Summary: On the lush alien world of Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

Genre- sci-fi adventure

This was my first time watching this movie. I know I'm super behind, but when I lived with my mom it was hard to watch any movie she didn't like. And she didn't like this movie.

But I really want to see Way of Water, so in preparation I needed to watch this first. And WOW. I knew this movie was revolutionary when it came to animation and CGI, but I was still shocked at how utterly beautiful it is.

The world of Pandora is vast and beautiful and so much more complex than I thought it would be. A+ on the world building.

As usual, Zoe Saldana slayed this role. She's the perfect Neytiri. I also have a major crush on Jake Sully.

This was a fantastic movie. I can't wait to watch the sequel!
