God, why did I agree to this, I thought as we made our way to the guild.

"You okay Happy", Lucy asked.

"Nervous", I answered.

"Don't worry. You don't have to win", she reminded me.

"Do you think Natsu will purposely lose so we reveal ourselves", I asked.

"I doubt it. You know he hates losing", Lucy replied.

"Guess you're right", I signed. Lucy smiled and hung her arm over my shoulder.

"You'll do fine", she said, kissing my forehead.

"Thanks, Lushy", I smirked and ran to catch up to Igneel.

"REMUS", she screeched. I laughed and shook my head.

Lucy's P O.V

"REMUS", I screeched, using, Happy's undercover name.

"What's wrong love", Bix asked.

"Remus", I growled, "called me Lushy again. Smug little bastard"

"Wow, he hasn't called you that in a while", Bixlow grinned.

"Only when he's really tired"

"Are you nervous", Bixlow asked.

"Bout' what", I asked.

"When H- Remus wins", he clarified.

"Honestly I'm terrified,'' I admitted.

"Why"

"I'm afraid to let them back in. To love them again like family. I'm afraid of being careful and coming off as bitchy. I'm scared of what they'll try and do", I confessed, my voice shaking.

Bixlow draped his arm over my shoulders.

"You'll be fine, love. I won't let anythin happen to you", he smiled. I smiled back nervously.

"I hope your right", I whispered.

Well of course he's right. He does love you after all.

"Dammit Cos, get out of my head", I yelled out loud.

"Only if you tell me when it happened,'' Cosmos bargained.

So when did it happen?

Last Christmas Eve

"WHAT", Cosmos yelled.

"What is going on with you two", Laxus growled, stopping and turning around. Everyone else stopped walking at looked at the two of us.

"Nothing. Your sister is just telling me some wonderful news", Cosmos answered innocently.

"Wonderful news", Ravena asked, raising an eyebrow.

"What did you tell her", Bixlow asked.

"The one thing I wasn't supposed to tell yet", I answered quietly.

"Which was", he pressed.

"I'm not telling you", I snapped and continued walking.

"He doesn't know", Cosmos asked, her jaw-dropping to the floor. I stopped walking, and without turning around I answered:

"No"

And continued walking to the field behind the guildhall. 

3rd P.O.V

Everyone watched as Lucy hurried off. Away from them.

"What the hell was that about", Laxus growled, getting angry at Bixlow (For no reason other than being his little sister's mate), and being scared for Lucy.

"Cosmos, what just happened", Thunder asked.

"I don't think I'm the one who should say anything. It's between her and Bix", Cosmos replied, stunned at the fact Lucy didn't tell Bixlow.

Laxus, keep your face neutral, Cosmos commanded.

Why

Because if you're going to explode at someone, it should be at Lucy. In private.

Cosmos, Laxus warned.

Bixlow marked Lucy, I don't know if on accident or not, and Lu hasn't told him.

Laxus' face paled.

When did it happen Laxus demanded.

Last Christmas Eve apparently

Laxus nodded and walked towards the guildhall, determined to get a valuable explanation.

Everyone stood in confusion as tension built between Cosmos and Laxus, beginning when Lucy walked off.

Everyone watched as Cosmos' face was plastered with guilt, and Laxus' face paled.

"What do you think she said", Em wondered out loud.

"Who, Lucy or Cosmos", Jay asked.

"Lu"

"I don't know"

"I do", Ravena said.

"Do you", Bixlow asked hopefully.

"Yes, and Cosmos is a bit of a hypocrite", Ravena answered, taking a snap at Cosmos.

"Why do you say that", Evergreen asked.

"Because she said it wasn't her place to tell. And yet, she told Laxus rather than telling Bixlow"

"Telling me what", Bixlow asked, frustrated.

"Last Christmas Eve, you marked Lucy",

Ravena's words rang through everyone's mind like a gong. 

Bixlow's P.O.V

Ravena's word echoed through me. I marked Lucy? How... how was this possible?

"BIXLOW", Laxus bellowed, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"What", I snapped.

"That's all you have to say you-"

"Can we fight over this later, we're late", Em asked nervously.

"Laxus, let it be for now,'' Freed said.

"But-"

"Drop it", Freed snapped.

Laxus huffed and glared at me before turning around and walking away.

"You okay", Em asked. I shook my head.

"No. Not even a little bit"

"How did it happen", Crystal asked.

"I have absolutely no clue", I replied, still not looking up.

"How do you not know", S.J asked.

"It is possible to mark a mate without their knowledge or permission. It's also possible for the dominant to mark their mate unknowingly", Ravena clarified.

"Bix, you might have a mark to", Thunder said.

"I doubt it"

"No, he's right, she may have marked you knowingly and in pure instinct you marked her back on accident", Rip said.

"But how could I tell? You know whether she marked me or not", I asked.

"We'll go into the bathroom. I'll check your back to see", Rip suggested.

"Alright. We'd better go. Em was right, we're gonna be late"

Everyone nodded and walked towards the guild hall, me trailing behind slowly.
