Rebuild:
It all begins with Gohan waking up in his home from a typical alarm clock. He turns off the alarm and stretches as he wakes up as the sun rises brightly from outside his window. He does about 100-600 pushups/sit-ups/squats all at ounce with his rapid speed, reads some books of Shakespeare, meditates to keep his mind at ease, and takes a morning shower in the bathroom. He gets dressed and heads downstairs just in time for breakfast, heading straight into the kitchen where he is met with his mother, Chichi, making a small feast of breakfast. They both happily greet to each other, as Chichi is happy that Gohan will be going on his first day of school with Gohan sharing her excitement. Chichi asks him to go wake up his brother and Gohan obliges, approaching his younger brother's room to see him sleeping underneath the covers with loud snores. He throws them off and managed to wake him up by rolling the small saiyan boy, Goten, off the bed.

Goten fell flat on the floor and woke up in pain from Gohan rolling him out, the boy wanting more sleep and tired while asking what he did that for. His older brother tells him to wake up early more often if he didn't like waking up like that. Otherwise he wouldn't have their mother's delicious breakfast meals in the morning, causing the young boy to suddenly jolt up in glee at the sound of Chichi's food before running out the room in his pajamas. Gohan could only chuckle, as Goten always reminded him of their father. Soon after he finished his breakfast, he left the house with his bag of school supplies and flew to Satan City using the Nimbus Cloud (both to head there faster and so no one could see him flying in the sky).

During the last 7 years, he has taken his mantle as Earth's true defender seriously and trained occasionally to keep himself in shape, sharpening his own skills and form of combat (reminiscent of his father and Piccolo) incase the world would be in danger in the future. While things have been quiet for a long time, he always had a strong feeling that Earth would be in danger, regardless of how impossible it might've seemed. He could even feel his saiyan instincts urging him to fight every ounce in a while. But while he did this, he made sure to keep his powers secret and prepared to defend the planet incase a new evil appears. However, because of his habits, he wasn't exactly stronger than his teenage self back then. In fact, he trained hard enough to at least keep his current level exactly as it was from the Cell Games, mostly due to plenty of reasons he could come up with. And most of them being excuses. After arriving to the high school, he is introduced as a transfer student, already gaining the attention from several high schoolers as done in the original anime. He does a whole bunch of things while trying to contain his Super strength and Saiyan abilities such as playing baseball, track, etc.

However, the only difference here is that there was no robbery during his trip to the school. I mean, of course there was, but Gohan never went Super Saiyan because he found it unnecessary to use 50 times his base power to stop a simple group of weak crooks from stealing money. Instead, he used Rapid speed to apprehend them and left before the authorities and citizens could get a clear view on who the mysterious hero was. It's happened multiple times and Satan City could only codename him, the "Speeding Warrior." A black haired girl with ponytails named Videl, didn't get suspicious upon seeing Gohan for the first time in high school. In fact, she barely talks to him and uses her defensive/stubborn but calm ego to sway him aside whenever Gohan tries to socialize with her.

Her identity behind just her name seems mysterious, the audience having no idea who she is and what's so important about her. She would barely suspect a thing about Gohan despite doing what seemed to be an impossible home run ounce during baseball practice. Instead, she believed as just some newbie in the school, a simple nerd with a lot of luck. Nothing more. This would continue to be her beliefs of him until she is stopping a bank robbery one time and spotted the "Speeding Warrior." Only this time, she managed to catch a glimpse of him and noticed that he had black hair. And very similar clothing to what the New kid wore in School. This caught her attention, as she knew clearly well she'll get to the bottom of this.

Now as done in the original, she would find Gohan after School (without any of the crap filler episodes such as Gohan rescuing a pterosaur) and only this time, instead of interrogating him, she attacks him. She throws a few solid hits, leading him to dodge them with relative ease. She ordered him to fight back, but he downright refused and kept dodging her attacks, trying to have Videl stop much to his shock of a citizen going as fast as Krillin and other Human Z Warriors, while Videl like he was holding back . That was when he rapidly sped to avoid her attack and reappear behind her to knock her out with a karate chop, only for the Girl to spin and block his attack with her arm, surprising Gohan further.

Out of anger and frustration, she shouts with a sudden rapid combo, causing Gohan to dodge even harder with more than enough power he usually used as the "Speeding Warrior." He tries to tell her to stop attacking, as he doesn't want to knock her out as they were possibly causing a scene. But Videl wasn't letting up. As she was about to deliver the finishing blow after she managed to knock Gohan out of his defense, Gohan rapidly sped and reappears behind to strike at the back of her neck, sending her crashing into the ground.

As Gohan landed on the ground, he sighed in relief, as it was quickly over but didn't waste any time in rushing over to the girl's aid. Hoping he didn't use too much force, he held her up and turned her over her back to see if she was injured. Only to be punched in the face and kicked back as Videl jumped with a karate kick, landing immediately in her own stance. The Saiyan would back away, holding his nose as he groaned in pain and finally ask why she's attacking him.

Videl would only smirk and got out of her stance, standing normally as she replied that all she did was testing him, seeing if he was innocent and not the "Speeding Warrior." And from what happened just recently, he failed. Shocked and surprised of what he just did, blew his cover, he quickly bowed and begged her not to tell anyone. The black haired girl simply responds that she's quite surprised herself, having expected him to drop the innocent nerdy kid act and have more of a personality like a serious or stern cold personality like most heroes in the books.

