight Sparkle: You say that like it's your duty or something.

(Y/N): Well. . . I guess it kind of is in a way. I'd help and protect my friends no matter what.

Twilight Sparkle: (Thoughts) Again. What is this feeling? It's happening every time I'm talking to (Y/N). (Out of Thoughts) Alright then, enough chitchat where is this friend you speak of.

(Y/N): She should be right across here somewhere. Also, just a heads up she can be very shy when she meets new ponies.

Twilight Sparkle: Okay then.

The three of them arrived at their destination to see Fluttershy directing a bird choir who sung along with the birds.

(Y/N): (Thoughts) Wow. Fluttershy has such a lovely singing voice. (Out of Thoughts) Hi Fluttershy.

Fluttershy turns to see (Y/N) and gives him a small smile.

Fluttershy: H-Hello (Y/N).

(Y/N): I'm actually giving the pony in charge of supervising the Summer Sun Celebration a tour to see how the preparations are going.

Fluttershy: I see. . .

Fluttershy looked very shyly at Twilight as she turned her head to hide behind her hair.

Twilight Sparkle: Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle. What's your name?

Fluttershy: *quietly* Fluttershy.

Twilight Sparkle: I'm sorry, could you repeat that. I didn't catch that.

Fluttershy: *even quieter* Um. . . My name is Fluttershy.

Twilight turned to (Y/N) and raised an eyebrow and him.

(Y/N): Her name is Fluttershy. Anyways, if you don't mind Fluttershy, would you care to show us the music you have planned?

Fluttershy: O-Oh, of course.

Fluttershy then turns to the bird choir.

Fluttershy: Is everyone ready? A one. A two. A three.

Soon enough, the birds begin singing along with Fluttershy and once they were done singing, Twilight and Spike were speechless while (Y/N) just smiled.

Twilight Sparkle: Amazing! That sounded beautiful!

(Y/N): Yeah, I have to admit that Fluttershy has the most beautiful singing voice I've ever heard.

Fluttershy blushes at the compliment (Y/N) and gave an embarrassed smile.

Fluttershy: (Thoughts) He. . . thinks my singing is beautiful. . .

Spike: Yeah, I agree. That was amazing.

Fluttershy noticed Spike and squealed as she rushed up to him.

Fluttershy: A baby dragon! I never seen a baby dragon before. He's sooo cute!

Twilight turned to (Y/N) with a confused look.

Twilight Sparkle: What was that? I thought you said she was very shy.

(Y/N): I may have also forgot to mention that she loves all sorts of animals. I should know so since I've hung out with her a bunch of times and I sometimes look after her animals for her. Anyways, we better get going Fluttershy, we'll see you soon.

Fluttershy: Oh okay, I'll see you soon too, (Y/N).

Fluttershy waves goodbye at (Y/N) as he also waves back while walking off with Twilight and Spike.

A few hours later, the three were finished with the tour and they were now headed towards the Golden Oak Library and by the time that they did, it was already dark. Twilight had an irritated look on her face.

Twilight Sparkle: I cannot believe I wasted my time with a bunch of crazy ponies, when I should be studying alone how to defeat Nightmare Moon and convince the princess of her return.

Spike: Well, what about (Y/N)? He doesn't all that bad at all.

Twilight looks at (Y/N) as he was walking ahead of him and didn't hear their conversation.

Twilight Sparkle: *sighs* He's. . . different I guess. There's something about him that I just don't know what to describe this feeling is whenever I'm around him.

Spike then gave a smug look to Twilight.

Spike: You like him don't you?

Twilight Sparkle: W-What?! No. . . I mean well. . . he's. . . there's no way I can have a crush on somepony I just met.

Spike: Twilight, there's been signs of you showing that you have a crush on (Y/N). You've been blushing at some compliments he been giving, you been asking him a lot of questions, and on top of that, your still following him.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, technically I'm supposed to follow him. He's my guide after all.

Spike: And the tour has ended. You haven't even thanked him yet for the tour.

Twilight looked back at the direction where (Y/N) is and she got a conflicted look.

Spike: Twilight. Just give him a thank you, he'll definitely appreciate it.

Twilight then sighs and walks up to (Y/N).

Twilight Sparkle: (Y/N). Thanks for the tour around Ponyville. It was. . . nice getting to know you.

(Y/N): It was nice getting to know you as well Twilight. Say, do you want to hang out sometimes?

Twilight Sparkle: Well, if I'm not studying, I guess so since we'll live right next to each other.

(Y/N): That great! Anyways, there's the library.

The three arrived at the Golden Oak Library and both Twilight and Spike went inside first.

