Harry Potter is broken beyond repair. His eyes are trained on the past, still focused on everything that he lost, all the death that took place and all the life that can never be won back. Ginny still clings to the hope that someday her true love will reawaken - and maybe will finally love her back. Ron and Hermione have moved on, shaking their heads at the memory of their best friend. Now all that is left is a shadow.

Ten years have passed. Ten years since the famous Harry Potter vanquished the Dark Lord. Minerva McGonagall has taken over at Hogwarts, struggling to live in the shadow of the great late Dumbledore. When she decides to host a party commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Battle Of Hogwarts, everyone is shocked. A party? How can someone hold a party when the wounds of war are still so fresh? But despite the misgivings of the Wizarding community, the planning continues. The celebration is more than just a party. It's a memorial.

Everyone is equally shocked when they see the famous Harry Potter lurking in the shadows. They all assumed he would stay home - still living as a shell. He hates it. Hates the fact that people are laughing and dancing while blood still stains his hands.

Until he sees her. Floating across grass with a sorrowful expression on her face. Pulling people aside and telling them she's sorry for their loss, and what a great person their loved one was. Then gently pulling them over to the buffet table to get a bite to eat, or to the wide open fields to dance - helping them relax for just one evening.

Additional Information:

- Don't change Siara or Ashton's names. 

- Siara is either a Hufflepuff or  Ravenclaw. She's really sweet and very smart.

- She's a Healer, but she works kind of like a therapist.

- She's an orphan, she and her brother, Ashton, lost their parents during the war - so she understands Harry. She and Ashton are really close. He is two years older than her and was in Hufflepuff.

- Harry is depressed. He and Ginny are still together, but they don't get along. Ginny still clings to the hope that Harry will 'wake up'.

- Ron and Hermione have already had Rose. They are happy together, but are sad about Harry.

- This is an AU! It doesn't go along the timeline. Cursed Child and the Epilogue are being thrown out the window!

- McGonagall didn't want to host the party - she wanted a memorial service - but Slughorn and the other teacher convinced her to have it because everyone needed a break.

- Siara and Harry don't get along at first. Ginny meets her at the party and hires her to try to help Harry.

- Siara is very kind and sweet, but she can be snappy and doesn't put up with rudeness.

- A really good song for this is "You Will Be Found" from Dear Evan Hansen. That's pretty much Siara.
