(After the OP, Aqours review the current situation and the map of their area. Love Live will be held at a hall at the mountains this time. It will be very far away from their school so now their problem is how to get to both places at the same time...)

Kotori: Looks like they have a serious task at hand.
Hanayo: Now that I think about it, we are luckier than they are cuz here in the city, getting to places ain't a problem. But there, the train is your only fast means of transport...
Honoka: Okay! I am confident they'll find a way to sort this all out.
Rin: Like what?
Honoka: A lot of ways! For example, they can just split their group up, one for Love Live, the other for the open house. Also, they have Mari's chopper so their transportation will be fine!
Umi: I agree. But it would seem this issue is a bit harder than we may think...

(While Mari believes they won't make it...Yoshiko goes chuuni again and proposes "to transport them with her wings" - ehem - to fly basically. And when Ruby and Hanamaru makes fun of her proposal, Yoshiko does another special move on both of them.)

(And half of them actually love the idea: Chika imagines herself as the pilot much to You's skepticism. The first years have long smiles on their faces thinking about it. Even Dia herself says "We will be like superstars!".)

Nico: Ummm....
Maki: Hey, I like the idea, but I don't think it will happen. Flying a chopper is not actually very simple request...

(However, it won't actually work. Mari tells them there's no way her dad will allow her to use the chopper for that - as if flying a chopper to another place is so simple and all. Plus, she said to him they can do this by themselves so why ask for help? And while saying all this, Mari is stepping on their map - Kanan reminds her that.)

Maki: Called it.
Nico: Maki-chan definitely said what I was about to say.
Honoka: Ehhhh!!? No fair!
Rin: Oh man, I wanted to see a helicopter ride....

(Time to get serious, none of those ideas will work. Dia steps up to suggest to Aqours one way they could get to both places: IF Aqours are the first performers at Love Live, a bus will be available to pick them up immediately after it. That bus will be their only chance cuz the next one will arrive hours later - too late to get into the open house in time. It is their only chance IF THEY ARE THE FIRST PERFORMERS.)

Hanayo: I see...but this is very risky...
Rin: Kayochin, how do they determine who goes first?
Hanayo: You forgot? Rin-chan, it is all decided by a lottery. We went through that multiple times remember?
Eri: I have doubts about this.
Nozomi: I don't feel any luck with this one either.
Kotori: Yeah.
Umi: I have no hopes this might work, almost like a needle in a haystack. But then again...Honoka managed to pull something like this...
Nico: Heh. Dia is so smart but...that will never work. It relies too much on luck. I don't think Aqours deserve to win if they just keep relying on luck now, don't they.
Maki: I agree. I mean, they said if they are the first performers right? It would have been more probable if they can still catch a bus as the second, third, fourth, but just first? It is almost like expecting to win a contest without any doubt.
Honoka: EVERYONE PLEASE BE MORE POSITIVE!! Does it matter?! They have a chance! Perhaps 1% but they still have a chance!
Kotori: But Honoka....it is still a bit of a stretch....errr....

(And the only way to find out? BY A LOTTERY! Aqours attends a Love Live lottery which will determine what order will Aqours perform. It is all about luck. Everyone is anxious which one of them should be the one to draw the lot.)

Kotori: Here it is. I hope they somehow make it.
Nico: They will fail.
Nozomi: I have a feeling they might not be lucky this time. Especially Chika...
Hanayo: This is a tough challenge.

(Chika can't do it. Riko tells her that people with the Leo zodiac sign such as her are unlucky today.)

Nozomi: My my, great job checking out those signs. I was about to say how spiritually unlucky Chika is....

Eri: They have to choose someone else instead. I am betting either Mari, Kanan or Dia should draw.

(Mari refuses to draw either. She believes it has to be done by the "original" members - meaning everyone except her, Kanan and Dia. You is also asked to draw for them, but she herself is very hesitant to try it out.)

Nozomi: I believe the third years won't be lucky cuz they are shadows of a previous failure. I think Hanamaru or Ruby would be the lucky ones.

(The lottery is starting and they are running out of time to pick. Yoshiko volunteers to draw their number...)

(Everybody initially refuses her as well...she is really unlucky...examples include failing in rock-paper-scissors games and, according to Ruby, she tripped and fell on the sea the other day. Once again, Yoshiko is annoyed by the degree of tease Hanamaru and Ruby are giving her.)

Hanayo: Not even the first years take her seriously...
Umi: JUST CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!
Nozomi: As of now, I cannot yet decipher if Yoshiko has any luck. Nor do I wanna judge so soon that she won't pull this off.

(At a diner, everyone is depressed over the result. Being the 24th performers mean they will perform at the very middle of the event - their schedule has become worse now. Yoshiko apologises for what she did.)

Nico: There's no way they can get this fixed. I believe their only option is to choose...
Honoka: Meh! Come on, guys! There is still another way!

(Now, everyone is forced with one option: choose. Love Live? Or the open house? Already Aqours gets divided by some who prefer the latter and some who prefer the former.)

Nico: And this I believe is the entire purpose of this episode...it is obvious when you look at how every idea they have does not work.

Hanayo: Honoka has a point! It is legal in the competition!

(Everyone has not yet made a decision cuz both Love Live and the school are important to them. Particularly Chika who, later when they returned home, sat on the rooftop frustrated she can't think of a good idea to solve all this.)

Honoka: Come on, guys! Think again! You can split your group! Come on! You can solve this.
Kotori: I agree with Honoka!
Nico: I think they should too, but I believe maybe they won't do it cuz they see Aqours as a whole and they can't seperate. I won't criticise them if that is how they think though. Either way, I believe this episode should already be a sign that Aqours must really make serious decisions and prepare for serious consequences -
Honoka: Nico, just shut up. You are talking too much with little sense.
Nico: Hmph! Fine, at least I want them to split up their group. The quality might suffer, but it is their only shot! IF they think about that idea...

(Chika and Riko once again converse at the balcony, talking about their current situation. Then again they reach out their hands for one another...)

(Everyone else is don't seem to like it. It will work but splitting up might lower the quality of their performances. Some even question if they can even be called Aqours doing that.)

(Later on, the second years rethink the idea. Riko reminds them they can't perform miracles, that they failed at the last prelims, and they failed to stop the school merging. Rather, they should try the hardest with what they have.)

(The day where both the open house and Love Live happens arrives. While the rest of the students rally everyone to come to the open house, Chika's sisters discuss how Aqours have decided to split up their group, one for Uranohoshi, the other for Love Live.)

Nico: How they deal with this crisis will affect how I view them and their potential. Right now, since it looks like they have split up, they managed to solve the problem, but they will face a disadvantage being incomplete.

Honoka: Well, better than choosing one! I believe what they'll perform at Love Live will be enough!

Umi: It all depends on their chosen song. If I like it, I feel they have a great chance of success.

Umi: I agree. Just to see who they are and how far they have gone makes us reflect on our acheivements as Muse! I respect them now more than ever compared to back then! (I still hate Yoshiko.)

Maki: You two just stop bickering and appreciate the episode. I for one am both stunned and dazzled.

Eri: All I know is that this episode is fantastic, Mari's phone has to be thrown away, AND I WILL BUY MY MAI TONIGHT THE MOMENT IT COMES OUT!! Plus, I might learn their dance steps soon after I go home!!

Kotori: Costumes are wonderful, and how they pulled off this crisis on their own is splendid!

Umi: I am overall impressed! I love the song to the bottom of my soul! I do have qualms about the pacing and why they don't seem to find solutions properly at times. Minor problems hopefully.
