Manik looked at Nandini and said "what's the problem with this?"

Nandini groaned and said "right! Why will you see problem in this!"

Manik looked at her and turned his attention to files. "I still don't see a problem, Nandini."

"Manik, I am going to get engaged in a week and you don't see a problem with this engagement?" Nandini sneered at Manik making him look at her seriously.

"Well you are marrying me, not some other guy. I am the one marrying you, so I don't see the trouble." Manik said before going towards Nandini and making her sit down.

"well, I have a problem with that." Nandini told him as she stood up to be pulled and made to be sat down again.

"what is the problem?" Manik sighed.

"The problem is nobody asked me my wishes! You never proposed and I never said yes and-and..." Nandini listed her main problem before collapsing on the sofa deadly tired.

"you got it. Anything else?" Manik said and looked at Nandini who gave out a groan and ran out of office shouting 'never date.'

'idiot.'

Manik looked at the door and just sighed realising how idiotic that was.

"everything's ready?" Manik asked as he picked the phone to call his event manager.

"yes, sir but there's some trouble as we are unable to get 10,000 flowers you ordered..."

"you want the job; I want the flowers." Manik said and hung up. If he can't bring the roses that his love likes, then dropping all the business isn't a bad idea.

"My mom and sister want to meet you and they will be coming today. Are you fine with it?" Manik asked Nandini as soon as he saw her.

Nandini looked at him and shook her head "I don't have any problem."

Manik looked at her, moved to hug her from side and put his head over her shoulder. Nandini felt his breath as soon as he came close, her heart pumped while she felt his anatomy too. She wondered if her heart was hers still or has moved for him. She felt all the weird feelings that she understands now.

The love she felt for him.

The love he gave to her.

The love that gives her all these vulnerable feelings.

The love that she craved.

The love that she wanted.

The love she is scared of.

The love that makes her feel all the fear.

Nandini looked at Manik and a tear fell from her eyes.

Manik who had his eyes closed didn't noticed that and said "I am sorry, I understand you and I apologize for that. Nandini, I am desperate to make you my family and you are precious to me. So precious that I can't let go of you. I feel scared to lose you. I love you."

Nandini shuddered as she inhaled and listened to Manik, she wasn't sure if she is happy ro sad or shocked or surprised or just... confused. There's only one thing she is sure about and that is Manik's love.

She didn't turn towards Manik as she touched his hands and held them. She whispered lightly over the air as her breath shuddered and Manik turned to stone.

"I love you too, I want to marry you."

Manik's eyes widened but his grip on her never loosened and suddenly his lips curled into a smile of the year, his eyes had tears but he didn't care and let them slide down his face.

"say it again, please, Nandini. god, please repeat it." Manik said as he turned her around holding her so close that Nandini felt like she could mis herself in him.

"I love you. Manik Malhotra, I love you so much."

"again!" Manik shouted as his hands pulled her into him more and more. Nandini opened her mouth to whisper the same words while Manik whispered "say it till it is written inside me, till it's carved, till I can't breathe without them. Till I don't care about anything but you."

Manik bend his head and his lips touched hers. A fire lip up inside them as his hands roamed her and he picked her up "I am never letting you go."

Nandini who revelled the kiss was in a haze and just let him do what he wants.

Afterall, it's the CEO whose wishes are always completed and damn her, if she didn't let him complete this wish of his.

Nandini looped her arms around his neck as she initiated the kiss and Manik wrapped her into him as he kissed happily. The passion in them burned for each other, they didn't know what they were doing but the fire wasn't calming, it was burning deep and hot. Nandini felt every touch, graze and scratch as Manik kissed and bit her.