This disappointed her and she admitted it, insulting Gohan as everything kept changing for the worse in his eyes. She questioned him about his real identity, what he is and where he came from as she is completely aware that someone stronger than her is clearly not human, especially when he's stronger and faster than even her. Despite Gohan being humiliated and forced to reveal the truth in fear of her spilling the beans to the public, he gives out a sigh and stands up to explain that she's right. He isn't human, at least not completely thanks having a human mother, leaving Videl to raise an eyebrow at this.

Later, they would both be on the roof of a building and he would explain a brief summary. Where he was born on Earth as part alien and part human, his father being an Alien Warrior who came from another planet as an infant, who bumped his head and lost all of his memories of his home world and savage instincts his race would gain from the days of their birth, thus leading him to being raised on the planet as a fighter and defending the world from many evil foes. As of this day, he sacrificed his life to stop the most recent foe, Cell, but died in vain and he as a teenager, had to defeat him to save the world the day the Cell Games took place. And ever since, he's been doing his best to take his father's mantle as the world's protector.

Videl takes a moment to think about this, as she is shocked to hear that everything.. All of the suspicions she had all her life, all the questions she would think that made her stay up at night, all of the things she wondered about.... Has come true. Not only did supernatural fighters did indeed exist (from the secret salvaged footage she took from the news network that had the reporter and cameraman in the Cell Games), but so did the real fighter who defeated Cell and not her father, making her angry that all her life, she was living under false glory and her father living his life under a lie. A huge, big fat... Lie.

Gohan knows this is hard for her, so he tries to show some comfort for her loss of pride. However, Videl shrugs this off and declares what she wants from him. If she is to never reveal the truth, he will train her to build up immense power of her own to become greater than she is now. Although he believes it might be difficult to train her all kinds of things he knows before they can get to training to strengthen their power, he accepts this regardless.

Meanwhile, Goten would leave his home during the noon without her mother noticing and fly straight to the woods where a certain family friend is meditating. Ounce he reaches there in his purple training gi, he finds the Namekian, Piccolo, floating a few feet above the ground in meditation. His mentor would stop meditating, as he stood up and turned to say, "Took you long enough. What's your excuse for coming here late, this time?"
Although a bit embarrassed that he failed to arrive on time, Goten gave out one of his usual reasons.

Homeschooling with his mother, Chichi and failing twice at leaving the house to train with him. Despite the usual issues of never coming at the right time, Piccolo knew it wasn't a big deal and lets it slide for his protege. He asks the boy to prepare himself for combat and soon enough, they both would prep for a sparring match. The only thing Piccolo thinks about before they begin, is that how Goten, despite acting like his father, might be different when it comes to his love for fighting. While he does have a fond for fighting, he seems to have a serious goal in getting stronger. Perhaps his instincts urging to compete? Who knows, but for now, he'll worry about training him.

Meanwhile at Capsule Corp, Bulma would be smoking as she is busy talking to her mother, Panchy, having spent some time socializing on a basic Sunday. At least she hears a call from a young voice and some footsteps going down the stairs was heard. The boy running downstairs is revealed to be Kid Trunks, the son of Bulma and Vegeta. His mother would put down the cigarette on the ash tray laying on the coffee table and get up as he asks if he could train with his father. She would asked if he finished his homework, leading him to quickly nod and sigh, knowing he's mostly like his father than her. She accepted this, making him run out the house in excitement and head straight for the Gravity Chamber out in the backyard.

Vegeta, is seen drinking some water after having exercised in 500 turns Gravity, with Trunks coming inside to ask if he could train with him, as he's more than determined to get stronger than he already is, despite being more than five times stronger than his father's younger self during his old planet-conquering days. Although he knew the boy was far too young and weak compared to him, he decides to let him try anyway and ounce they were ready, he activated the Gravity Chamber, causing Trunks to start struggling in even his movement. The Prince warns him this would happen, but the boy refused to give up. He would train harder than ever and he was far from backing down now.

With all three preparing to train themselves as well as Gohan training Videl for the Tournament, out far in the middle of nowhere, a crack appears from the ground. Growing larger by the second, scaring off a gecko until suddenly, the entire area explodes from a explosive wave. The flashing light from said wave faded, revealing a massive crater with over 50 feet below. A silhouette slowly floats out of the crater, hovers over the untouched ground, and lands softly on his feet. "Well, it has certainly quite been some time since I've been on this pathetic planet. Wouldn't you say so.... Nappa?" The evil menacing voice says with the silhouette revealed to be none other than Raditz, back from the dead and returned to bring revenge upon his enemies.

A much larger figure flies out of the crater and lands beside him, revealed to be Vegeta's former comrade, Nappa. The tall saiyan would cackle in evil laughter, confident in his abilities to seek revenge on the one responsible for his demise, both warriors having strange M letters on their foreheads. "No kidding! Low class Saiyan or not, we're both going to take down those weaklings and traitors who put us in Hell in the first place!"

"Couldn't agree with you any more. Now....." Raditz turns his head to the side, having gained the ability to sense ki and was currently finding some recognizable ki signatures. "Let's go show them a visit."
