---Festival Place---

"Oh my God, look at that man!"

"He is awesome, how can he do that?"

A horde of people could be seen standing not too far from the Shadow's stall. Since the festival is already open, Hayabusa quickly drowned himself to business.

He did his usual attraction by using a kind of fish's sharp part to cut off some squids, before accurately threw the cut ones onto the grill.

At his back, Kagura was preparing the food containers along with Mikage. It seems the attraction her husband has shown has earned themselves some customers.

---
Some time later, two familiar people (?) wearing Asian style outfit took a visit at their stall.

What I mean familiar is that, they know and are quite close to the stall owner. What they didn't expect come to the form of this:

"Konnichiwa, Hayabusa-san!" The girl greeted

The busy shadow noticed he was being called, and turned towards the voice. In his sight stood a woman with dark hair tied to a high ponytail (I don't know much about hairstyles sorry), short side bangs and a pair of dark cattish ears was visible.

"Oh, hello. How do you know my name?" The shadow asked.

"Eh? You don't recognize me?"

Hayabusa looked more intently, but still he was confused, luckily he didn't lose his focus on the grill as he kept attention on the grilled squids.

"Um, how about No?"

"Oh Gord..." the woman frowned. "Anyway, where's Kagi?"

"At the back. How do you know about my wife, though?" Hayabusa got even more and more confused.

"You'll see soon enough. Could you call her for me?"

Hayabusa was a bit suspicious, but decided to call his wife to meet her, anyway.

As on cue, Kagura met up with her husband and looked at the dark-haired girl. She looked a bit unfamiliar, but her pretty face was a total hint for the said girl. Though her appearance really shocked the smaller girl.

"M...Masaka...Anata wa... Miya-desuka?"

The elf just smiled, either she didn't know what Kagura is talking about, or her Suzuhime skin allows her to understand Japanese too...

"Hai! Watashi wa Miya-desu."

Probably the latter XD.

Kagura's face quickly formed a smile as she walked towards the elf and hugged, not noticing the male and the small girl behind the said elf.

"Na...Nanite koto da, Hisashiburi nee...Miya..."

(Oh my God, Long time no see, Miya!)

"Hisashiburi, Kagura." Miya replied.

The Kimono-clad girl continued to hug, until she noticed the male elf and a little girl elf beside him.

"Oh, who's there coming with you?"

"Eh?" Miya asked. "You don't notice him, Kagi?"

"Ehmm..." Kagura studied the male elf before her and noticed a very familiar feature of him, a very familiar scroll behind him.

"That scroll..." Kagura closed her mouth with her hands, signaling a shock. "A...Are you King Estes?"

Estes nodded. "Though, you can omit the "King" part. You can just call me Estes, my friend."

"You really looked different. I can hardly notice you since your eyes even changed color!."

"Oh, that's just contact lens he was wearing. I recommended that since pure white eyes could scare many ordinary people." Miya chuckled.

"Noted." Kagura also chuckled. "Oh, and this little cutie you got here?"

"That was our daughter, Seira." Estes said, before taking Seira's hand. "Seira, meet aunt Kagura and uncle Hayabusa, Mom's and Dad's friend."

Seira quickly shook Kagura's hand with a cheerful smile.

"Hi, aunt Kagura!"

Kagura gasped at Seira's cheerfulness, but of course kept smiling and returned the greeting.

"Where's uncle Hayabusa?"

Kagura then pointed at the man, which is now giving the ikayaki to the customer.

Seira could see the swiftness in Hayabusa's movement, juggling four activities: cutting squids, throwing the cut ones to the grill, giving sauce and giving the ready ones to the customer.

Payment and changes are actually Kagura's, but now a little girl is substituting her.

"Uncle Haya is still busy." Kagura replied. "Be a good girl and don't disturb him, okay?"

"Haaaaiii!"

Kagura then turned back to Miya. "Thanks for accepting my invitation, Miya! Seriously I really missed all of you guys, I really do."

"Well, we do feel the same." Miya said. "Even with Estes' business as King and many other things back in the Moonlight Elven Kingdom, we would always find time to accept invitations from our friends."

"So, as your friend, I really thank you for the invitation." Estes politely bowed.

"The honor is all mine, but hey, you don't have to be that formal, you know." Kagura chuckled, before noticing someone coming. "Oh, looks like Haya-kun is taking a rest now."

"I sure am." The said Shadow replied. "I've heard while working. So, Miya and Estes, huh? Your appearance did change much."

"This is only because we wore a set of clothes to make us look more like Asians." Miya said. "I could tell that the girl beside you is your daughter, correct?"

"Hmph." Hayabusa nodded. "This is our daughter, Mikage."

"Mikage? As in "Beautiful Shadow?" Estes asked.

"Oh, how do you know about that?" Kagura asked.

"Well, since Hayabusa is the shadow of Iga, so isn't that very obvious?" Estes chuckled.

"You're right on that one. Now, Mikage, say hi to aunt Miya and uncle Estes, oh also say hi to Seira too!"

Mikage just stayed calm. She looked quite reluctant. But then she did take their hands and shake it.

"H...Hi..."

