The next few hours of hell went by pretty quick. Every chance I got, well, anytime I saw the little shit, I tormented him. This day was grand, though it was now lunch. I wonder if he’s going to actually be in the cafeteria… I thought as I made my way to the big cafeteria. Who knew a high school like this would need such a big one. 

    As I made my way into the cafeteria, I heard girls, and some guys, mumbling and whispering. I know, I know. I’m hot. I thought and chuckled. I continued to walk until I saw him; Alisair. 

    “Yo, Ace!” he shouted with a wide grin, which was as obnoxious as ever. “I can’t believe you actually came!” he chuckled.

    “Yeah, yeah. You begged me all summer when I was over,” I said and rolled my eyes. “I mean, even during--”

    “Shush. I don’t want everyone to know why I was so busy~,” Alistair gave a wink. “Besides! They don’t need to get jealous over what our friendship is like!”

    I laughed and punched his arm playfully. “You’re as flirty as ever, even when we’re at school.”

    “Oh, I’ll do more than just flirt, Ace,” he smirked.

    “Uh huh, sure you would,” I said in a joking way. He wouldn’t do THAT here, would he? I shook my head at the thought. “Y’know what, I don’t wanna know if you would.”

    “Your loss!” he snickered.

    We sat there and talked for most of the time. That was until that little shit showed up. Turns out that they are friends. Alistair had told me over the summer when that demon would constantly text him. Bothered the mood, dickwad. I was getting laid by the horny bitch. I thought and grumbled. My gaze went to the other people around until my attention was brought back into the conversation between the two friends. I raised a brow as I looked at the smaller demon.

    “Alistair told me a lot about you back when it was summer,” I said rather calmly.

    “O-Oh… that’s nice,” he said as he sat across from us.

    “Ace! My man!” a familiar, loud voice said.

    I turned my gaze to the voice and chuckled. It was no other than Adam, the quarterback of the football team. The guy was a MAJOR player to all the girls, and maybe some of the guys too. I was zoned out most of the time he talked, only because I didn’t care who he fucked over summer or whatever. I nodded and pretended to listen to the dumbass. Though… my gaze was on Korben. 

    “Which period do you have P.E?” Adem asked.

    I raised a brow and pulled my crumpled up schedule out of my pocket. I looked at it for a bit. “My last one. What about you?” I asked and looked at him as his lips grew into a huge smile.

    “Really!? So do I!” he said loudly.

    I opened my mouth to say something, but the bell rang. Lunch had ended. Fucking great… I thought and gathered my things. I watched as the purple haired demon walked away. He didn’t even pay attention to Alistair.

    It was finally the last class of the day, and quite frankly, I couldn’t help but smile. Time to tease him. I thought. Back when it was summer, Alistair told me about Korben, and how that demon was into guys. This is the perfect opportunity for me to mess with him. I waited for Adam and we walked into the gym, but, to tease the little shit, I walked in shirtless. I glanced around once I entered and noticed he was staring at me until his friend got his attention. I smirked. Wonderful. Maybe he’ll tell Alistair what he thought. I blinked a few times. Why would I care what he’d think? I mentally slapped myself.

    “Dude, why are you staring at that dork? Don’t tell me you like him!” Adam said and crossed his arms.

    “Um. No. Why would I like someone like him?” I asked as I looked at him. “He’s nothing but a shithead. Just an annoyance… just an adorable demonic annoying little shit.” 

    “Adorable, ey?” he growled.

    “I didn’t-- No! He’s not!” I yelled at him, but my face turned a light red. “I didn’t mean to say ‘adorable’ there!” I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest. “I would NEVER think of him as adorable!”

    “Uh huh,” Adam rolled his eyes. “You high or drunk, or whatever?”

    “No,” I rolled my eyes. “Listen, stop being a douchebag for one goddamn minute. Okay? It slipped!” I snapped. Why is this annoying me so much? I thought.

    “Whatever,” he growled and walked off to join his team in one of the corners.

    I sighed heavily and ran a hand through my hair. Fucking hell… I thought and went to sit in the locker room. I pulled my shirt back and waited for the bell to ring. After a while of waiting, there the bell was. I hurried off and left the school. Maybe he’s a little adorable…
