No one said anything during the car ride. Not a peep.

Melody and I sat in the back. Melody in the left side and, I on the right side. Our hands in our laps. Alice was in the front seat, her fingers drumming on the side of the car. Tap, tap, tap, tap, quickly her fingers tapped. Max was driving down the roads.

Snow was covering the roads all over. It wasn't really snow at points. More like grey mush. Mush that was splattering everywhere.

We arrived at Melody's house. No cars were in the drive way. Alice hopped out of the car and rung the doorbell. She waited outside. Max got out of the car and went to the back door.

I turned my head towards Melody, once Alice and Max were away.

"She's not home." Melody stated. She stopped talking for a few seconds, that turned into a long minute. I motioned with my hand for her to keep talking.

"Well, you see," Melody giggled. "Mina got herself a boyfriend. One that I'm not sure my parents would like. I made a deal with her when I found out, that if she drove me around, I wouldn't tell." Melody said. I shook my head.

"She's at his house right now." Melody said. Alice and Max came back to the car.

"No answer." Alice said.

"Same here." Max said, for the first time today.

"Melody text your parents that she isn't home." Alice said.

"I'll come check here later." Max volunteered.

"No, I'll go." Alice said.

"I'll go, you can say home with Kyle and Melody." Max insisted.

"They came come along." Alice debated.

"You guys act too much like adults." Melody butted in. Alice and Max turned their heads towards Melody.

"I'm not kidding. You guys should like go to a movie or something." Melody said. "Tonight. Kyle and I can stay home alone. You guys can go check if Mina got home, or if she's on the flight, or what ever. I'll call my parents and ask if they have any news." Melody insisted.

"I guess we could do that." Max said, looking at Alice.

"I need some time off." Alice said.

"So, Miss Alice Forest, would you do the honors of going on a date with me?" Max asked.

"I would be honored." Alice said.

"Ahhh, they're so cute." Melody said to me. I rolled my eyes.

I know it's a short chapter, but it's midnight here and I'm still writing. So, I'm tired and I'm going to bed because it's a school night.

Also, I'm not going to post on the weekends usually anymore. Or during large breaks. I usually go away, and I don't have wifi connection a lot of the time, so I can't publish any chapters.
