"'Goodnight, (Y/N)!' she said."

---

The next couple of days came just like the last, and I couldn't stop thinking of Sans. I just can't wait until he comes back to school. Life has been much more boring without him. Since he's been gone, I've had more time to hang out with friends and meet new people. But, Sans is still my friend too, and I want to hang out with him too.

Luckily, it's Sunday, so he'll be back soon. Since it's the weekend, you know what that means.

Sleeping.

All.

Day.

So, I basically had some trouble sleeping at night because I was asleep all day, but it was fine, I did actually end up falling asleep.

I woke up the next morning, but I had more energy, because I remembered that Sans is coming back to school today! I quickly got ready and walked to school. I patiently waited and waited for Sans to come. All of the sudden, I saw a guy walking through a crowd of people; and he looked like― wait a minute... it's Sans!

I saw him starting to walk towards his locker, but I ran after him and hugged him.

"Sans, you're back!" I exclaimed. "Geez, kid. You must've really missed me." Sans said. "I did! You have no idea how boring it was here without you!" I replied. "Heh, well, I'm back now. Uh, do ya think you could let go of me now? You're kinda crushing me." Sans chuckled. "Oh, yeah, sorry!" I said as I let go of him.

I'm just really glad that things aren't weird between us since we both said we liked each other. But, what am I to him? Are we still just friends, or are we more than that? I'm not really sure. I'm just glad that I finally got to tell him.

The day went by pretty quickly. Sans ended up walking me home, just like how he used to. When we arrived at my house, Sans started to leave, but I stopped him.

"Wait," I said. "Uh, do you think that you'd wanna hang out with me at my house?"

"Sure, sound cool." Sans replied. "Alright, follow me." I smiled as I walked to the front door, unlocking it. I walked inside with Sans and closed the door behind me.

"Hi, honey! I see you have a 'friend' over." my mom greeted. "Mom!" I exclaimed. Sans chuckled. "I'm just joshin' ya, sweetheart." my mom replied. "Alright― wait, did you just say...?" I said.

"Yup! I'm trying to learn all the hip slang you kids are saying these days!" my mom smiled. Sans started bursting out laughing. "It's not cool when you say it!" I laughed. I couldn't help it, I just had to laugh.

After Sans and I stopped laughing, I took him to my bedroom.

"Sorry, my room's a little bit dirty right now." I said. "It's alright. Your room's a lot cleaner than mine." Sans chuckled. "So, do you wanna, like, work on homework or something?" I asked awkwardly. "Sure, we do have a couple of classes together." Sans replied.

The rest of the day, we talked and shared answers we got for our homework. Sans, of course, occasionally would make hilarious puns while we were working. After we finished our homework, Sans pulled his phone out of his pocket.

"Shit..." he mumbled. "What?" I asked. "Paps has called and texted me about ten times." Sans chuckled. "Pfft, he must be really worried." I replied. "Yeah, I should call him back. I'll be right back, (Y/N)." he said as he walked out of the room. I could kind of hear their conversation.

"Sans, where have you been?! I have been worried!"

"Sorry, Paps, I was hanging out with (Y/N)."

"Oh, that girl you really like?"

"What? N-No, shut up!"

"Nyehehe! Don't worry, brother! Your secret is safe with me!"

"You don't really have to keep it a secret, I already told her how I feel."

"Oh... well, then I'll try not to embarrass you next time she comes over!"

"Thanks, Paps."

"Anytime, brother!"

All of the sudden, I heard Sans starting to come into the room.
