Hello again

VICKI GROANED AS SHE HEARD THE SOUND OF FIONA'S voice through the halls, alerting everyone it was time to get up. It was a daily routine for the kids to be waken up so abruptly but, the light eyed girl never exactly got used to it. She wasn't a morning person at all, and she wasn't about to start, not today.

It was no surprise that Debbie was already up and ready for the day. Five years younger, and the girl already had her shit together far better then both her older sisters. Victoria always chalked it up to the fact that some people are born ready for life, and some, like her, just weren't.

The Gallagher girl quickly launched herself out of bed and ran to the bathroom, catching it at the perfect moment to cut in front of her twin brother, Lip. She quickly slammed the door shut and let out a content sigh, making her way to the sink to lazily brush her teeth. Making it through the rest of her morning routine was somewhat of a blur, and within five minutes she was done with the bathroom.

"Took you long enough." Lip commented as his sister brushed past him, the girl rolling her eyes in response.

"Don't get your boxers in a bunch, asshole. Not like you have anywhere to be." Vicki shrugged, slowly holding up her middle finger.

"Actually, we both do, school. Need I remind you they require pants for entry?" The boy gestured to his sisters bare leg and held up his middle finger back as he walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

"Dick." Victoria made her way back into her room, spotting a pair of raggedy jeans on the floor. She picked them up, and hastily put them on before finding herself a black top from on top of the small pile of clothes she had laying on her bed.

She wasn't exactly ever the most organized, none of the Gallaghers were but, her especially.

"Electric!" That single word was yelled over and over from downstairs as Vicki pulled on her chunky black boots, light coat, and her favorite orange beanie.

She never went anywhere without it, because it just so happened to be the only thing that Monica  ever gave her personally, and call her sentimental but, Vick tried to remember the good times.

"Into the shit show I go." The girl mumbled beneath her breath, exiting her now empty room before she ran down the stairs.

With one swift motion, she snatched a small wad of cash from her jacket pocket, and dumped it into the bill jar.

"Thanks, Vic." Fiona spoke, sending her younger sister a slight smile. The two of them weren't exactly the closest. In fact, they weren't that close at all and constantly fought.

Still didn't change the fact that Victoria was a family girl, and she'd contribute however she could.

"Don't mention it." The light eyed girl shrugged lightly and grabbed a handful of off brand cinnamon toast crunch. "Carl, you put any in?"

"You know, you're almost nine. You are going to gave to start pulling your weight." Debbie commented, the rest of her siblings nodding along.

"A real job, not just dipping in the collection plate at St. Annes." Lip added on as he barreled down the stairs, snatching the box of cereal from his sisters hand.

"I say give all the little assholes at school shakedowns, bet their parents would just give em' the money right back." Vicki suggested, grabbing her bag from the back of one of the chairs in the kitchen.

"That's real nice, Vic." Fiona lightly rolled her eyes before continuing on. "I'm filling in for Candi so I can cover the rest but, somebody's gotta take Liam."

Each Gallagher sibling looked at each other awkwardly before Lip slowly got up and grabbed his twin sisters arm. "Can't, we have an algebra test."

"Yeah, even if I didn't, hard pass." Vicki spoke, gripping her bag tighter as her brother pulled her out of the house. "See you guys later,"

She didn't bother with an "I love you" or whatever else normal families say goodbye with because, she was a Gallagher, and well, they didn't need words to explain how they felt about each other.

VICKI NEVER LIKED WALKING ALONE BUT WITH IAN at work and Lip going to Karen's house for what she knew was something completely and utterly gross, she had no choice. Her hands were gripped tightly around the straps of her book bag as her hair blew backwards in the wind. The air was cold, and the Gallagher girl felt lucky she had her special orange hat to keep her ears warm.

"Yo, Gallagher!" An unrecognizable voice called out after her, the girl deciding to keep moving as quick as she could. She popped her earbuds in her ears and prepared herself to kick whoever this guy was in the balls if need be. "Yo, Gallagher. You deaf or somethin'?"

She felt her earbud get yanked out of her ear as a tall boy around her age stepped in front of her.

"Do I know you?" Vicki raised a brow as the other teen held up her water bottle, which must have fell without her knowledge. "Thanks."

"Dropped that back there." The boy paused for a moment, a look of surprise on his face at the question. "It's me, Alexei. Alexei Milkovich."

"No way you are Alexei." The Gallagher girl narrowed her eyes in on him lightly, trying to catch the resemblance. "You are actually clean."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Alex spoke as the girl walked around him and kept moving. He put his hands in his pockets and followed closely behind, intrigued by how uninterested she seemed in talking to him. "Feel like catching up?"

"Not really." Vicki replied with a shrug, not even glancing in his direction. "Don't you have anything else to do?"

"Me? No, not at all. My cousins just sit around and drink beer all the time." Alexei shook his head no, wearing a grin that the Gallagher girl tried to ignore. "Come on, what could you be doing that's more fun than hanging with me?"

"Sleeping." Victoria laughed slightly at herself, looking up toward the much taller teen. "I guess I could give you an hour or my time."

"You guess?" Alex raised a playful brow. "Thanks for fitting me into your busy schedule, Gallagher. I appreciate it."

"Anytime." Vicki bit back the blush rising in her cheeks, lightly shaking her head.

She knew this wouldn't lead anywhere good, and she was doing it anyways.