Twilight Sparkle: Alright then, now that we're at the library, where's the light?

As Twilight said that, the lights turn on and a bunch of ponies were around them surprising them with a party.

Ponies: SURPRISE!

Twilight and Spike were dumbfounded by the surprise party while (Y/N) just had a smile on his face as he knew there was only one pony who planned this party.

Twilight Sparkle: What is all this?!

(Y/N): This is your "Welcome to Ponyville" party Twilight. My friend Pinkie Pie always loves to do this kind of stuff for ponies who are new to Ponyville.

Twilight Sparkle: Is this the same Pinkie Pie you mentioned earlier that zoomed off when we spoke to her?

(Y/N): Yep. Pinkie's also one of my best friends, I sometimes help her with planning parties like these, baking pastries, and sometimes hang out with her by playing some innocent pranks on our friends.

Twilight Sparkle: Sounds like to me that you have your hooves full with all of these "friends" you've mentioned.

(Y/N): Not really. I love all of my friends. I'd like to seem them happy no matter what.

Twilight looked at (Y/N) for a moment and blinked while having a slight blush on her cheeks. However, it went away when Pinkie Pie approached them.

Pinkie Pie: Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I threw this party just for you! Were you surprised?! Were ya?! Were ya?! Huh?! Huh?! Huh?!

Twilight Sparkle: Yeah. . . very surprised. Libraries are supposed to be quiet.

Pinkie Pie: Oh don't be silly! A silent is so booooooring! Y'see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all "hello" and I was all *deep gasp* remember? I have never seen you around before which means your new and if you're new, that means you don't know anypony here and it makes me super sad! So I thought *gasp* I know, I'll make her a super-duper welcome to Ponyville party and you can make lots and lots of friends!

When Pinkie finishes her reason, the rest of her friends come up behind her and Twilight pours herself a drink into a cup. (Y/N) notices what the liquid was and stopped Twilight from drinking the cup.

(Y/N): Oh, trust me I wouldn't drink that.

Twilight Sparkle: Why?

(Y/N): Let's just say that there a "flame" on the bottle for a reason.

(Y/N) reveals the the bottle Twilight poured into her cup was hot sauce.

Twilight Sparkle: Oh. . . thanks. I need a moment.

Twilight walks up into the bedroom of the library slightly annoyed.

Rainbow Dash: What's up with her?

(Y/N): I'll go speak to her. Great party as always Pinkie.

Pinkie Pie: *giggles* Thanks (Y/N).

(Y/N) follows Twilight in her bedroom to see her sitting on a bed with a pillow covering her head with a depressed atmosphere around her.

(Y/N): Are you alright Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: *sighs* It's just that I wanted to get some research done because before I left Canterlot, I read an old pony tale that says that on the longest day of the thousandth year, the stars will aid in Nightmare Moon's escape and she will bring eternal night and I believe that she will return on the Summer Sun Celebration.

When Twilight mentioned Nightmare Moon, this got (Y/N)'s attention.

(Y/N): Did you say Nightmare Moon?

Twilight turned to (Y/N) and she was also interested that he was interested in her story.

Twilight Sparkle: Yeah, why? Do you believe it as well?

(Y/N): This morning when I was asleep, I had this strange dream that someone was telling me about how Nightmare Moon is suppose to appear today. I thought at first that it was probably just a lucid dream I had, but if you also believe it to be today as well, then it can't be a mere coincidence.

Twilight Sparkle: That's. . . surprising.

(Y/N): I thought the same thing. Is there anyway to stop Nightmare Moon?

Twilight Sparkle: I've read in a book that Nightmare Moon was previously defeated with the six Elements of Harmony so I came here to find anything that would help me with any information on what the six elements are where to find them.

(Y/N): In that case, you can count me in Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: Really?

(Y/N): Yeah. Besides, there's no way I'm going to let Equestria be in eternal night by Nightmare Moon. I'm also going to save Equestria no matter the cost. If you feel like this is something you need to do, then I'll accompany you along the way.

Twilight was stunned that an alicorn stallion that she just met instantly believes her story and is willing to risk his life to save Equestria along with her.

(Y/N): Besides, we're friends. And I never let anyone hurt any of my friends.

Twilight Sparkle: We're f-friends?

(Y/N): Of course. I like you Twilight and you seem like a nice and smart pony. Anyway, I'll be downstairs enjoying the party if you need anything else.

As (Y/N) left the bedroom to go back downstairs and enjoy the party, Twilight was stunned at first, but that look soon turned into a smile as (Y/N) considers her his friend.

Twilight Sparkle: (Thoughts) (Y/N) such a nice guy. He's also somewhat handsome. I'm glad I met him today.

