Summary- Linguistics professor Louise Banks (Amy Adams) leads an elite team of investigators when gigantic spaceships touch down in 12 locations around the world. As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew must race against time to find a way to communicate with the extraterrestrial visitors. Hoping to unravel the mystery, she takes a chance that could threaten her life and quite possibly all of mankind.

Would y'all like it if I started adding movie trailers in these chapters?

The CGI in this blew me away (except for a couple scenes involving Amy Adams' hair). The aliens weren't like anything in any other alien movie I have seen before. Very unique take on the design, language, and purpose for coming to earth.

This was so much more than a regular old alien invasion movie. Rather than toms of action packed scenes, this movie was more of a mystery. Why are they here? That's the big question. And the answer was something I totally did not see coming.

The twist was beautiful and unexpected. The ending is very bittersweet. I will definitely be watching this again.
