The trailer for this blew me away. Between that and all the 5 star reviews I saw, I had very high expectations for this film.

I'm very happy to say that I enjoyed this movie! The characters were well written and believable. The dialogue was very different from what I expected. The grammar mistakes in the characters' speech seems to have been an artistic choice, and I enjoyed it.

Found family is one of my favorite book/movie tropes and this movie had it! Loved it!

I do wish that the Red Bluster had a little more detail. Her design was sleek almost like a dolphin's but I kind of wanted more detail like with the beast featured in the photo below.

About halfway through the plot started to feel very familiar and that's when I realized it shared many similar themes with How to Train Your Dragon.

I give this movie a solid 7/10. Loved the animation, story, and characters, but I found it to be similar to httyd and a little predictable.