"Oh my, we're not scary for her, right?" Estes asked.

"Maybe she's just too shy." Miya said.

"Yeah, sorry if our daughter's like this. She's a bit shy and quiet in front of new people, but she will eventually melt the ice when she is really fond of you all." Kagura said. "Aren't she just like Haya-kun?"

"H...Hey!"

The four adults laughed, before Kagura diverted the topic. "So, since we've got a break for around half an hour, why don't we go somewhere?"

"Why not?"

"Uncle Haya! Aunt Kagi!" Suddenly a cheerful young girl's voice reached them. The adults (and the little girls) turned to see a red-haired girl with sky blue eyes running towards them.

Since the Nishinas had been living quite long in Japan, Hayabusa and Kagura instantly knew the girl, but probably for a certain elven pair, she might be a bit foreign.

Though, since she resembled someone they knew, they were easily deceived.

"I...Irithel? Is that you?" It was the female elf asking first. "H...How can you become human?"

The girl faced Miya confusedly, before realizing what she had meant.

"Irithel? How did you know about my mother?"

This froze the elven couple on the spot. They might not believe it but their ears didn't hear wrongly.

"M...Mother? S...So, you're Irithel's daughter?"

The redhead nodded.

"You know about this, Kagi?"

"Well, of course." Kagura replied. "Ever since the war had ended, we did come back to our homes. Some, however, decided to follow another. Irithel, for example, followed a man, now her husband to Japan, and started a family together."

"And, how did you know...em...what's your name, young lady?"

"Aomori." The redhead replied.

"Yeah, we met her when Irithel decided to visit us. I don't think she knew our address though, so that means the man which is now her husband told her." Kagura explained further.

"That's quite suspicious." Estes replied. "Who is this man who married Irithel? From what I remembered she hated humans outright, so it was a kind of impossibility that she married a human, let alone having a human-like daughter...

Kagura was going to answer, before Hayabusa took it over. "You can ask her yourself," as he pointed to the direction where a group of people could be found walking towards them. A group of four people, one was very familiar to the elf couple, both the appearance and the sound as she exclaimed something.

"Aomori, I know you're eager, but don't leave..."

Both eyes met. Both became speechless. Though Miya's the one to crack the awkward silence.

"I...Irithel!" Miya exclaimed as the said redhead approached her, the enveloped her in a hug.

"M...Miya? Is this really you? I can't believe we could see each other again really soon!" Irithel exclaimed happily.

Whilst the two ladies are having their time, the moon elf king noticed the man who had accompanied Irithel, and felt something familiar with his aura.

"Excuse me, but why do I feel that we have met before?" Estes asked the purple-haired man.

The said man knew about Estes' identity and quickly bowed on one knee. "Good evening. It is an honor for me to meet the great king of the moon elves in person. My name is Nishina Kazato, and as Your Majesty might suspect, we have met before in the jungle where Iri lived." Kazato said.

"King Estes, remember when you wanted to visit the jungle along with Miya and Nana, and you found a hooded suspicious man fighting a bunch of irresponsible blacksmiths, which allowed me and Leo to escape with you?" Irithel asked.

(This is of course an alternate plot.)

Estes thought for a moment, before finally remembered the said moment. "Ah, so you're that helpful stranger. As a friend of Irithel and Leo, I thank you for your aid back then."

"I don't deserve such thanks, but you're welcome, Your Majesty." Kazato replied.

"You know, your deeds had changed someone for good." Miya smirked. "Irithel was tortured by humans before and came to hate them since then. But, the fact that she became your wife means that you had changed her well."

"I agree." The man behind Irithel, which was quiet for a long time, spoke up. "Ever since Kazato had indirectly rescued Irithel and me, Irithel's thoughts about human was still negative, except for him. But after the Land became peaceful again, Kazato began to slowly change Irithel's sight about humans, by introducing many activities and proving himself that humans are not as bad as she think."

"I see..." Estes said. "Wait, when you said Irithel and you, does that mean you're Leo?"

"Right, yes he is" The purple-haired woman behimd Kazato replied. "Ever since Irithel and Leo lived together with Kazato and me, Leo also had better perspective on humans. Then, after a few years, Leo somehow got the ability to change into a form of human."

"Ah, that explains much." Estes replied. "By the way, I had never seen you before."

"Oh right, where are my manners?" The woman replied. "My name is Kitazawa Rikka, Kazato's step-sister, which made Irithel my sister-in-law." Rikka said. "An honor and pleasure to meet you, King Estes."

"The honor is all mine." Estes replied. "Though, I want to say three things. First, you don't have to bow and call me "King". You are relatives of Irithel so you are also a friend of mine." Estes said.

"Second, I want to thank you both for taking care of Irithel and Leo. And for Aomori, have you been a good girl for Irithel?"

"U...Um..."

"She did." Irithel happily replied as she hugged her daughter, making the younger blush.

"Then I also thank you as well, Aomori." Estes continued. "And third, we're going to run out of time if we just stood here. Let's go enjoy the festival!"

"Come to think of it, you're right. Let's go, everyone." Kagura, which had been waiting, spoke.

And so the group made their way around the festival.
