Summary

Michael tried to find a way to confess his love to Jeremy. When he gets help from Christine,(the ultimate wingman) he finds out that Jeremy loves the song 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift, he knows what he wants to do.

Christine tells Jeremy Michaels plan, and he finds a way to duet with Michael. Because Michael loves nightcore, especially switched vocal ones, he found one that would suit him well.

Michael winced as the red velvet curtains opened and the bright fluorescent lights beamed onto him.

He smiled nervously as the crowd in front of him whooped and cheered and clapped.

"Hello Westerburg High!" Michael said, waving. "So, I guess I'm here because I'm singing a song." He paused as the crowd went wild. They were quite proud of their singing prodigy. "And I'd like to dedicate this song to Jeremy Heere!"

Michael slowly started to gain confidence as he glanced to the side, where Jeremy (and Christine) were, cheering him on. When he caught his eye, Jeremy did a quick thumbs up.

"I guess I better get started." Michael said. After a few seconds of clapping, the music started playing.

Michael took a deep breath in.

"We we're both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes, and the flashback starts

On a balcony in summer air"

Michael sang. He looked to the side, where he saw Jeremy with a mic. He stared in confusion, before snapping back into song.

"S-" He started. Before he could get in a word, he heard an angelic voice start singing for him.

See you make your way through the crowd

Little did I know.."

Jeremy walked into the stage and stood beside Michael, who stared in shock and confusion at his best friend. Michael soon knew that they were going to do a duet, and he knew the lyrics to the girls parts.

The crowd gasped as Jeremy walked onto the stage, and stared in awe at his voice. Michael snapped out of his shock soon enough and stared into Jeremy's eyes as he started singing.

"Cause you were Romeo
You were throwing pebbles

'Stay away from Juliet!'"

Michael sang, with Jeremy joining him on the last word.

Michael couldn't think.

All he thought was: Jeremy.

Jeremy Heere.

His deep blue eyes, his curly brown hair, his freckles, his acne-covered skin.

Jeremy couldn't stop staring at Michael.

No, really, he couldn't.

He just kept thinking about Michael. His dark brown, messy hair. His smooth bronze skin, his dark eyes, his long lashes.

Michael. Michael. Michael.

"And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you," Michael sang, staring at Jeremy.

"Please don't go!" They both sang in perfect harmony.

Baby just say.." They sang, not even caring that they had an audience.

"Yes." Michael said softly.

"So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet, cause we're dead if they knew" Jeremy thought back to the time where Michael was banned from seeing him, so Jeremy snuck into Michaels room and they played AOTD. He smiled.

"So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while- ile" Jeremy sang.

"Oh- oh
Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said,
'Stay away from Juliet!'"

Michael couldn't stop singing. He was trapped in his own world, with Jeremy and himself. No one else. Jeremy knew exactly when to join in with Michael.

"But you were everything to me
I was begging you." Michael loves Jeremy. That was the moral of the story.

Michael loves Jeremy.

And Jeremy loves Michael too.

"Please don't go!

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone

It's a love story baby just say yes." The two sang angelically, leaving the crowd awestruck at the two love birds on the stage.

Jeremy took matters into his own hands and took Michaels free hand in his, holding the microphone in the other.

He spun Michael around, smiling and looking at him in affection.

"Romeo, save me!
Their trying to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's re-eal!" They both started dancing slowly around the stage, looking at each other with absolute love.

"Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess!
It's a love story, baby just say yes..." Jeremy sang louder on this part.

His face turned sad as he thought back to the SQUIPcident, and how he left Michael alone.

He couldn't live without Michael.

"I got tired of waiting." Jeremy said, taking Michael into his arms. "Wondering if you were ever coming around.
My faith in you was fading...
When I met you on the outskirts of town
And I said." Jeremy sang, putting all the emotion in his voice and looking down at Michael, resting their foreheads together.

Michael looked up at him with a mirroring expression.

"Romeo, save me!
I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said..." Michael sang, not expecting Jeremy to actually get on one knee and take out a ring.

But Jeremy did.

"Promise me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone.
I love you and that's all I really know!
I talked to your mom, now pick out a fine suit
It's a love story, baby just say..." Jeremy looked up at Michael.

Michael has tears running down his face as Jeremy held out the promise ring.

"Yes!" Michael said, and jumped into Jeremy's arms. Jeremy spun Michael around, crying too. He slipped the ring onto Michaels finger.

The audience started clapping and whooping at the cute couple on the stage. The two didn't care.

All they cared about was:

Michael. Michael. Michael.

Jeremy. Jeremy. Jeremy.
