Personality:

Robin, usually, is a kind and pleasant male. He believes that everyone should be treated how they treat others so as long as you don't act like a jerk in front of him, he'll be just fine towards you. If you're a jerk though... He'll be a jerk right back to you until you've learned your lesson... And maybe a little longer if you really pissed him off.

He tends not to be the ones to start conversations. Robin lets his art do most of his talking for him, though obviously he can't avoid talking all together. He tries, but he always ends up having to reply to one thing or another.

Current residence:

A fairly big house on a ranch with his family

Occupation:
Student

Backstory:

Robin has grown up on his parents ranch his entire life. The second of six children, he never needed to go looking for company. If anything, Robin usually had to look pretty hard to find a place to be alone. He's always liked quiet little hidy holes, they were good places to read when he was younger and when he was older they became nice places to paint.

Though his family is extremely well off, most people don't expect that to be the case. When he told the other kids that he lived on a ranch, most of them pictured him as some poor farm boy. He was relentlessly teased for it, though he never bothered to correct any of them. Robin just found ways to tease them right back, and soon enough they decided against teasing him.

In middle school, Robin took painting as an elective. At the time, he didn't know he liked it, or that he had a natural talent for it. He just thought it would be an easy A. That class was where he'd met a girl named Cassidy. She was pretty much your typical Hot Topic, artsy middle school girl, and she took a liking to Robin immediately. His snide comments in reply to teasing made her laugh, and she adored the way he painted.

And, after a few weeks, Robin grew to like her too. Cassidy quickly became his best friend, and by their freshman year, they were going out. Robin was pretty obsessed with her, painting Cassidy every chance he got. She thought it was flattering, obviously.

But, Robin has all those paintings locked away in a closet in his attic now. He doesn't bring up Cassidy's name either. It's just easier to pretend like she never existed.

It's a well known fact around school that Robin Newman only paints attractive people. If he doesn't find you attractive, he'll refuse to paint you flat out.

Nobody is sure when the when it started, but somehow anyone Robin painted suddenly because part of the popular crowd. It didn't matter how low on the social list they were before, if Robin painted them they were considered attractive and popular.

On the flip side, if people found out he refused to paint you, the exact opposite happened.

You were the most popular kid in school. People practically worshipped you, as they should. You were rich, hot, and just generally amazing.

But, Robin had never once offered to paint you. He'd never once even bothered to speak to you. It was honestly pretty offensive.

The more you thought about it, the more you figured that he was probably just too shy to approach you.

And so, after school you went to the art room. Everyone knew that's where he spent most of his time, so if he was in the building that was the best place to look.

Robin was there as expected, painting. You made your way over with your usual smug expression.
"I give you permission to paint me. Go ahead and take advantage of the offer immediately."

He didn't even look up at you.

What do you do now?
