More Than Childhood Friends

May woke up and remembered what happened.

"Oh My Gosh, did we do it?" She asked herself.

And then she realized an arm was hugging her from the back, she turned around seeing Alfred giggles at her face, confused.

"Haha, you really are special." Said Alfred, who kissed her at the forehead and smiles.

"Did we-?" Asked May and Alfred suddenly replied.

"No!! Hahaha, no we didn't. But do you want to? I mean you fell asleep..." Said Alfred smirking at her.

May said:

"Ugh, it's almost 12 AM! You just snuggled me while I fell asleep when you kissed me on my cheek, you're too much of a jerk Alfred!"

Then May stood up and left his bedroom, she took her bag and left the house. After she left, she went home and her mom was waiting for her. And her mom looked pissed off.

"Where the hell did you go!?!?! It's 11:22 PM, get inside and go to bed NOW!" Said her mom.

2 Weeks later~

"May, I've been asking you since you and Alfred started to avoid each other and I thi-"

"That's still a no Carmela, I don't want to be grounded again for a week without my phone or my laptop!"

"Yeah I know, but at least now you have your phone. But you really need to talk to Alfred, you should go ask him if he's free tomorrow."

"Even though I feel weird when I see love birds like you guys, I feel bad about your relationship with him."

"Why would I?" Asked May to herself.

"Fine." She sighs.

"Ok, that's good to know." Said Carmela.

"You guys will be outstanding in the school again, and I'll support you no matter what happens." Said Carmela to herself.

Then May noticed that she and Carmela were near Alfred's table. Who look tired and didn't sleep well.

"Uhh, maybe next time" Said May to herself.

Weeks Later~

"Woah! May you got 47/50 in our quiz, that's awesome!" Said Carmela.

"Yeah, I guess so. I mean it's pretty normal for me, I never had a failing grade before so- yeah." Replied May.

"What did you get Carmela?" May asked.

"32/50, at least I passed it." She laughs.

"Ok, class dismissed. Don't forget about  next week's seat-work!" Said their English teacher.

After school~

Ring~ Ring~ Ring~

"The number you dialled is unavailable, please try later."

"Guess he's not going to answer, I've tried 8 times and no answered call from him." Said May to herself.
