My heart is literally burning. 

If you haven't heard already, Carrie Fisher, the iconic actress who played Princess Leia in the Star Wars trilogy, passed away on December 27th. 

Now, I am just getting word that her equally- if not more- famous mother, Debbie Reynolds has passed away yesterday. 

Fairytakes, this is an utter bombshell to everyone. A day after her daughter's death, Reynolds goes to be with her. And I was just saying- yesterday, in fact- how crazy it was that Carrie is survived by her daughter and mother of 84 years. The family must be in deep mourning, my goodness.

The thing is, it's not that I'm entirely grieving their death- I didn't know them!- but rather I'm...thoughtful. It makes you think, y'know. There may only be three days left (or two days, the way you see it) in 2016, but so much can happen. And not to scare you or fear-monger you, but we are never guaranteed onto the next year, or even the next day. 

Smile a little brighter, get out there a little more, and strive for a more improved version of yourself each day. Live like you're going to drop dead tomorrow. Nothing is sadder that when your time is approaching, you look back, and all you did was waste your time.

Just be mindful of that.
