Disclaimer: I only own Edie Abernathy, Ares Sevina, and any plot, that appears somewhat unfamiliar plot lines that you may not recognize.

Note; This story will have two alternating timelines until mockingjay; the first timeline follows a mix of the books and movies, while the second timeline, to begin with is set four years in the past. This timeline is sporadic, focusing on key aspects of both Ares and Edie's personality traits, showing how their past selves reflect on their current personalities. Ares is from district 2 and like his name suggests, his personality can be somewhat derived from the god of war, for the second timeline, Ares' mindset is that of a typical Career, which will eventually settle into that of his morally grey neutral mindset. ALSO I would just like to state here, that Edie is an Avox, just in case that hasn't been made clear, and thus her experiences as an Avox will be explored in this story. If this makes you uncomfortable please do not proceed, and I hope to keep this all correct, and if I do happen to make a mistake along the way just comment! I went to explore this aspect of the book as respectfully as I can as this is a perspective that isn't truly explored and I hope to bring it some justice.
