Backstory- Yavanna was born to a high class eleven family . Her father a high ranking general while her mother was a well known cook among her neighbors.  She grew up very comfortable and happy for the most part , she met a nice elf boy named Calen during her childhood . He was a orphan in their colony but she took a big liking to him , she became close to him and as they grew together she loved him . Sadly it was not meant to be , she had been chosen by the Elvenking , Thranduil , to be his queen since she was a rather well known elf as well as pretty . She was very upset but she would never disobey an order from her king , she became his queen causing Calen to leave the colony , becoming a rouge . She was very hurt but found an odd amount of comfort in the stoic king , she soon was happy in her role as queen . She even was gifted powers by one of the elders since she was deemed worthy , only because of her status. She ended up loving Tranduil and cherishing him with all of her being , soon enough she was pregnant with a child , his child . Legolas was born and she instantly adored her first son , Thranduil too rejoined in their happy little family . Sadly Calen had been watching from the shadows and while the baby was young he attacked . He snuck into the town and into the nursery trying to hurt Legolas but thankfully Yavanna was there . He ended up stabbing her with a magical poison dagger . He was instantly attacked by guards and taken away to the dungeons . Thranduil of course got his wife healed but it was sadly found out that she had been poisoned with that dagger , the only positive was that the poison would not kill her until she reached 6,500 years old. The only cure was a bath in a special crystal , The White Gems of Lasgalen . She wasn't in bad condition but they searched for the gems for years and years , eventually thinking they found them but they were merely replicas . When Legolas was older and able to fight alongside his father was when it was found out that the gems previously had been faked panic struck the colony . Of course they had years left to find the gems but Thranduil was not taking any chances with his wife , he set out and they found the gems but they had to go to war to get them .
