Angelica's POV

Peggy stood on the stage holding a mic. For one second, she said nothing. Then she started screaming over the music. "I know that we aren't very happy today! We are missing people, or we are hurt. But that is no reason to ruin our lives. This time will pass. I promise." Everyone stood in silence. No clapping, shouting, anything. But the miserable looks were gone for that night, and for weeks after. Things started to go back to normal.

Peggy's POV

People moved on from Eliza and Alex. Mariah was arrested. Herc and I stayed together, so did Angie and Laf. Angie's head healed. Things were normal-- Or at least close to it. One lingering thought stayed in my head, though. What about Eliza and Alex? Were they safe? Were they okay? Were they even alive? I had no way of knowing... But that was ok. I had to find my place in this school. And I think it was next to Angie. Not Theo. Angie, Herc :), and Laf. A double date every day.

I wasn't sure what life held in store for me, but I knew one thing. Going with the flow is not the calm ride people make it out to be. It's hard to go with everything all the time, and it's often not even the best option for you. Sometimes you need to stand up for what you know or believe in, regardless of the unknown that might come of it.

But sometimes you do have to go with the flow. Like with Eliza and Alex. There was nothing I could do, so I had to accept. I couldn't force them to come back. I couldn't even find them. I have to believe they would be okay, or put them out of my mind.
