Long ago, at the time of the Han Dynasty, it was nighttime in all of China. Imperial guards were at their night shift, scouting at their respective positions on the Great Wall in case of intruders attacking.

Mighty the Armadillo was currently strutting at his assigned area where suddenly, something knocked off his helmet. Looking up, he saw that it was a mean-looking Honchcrow. Mighty was a bit confused on why it did that to him, until it uttered a shriek, signalling something. Suddenly, Mighty heard a whooshing sound as a four pointed grappling hook fastened itself by the wall. When he looked down, more hooks came out to fasten by the wall.

Mighty was shocked and hurried to the guard post. "We're under attack! Light the signals!" He tried to warn the others, then suddenly, more of the Huns came in. Mighty gasped and quickly ran up and shimmied up the ladder. "Hragh!" One of the Huns chopped off the ladder that Mighty was on, but he managed to climb to the top.

He grabbed the nearby torch and was about to light up the signal beacon when suddenly, a Hun landed at the other side of it.  Mighty's eyes widened in shock at the sight, as the Honchcrow landed on his arm. He assumed that it was the leader, dressed in nothing but fur coats and loosely sewn leather armor, with a twisted sword by his left hip. Mighty quickly lit up the signal beacon, letting the fire rise up. The leader watched as more of the signals lit up at every guard tower.

"Now all of China knows you're here!" Mighty glared at him. Unfazed, the leader then grabbed the nearby imperial flag and let it be scorched by the flames of the signal beacon. "Perfect." He smirked, letting his plan unfold.

At the Emperor's palace, Shadow the General entered with two of his men to see Emperor Chuck. They then knelt or bowed in respect of his presence. "Your Majesty! The Huns have crossed over the Northern Border!" Shadow declared. "Impossible! No one could get through the Great Wall!" Dr. Finitevus exclaimed, but the Emperor raised a hand, silencing him for awhile. "Mephiles is leading them." Shadow spoke grimly, making Emperor Chuck think deeply. "We'll set up defenses around your palace immediately!" "No." The Emperor stood up. "Send your troops to protect my people. Finitevus!" "Yes, your Highness." He bowed his head to him.

"Deliver conscription notices throughout all the provinces, hole up preserves, and many new recruits as much as possible." The Emperor instructed. "Forgive me, your Majesty, but I believe my troops can stop him." Shadow told him. "I won't take any chances, general. A single grain of rice can tip the scale. One man may be the difference between victory and defeat." Emperor Chuck spoke with wisdom, for which Shadow bowed his head slightly in understanding.
