Anna's POV

I woke up with a jump today. I looked over at my alarm and slammed my hand on it and it shut up. I sat up and groaned. "Anna time to get up! I have breakfast on the table for you!" I heard. I sighed and stood. "Thanks Mom!" I called back down.

I walked around my room grabbing clothes and whatever else I needed for a shower. I was in and out. Now that I was woken up I was a little faster with getting ready for school. I walked down to the kitchen and saw the plate of food and my mouth watered.

I sat down and thanked my mom once again. I ate and smiled as I put the plate in the sink and grabbed my bag. "You're unusually happy today." My mom said. I looked at her and sighed. "Well...I got a new teacher yesterday. I wanna see what today has instore." I siad with a shrug. She smirked. "Is he hot?" she asked.

I rolled my eyes and hit her arm. "Mom don't say that!" I said. She chuckled and kissed my forehead. "Go before you miss the bus dear." she said. I looked at the clock and almost yelled. I ran out of the door and down to the bus stop. I got there just before the bus pulled up. I got on and sighed as I flopped in my seat.

-At the School-

I got off the bus and had my classes before Band as usual. I walked down the hall and sighed. Being a senior is amazing. You get a whole new view on the school and being the oldest grade in the high school it gives you that rank on people. But I will never turn into DTK from Soul Eater. Pulling rank is a dick move.

I chuckled at my own thoughts and went to class. Mr.Fischbach was there this time and I smiled. He gave us high fives as we walked through the door. "Good Morning David," he said. He looked at me. "Good Morning Anna. How are you this fine October morning?" he asked. I shrugged and smiled as I high fived him. "Same old same old. What about you?" I asked.

He smiled and looked at me. "Same." he said. We shared a laugh as he was able to be like a teen like we were and get along with the memes and jokes that we had. We got our instruments and sat down. We did a quick warm up with the B flat concert scale and tuned. We began to work on the music we had for the comming up concert.

He had a smile on his face. Which of course was a contagious smile. Soon the entire band had a smile on their faces. I glanced at the clock and realized that it was almost time to leave. I rose my hand and he smiled and called on me. "Yes Anna?" he asked, (AN Litterally almost put my name lol) "May we call you by your first name?" I asked.

He smirked and began to stroke his stuble of a beard. "Yeah why not? I get to call you by your first names. It's only fair. Oh and you are dismissed." he said and we stood. "What is your first name?" I asked. "Oh you need that to call me by my name duh. It's Mark." he said. I smiled and nodded. "Alright...Mark.." I said. He smiled "You got it. You learn so quickly." he said and I chuckled. "Hey do you want any company at lunch?" I asked.

He looked at me. "Aren't you full of questions today? and yes you can." he said and I nodded. I quickly put my stuff away said a quick goodbye and ran to my next class.