Later at night, the ponies of Ponyville have gathered in the town hall, waiting for the festivities of the Summer Sun Celebration to begin. (Y/N) stood next to Twilight who has Spike on her back along with Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie standing by while Fluttershy was getting the bird choir ready to sing while Rarity was standing on the central balcony, ready to pull the curtains to reveal the appearance of Princess Celestia.

As they all waited, Pinkie was currently telling Twilight a lot of things and how (Y/N) arrived in Ponyville a month ago.

Twilight Sparkle: Has he ever stated where he's originally from?

Pinkie Pie: No, he never did. I never bothered asking him. Anyways, isn't this exciting? Are you excited, 'cause I'm excited, I've never been so excited well, except for the time that I saw you walking into town and I went *deep gasp* but I mean really, who can top that?

Mayor Mare then appears at the podium, ready to give her speech.

Mayor Mare: Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration.

(Y/N) then saw a bunch of stars outside that looked to be directed to the moon and he tapped Twilight to get her attention.

(Y/N): Twilight, look.

Both (Y/N) and Twilight see the cluster of stars crash into the moon, causing the images of the pony on it to disappear. (Y/N) and Twilight looked to each other with worried looks on their faces.

Mayor Mare: In just a few moments, our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year! And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria. . . Princess Celestia!

With that being said, Rarity pulled on the rope to move the curtains to reveal Princess Celestia. . . but she wasn't there.

(Y/N): That can't be good.

Twilight Sparkle: Yeah. It's probably who we both know who.

Everypony in the town hall then started to constantly chatter as they didn't know what was going on.

Mayor Mare: Remain calm, everypony, there must be a reasonable explanation!

Pinkie Pie: Ooh, ooh, I love guessing games! Is she hiding?

(Y/N): I don't think Princess Celestia would pull something like this on us Pinkie.

Rarity: She's gone!

All of the ponies gasp when Rarity couldn't see the princess anywhere.

Pinkie Pie: Ooh, she's good.

Then something unusual appeared that made Pinkie yelp. A purple mist gathered at the central balcony where the princess is supposed to be and it revealed someone completely different. She was an alicorn mare with a very dark cornflower blue coat, cyan eyes, she had a flowing brilliant phthalo blue mane with grayish, persian blue outlines, and around her body she looked to be wearing dark blue armor.

Twilight Sparkle: Nightmare Moon!

Spike fainted off of Twilight's back while (Y/N) had a serious face.

Nightmare Moon: Oh, my beloved subjects. It's been so long since I've seen your precious little sun-loving faces.

Rainbow Dash: What did you do with our Princess?!

Rainbow Dash tried to launch herself at Nightmare Moon, but Applejack grabbed her tail and pulled her back while Nightmare Moon just gives out an evil chuckle.

Nightmare Moon: Why, am I not royal enough for you? Don't you know who I am?

Pinkie Pie: Ooh, ooh, more guessing games! Um, Hokey Smokes! How about. . . Queen Meanie! No! Black Snooty, Black Snooty-

Applejack shoved an apple into Pinkie's mouth to silence her.

Nightmare Moon: Does my crown no longer count now that I have been imprisoned for a thousand years? Did you not recall the legend? Did you not see the signs?

Twilight Sparkle: I did. And I know who you are. You're the Mare in the Moon; Nightmare Moon!

All of the ponies gasp in shock that Twilight knew exactly who she was.

Nightmare Moon: Well well well, somepony who remembers me. Then you also know why I'm here.

Twilight Sparkle: You're here to. . . to. . .

Nightmare Moon: *chuckles* Remember this day, little ponies, for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night will last forever!

Nightmare Moon laughs evilly as she released lightning and darkness all around the town hall and nearly everypony was afraid. . . but one.

(Y/N): Not if I have anything to say about it!

This gained Nightmare Moon's and everypony's attention as they all look to see (Y/N) stand forward and glare at Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon then noticed that (Y/N) was an alicorn and she grew a shocked look.

Nightmare Moon: An alicorn?! Impossible!

(Y/N): You're clearly looking at one right now, so it's is possible! Anyways, I won't let you harm anypony or Equestria!

Nightmare Moon: You sure are bold to stand up to me! Very well, I'll end your life first if that's what you desire.

Nightmare Moon flies in the air and her horn glows and (Y/N) got into a position as he was ready to face her. All of the ponies in the town hall especially the Mane 6, looked at (Y/N) with shocked looks as he's going to fight Nightmare Moon.

(Y/N): (Thoughts) This is your moment (Y/N)! You made a promise and it's time to fulfill that promise! I will protect Equestria no matter what!
