-Marco used to be in a relationship with a girl named Rachel, But broke up later on. The reason was because he found out she was dating him cause of a dare her friends made.

-After Marco found out, He and Rachel got into a fight which led to them breaking up afterwards. Including destroying the heart necklace he made for her.

-He was cyberbullied by two guys and two girls in his high school, and often teared up at the mean comments. Luckily, they got caught for their crimes and got detention for it and their parents apologized for it.

-He cried himself to sleep every night because of the hate comments. Sometimes whenever he was asked what was wrong, he would try to play it off and say there's nothing wrong.

-He used to have a friend named Henry, back at high school, but they weren't good friends he only befriended him cause he was rich and wealthy. After he found out why, he ended it and never talked to him again. (He doesn't wanna talk about it.)

-Part of the reason he left the football team was because of a guy named Walter. He was a football player who always made uncomfortable sexual comments to others, including Marco. Walter even tried to grope him after the season. He freaked out when Walter tried to take off his pants and kicked him down and beat him up to a bloody pulp, after he told the coach about it, he was expelled and put in jail for his crimes.

-He never told anyone about the football incident, not even Nick, Riya, Alec or even Clair. Only his family knew what happened and comforted him and even sued Walter for it.

-His High school past was why he wants Nick to stand up for himself to his parents and not be fooled by any more people like Cliffton or Alexander. For him, He doesn't want Nick to end up like him back in the past and in his terms. "So you won't ever have to take shit from other people, especially from those who won't return their love back to you."

Fun fact: I was listening to "Don't take shit from other demons" from SIWEL and ngl, It fits him and Nick the best.