BAD DECISIONS SHOULD PROBABLY BE VICKI GALLAGHER'S middle name because well, all she did was make them. The night before, her bad choice was to sleep with Alexei Milkovich because well, he was a Milkovich. Today, it was letting her ex best friend Dario back into her life.

He wasn't a bad guy, in fact, he was a really good guy he just hung around all the wrong people. She realized that when she was held at knife point one night they were smoking in the park because Dario owed them money. From that day forward, she kind of vowed he wasn't the best to be around.

However, he was the only person she could talk to about anything, her only real friend.

"Long time no see, Tor." The Williams boy spoke with a sly smile, blowing away a puff of smoke. "I'm assuming you need something from me, weed? Fake ID? You name it, I got it for you."

Vicki chose to ignore the sass in his tone as she spoke, he had every right to be angry with her, she had been ignoring him, she had been a bad friend.

"I just need my best friend back." Victoria didn't have time for games, not with the way she was feeling.

Dario pushed himself off the wall he was leaning against with a concerned expression, his brows knit together. "What's the matter?"

"Just haven't been feeling like... me." Vicki smiled lightly as the Williams boy lit a cigarette and slowly handed it to her. "Thanks."

"That's cause you haven't had my fine ass around, sure you'll start feeling better in 3... 2..." Dario was cut off by the sound of someone's voice going off.

"We really have to stop meeting like this Gallagher." Victoria cursed beneath her breath when she heard his voice.

"Seems like you are stalking me." She retorted quickly, blowing a puff of smoke in the air.

"Not my fault you're always on the streets." Alexei wore his signature smirk as he made his way towards the pair of best friends.

"If you always see her out here, doesn't that mean you are too?" Dario spoke up, tilting his head to the side.

"Nice face tat, marking where all your boyfriends can go to town?" Alex's face seemed to darken at the Williams boys comment, both of them sizing each other up.

"Okay, that's enough for today." Vicki cleared her throat lightly. "I'll be back later, Dar. Let me take care of this."

"I'll be here." Dario replied, him and Alex not taking their eyes off each other till Victoria threw her cigarette on the ground and dragged the Milkovich boy away.

"It's there a reason you are actively seeking me out, Milkovich?" She questioned, pulling him along down the sidewalk until they were far enough away her friend wouldn't hear.

"Is there a reason you are being actively bitchy, Gallagher?" Alexei retorted, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"Because I don't want you getting any ideas. We slept together, once. That's all, we aren't friends, and we don't need to hang out." Vicki shrugged her shoulders. "I don't expect anything from you."

"Just figured we could actually hang out." The Milkovich teen commented, lightly bumping his shoulder into the girls with a smile.

Just as he asked, Ian and Lip came bursting out of Karen Jackson's house and down the street. Vicki let out a large sigh before rubbing her forehead, "Can't gotta go."

She had sibling duties to attend to, and didn't have the capacity to deal with whatever the hell Alexei Milkovich wanted.

AFTER LEARNING WHAT SHENANIGANS Lip and Ian were up to that afternoon, Vicki could confidently say they needed a serious reality check. One for Lip, who was obviously not able to accept his brother was gay, and for Ian who felt like he couldn't tell anyone. She hated that he felt like he had to hide it, but understood at the same time.

"Why the fuck did you make Karen Jackson give Ian a blowjob?" Victoria asked with a sigh and a light scoff. "It was never going to work."

"You knew he was... gay?" Lip's voice was completely full of shock as he spoke.

"If you didn't you're a blind fuck." Vicki let her feet guide her down the sidewalk, her hands stuffed deeply within her pockets.

"You didn't think of... I don't know, telling me?" The Gallagher boy questioned, tilting his head to the side to get a better look at his twin.

"None of my business to tell." Vick shrugged lightly, catching the glimpse of the time on a billboard clock. "Let's get this over with, gotta go see Dario, we were catching up and fucking Alexei Milkovich messed it up."

"The big looking fucker that's cousins with Mickey?" Lip raised a brow, not having heard the name in years.

"That's the one, better looking these days." Vicki half smiled at the comment, both twins laughing together at the same time.

"Just keep him out of the house, don't want to hear my twin sister fucking some rando off the street, especially one with a low iq and anger problem." The Gallagher commented as he approached the door to Kash' store.

The pair knocked and waited a few moments with absolutely no answer.

"Maybe they're around back doing inventory." Victoria tapped her brothers shoulder. "Let's go."

The two made their way around the building and into the back, dropping the bags they had meant to bring on the ground.

"Yo, Kash!" Lip yelled loudly, enough to get anyone's attention.

They looked around quietly, and after a minute, Kash came out with Ian following behind.

"You stack the butter, i'll stack the snacks." The older man instructed, the two of them fanning out, seemingly not noticing the twins that stood there waiting for them.

"Ahem." Vicki lightly cleared her throat, gaining the attention to the two hard at work males.

"Jesus, Vicki, Lip." Kash breathed out, dramatically placing his hand on his chest. "I didn't see you guys there."

"Yeah, listen man, thanks for the tools." Lip voiced appreciatively as he pointed at the bag on the ground.

"Anytime, as long as you bring them back." The older man nodded his head awkwardly, like he was hiding something. Vicki noticed that something as she pointed at Kash and Ian's socks that were mismatched.

"Are you fucking kidding me? You're fucking him?" Lip questioned.

A Gallagher, sleeping with a married man? Hm, not too much of a shock.
