Bixlow's P.O.V

Why does Laxus care what I think about his sister? Yes, she fucking drop dead gorgeous, and that's the problem.

What could people think if she was with a guy like me?

"BIXLOW"

I looked around until I realized Lucy was standing in front of me.

She's just the right height to be tucked under me. I shook my head, trying to clear all thoughts of her.

"Yeah Cheerleader", I asked, I knew she hated the nickname but I can't help it. I love watching her face turn red and her cheeks puff out.

"Okay Tin Face, can you go help the guys set up the rest of the beds"

I glared down at her.

"Don't call me Tin Face", I yelled as I walked over to Rip and Thud.

"Then don't call me Cheerleader", she yelled back.

Ripley and Thunder chuckled. 

"Shut up", I grumbled.

"Fine, but we heard something interesting", Thunder said. Ripley nodded, agreeing with his fellow dragon

"And what's that", I asked, not really caring.

"We heard you like a certain blonde", they said.

I growled in my head. Stupid dragons with their stupid hearing.

"Sorry Thunder, I'm afraid I don't swing your way"

"That's not what I meant dumbass. You know exactly who we're talking about", Ripley growled. Wow, the layback water dragon has a scary pissed off side.

"Fine, I like the cheerleader", I said, "So what"

"So what? Ask her out", Thunder said.

"Dude, did you not hear what he said to Laxus", Ripley said, his face going back to it usually lay back self.

"Of course I did", Thunder snapped at him, "I just think he needs a little push"

"Guys, it's not going to happen", I said.

"Dude, hear me out first okay", Thunder asked.

"Fine", I grumbled.

"Number 1, you're a Fairy Tail wizard. 2 you are one of the personal bodyguards of Laxus Dreyar. 3 you're well building. I saw you yesterday, it was an accident don't kill me. 4 you're loyal to a fault. That's what I heard Laxus say. And 5 you're, from what I've seen, both incredibly strong and supportive"

"What was the point of listening all those things", I asked, sitting on the bed. While Thud rambled we finish setting up as Lucy asked.

"We're simply trying to show you-you're not as bad a guy as you think you are"

"Thanks, but I doubt she could ever see me that way", I said.

"You'll never know unless you try", they said.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to eat dinner.

After a somewhat enjoyable dinner, I tried to go to sleep. But, I couldn't. After about an hour of tossing and turning, I got up an headed to the mouth of the cave.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one who couldn't sleep.

"Hey Lucy", I greeted as I sat down next to her. She looked at me and smiled.

"Hey Bix"

"Can't sleep", I asked. She shook her head and looked back up at the stars. 

“No, plus I heard somethings that make me feel, weird”, she said, her eyes still looking at the sky.

“What do you mean weird”, I asked.

“Well, I guess the only way to tell you is to say it bluntly”

“Go on then. I can handle it”, I said, she smiled and shook her head.

“I heard what you, my brother, Rip, and Thunder were talking about”, she said calmly. I could feel the color and blood from my face drain.

“Y-you wha-what”, I stuttered. She sighed and stood up, now towering over me.

“Bixlow you are a moron. If you ever think that I deserve better than you’re dumber than Natsu. I chose what, and who is good enough for me. I chose you, Bixlow. It’s you who is good enough”, she said, her face getting closer and closer with every word.

“Bu-but why”, I asked.

“For the love of-”, she rolled her eyes and smashed her lips against mine. It was over as soon as it happened.

“Lucy, WHAT ARE YOU DOING”, a voice yelled.

I looked behind Lucy to see it was Loke who pulled her away. Pure shock and disaproval across his face
