All the boys belong to "Visionary Musicians", the most liked worldwide music band of the time. Neil is the singer, Vidyut the drummer, Ali and Kk are the guitarist and Dd the pianist.

V: Ha Neo, they r right or vaise bhi we have 3 weeks and we are already good in music.

Neil relaxed a bit and gave a smile to all of them. He didn't know what to do so asking them to rehearse, he went somewhere.

K: Mujhe pta h ye kha gya hoga.

A: Ofc, apne sukoon k paas😏.

V(tensed): I hope everything gets on track soon vrna sachhi problem ho jayegi.

D: Sb thik ho jayega aur yrr gaana bhi to isne aisa choose kiya h, hm kr bhi kya skte h?

V: I know Dd but he wants this special song to be sung in our first international concert. Hm use mana kaise kare? First time he has kept a request.

He took a deep sigh while other boys looked at each other understanding the seriousness of the situation.

A boy came near a river bank and sitting comfortably on the soft grass, threw stones in the water and he is none other than Neil.

N: Ye jgh hamesha mujhe sukoon deti h, hr problem ka solution deti h aur aaj isine itni badi problem create krdi. Kyu bnvaya mujhse vo song jb use m ga hi nhi skta.

He threw a stone harshly in water making it splash on him, he took a deep breath and remembered what happened some days ago.

Flashback...

A week before, Neil and band finally got the opportunity to sing in front of the whole world. They always did concerts and their concerts were liked by everyone but they wanted their music to reach hearts beyond geographical boundaries and the day had come. They were so happy. The concert would take place in Mumbai itself but would be shown to the whole world. After they were told that they just have a month, the biggest task was selection of song. First they thought of singing something with rock and pop music as always but Neil wanted it to be different from other bands.

So to find a solution to the problem he went to his fav place, the river side near their big rehearsal hall. He intentionally took that place for making the rehearsal hall as it was near to the river bank and was away from chaos of loud world outside.

Sitting near the bank under shining stars was so soothing. He was just noticing the beautiful nature around himself.

N: Kitna khoobsurat h sb yha😌. I hope hme jldi se ek perfect song mil jaye. Ye raatein, ye mausam, nadi ka kinara, ye chanchal hawa, so beautiful everything is.

He closed his eyes feeling the peace when suddenly he opened them with a jolt. Taking out a pen and register from his bag he wrote what he just said and tried humming it. He was surprised that it sounded so good. Closing his eyes he kept humming the wordings when suddenly he saw himself dancing in white and black suit with some girl in a beautiful white gown, the girl's face wasn't visible as he saw her from back side but her long and wavy black hairs running down till her waist were a sight to behold.

He tried and carefully heard them(himself and girl) singing the same wordings but in perfect rythm and tune. Her voice was so soulful. They kept on swaying their bodies on the beats of music, singing it as if they have known the song from ages. It was the same river bank under the moonlight making her milky white skin glow. He was just able to see her perfect hands fitting in his while dancing. After sometime, the song ended, Neil(the one dancing) and the girl looked deep in each others eyes and lost themselves.

Suddenly a splash of water broke his imagination. He looked around to see a family nearby and one of the child splashed water on him. He smiled at them and thought again of the beautiful daydream when something striked him.

N: Omgggggggggggg😲, did I just see my dream girl?

His cheeks heated up on thinking about the unknown girl he just saw.

N: Vo m tha, she was dancing with me. (Blushing) We were so perfect together. Ek minute, me and talking about these stuff? No, no, Neil focus on music.

He closed his eyes trying to remember the lyrics he heard but the same vision was playing in his mind.

N: Urghhh, kya Kru? But maine Aisa kuch dekha hi kyu? Khi aisa to nhi ki m jld hi apni dreamgirl se milungaa( smiling sheepishly)? Ho skta h, wait kyu nhi ho skta? Ladkiya mrti h mujhpe😏, afterall I'm the "Neil Khanna". Pr iss gaane me hi mujhe hm dance krte kyu Nazar aaye? Is this song some indication?

He ruffled his hair on his thoughts, writing the newly made song and packing everything in his bag, he stood up and looked at the river.

N: Aaj tum mere liye aur khaas ho gyi. Na sirf tumne mujhe song suggest kraya but usse bhi milvaya. Sapno me hi shi. Pr mere sapno ki rani jld hi milegi mujhe (blushing). Damn! I couldn't see her but I can bet she was so beautiful like an angel(dreamily). This song made me meet u my dreamgirl. Ab to m yhi gaunga and self made makes it more unique.

Thinking all this, he went home.

Flashback ends...

N(taking a deep breath): I thought ki ye bahut interesting hoga but instead ye itna confusing ho gya. 1 hafta ho gya jb hmne iss gaane ki preparation shuru ki thi, Abhi tk it isn't coming out the way it should have.

He squeezed his eyes and felt a hand on his shoulder, turning his head towards right, he saw his childhood bestie Vidyut sitting beside him. Making himself comfortable, Vidyut said looking towards the river.

V: Kyuki tune jo imagine kiya tha usme ldki bhi thi.

He turned his head towards Neil who was giving him confused expressions.

V: Neo maine bahut socha and I came to the conclusion ki gaana perfect isliye nhi hora kyuki gaane me ldki ki awaaz missing h.

N: U mean ki we need a lady singer?

V: Yup. Jo lyrics teri imagination me teri dreamgirl ne gaye the, uske liye hme ladki ki awaaz chahiye.

A: Dreamgirl? Ldki ki awaaz?

K: Kiski dreamgirl bro?

Neil and Vidyut turned to see three of their frnds coming. They looked at each other in fear as other 3 were unaware of Neil's imagination and the connection of song. Settling themselves they looked at the two boys questioningly.

N: Vo...vo...dreamgirl...movie, ha....movie Dreamgirl, bahut achhi movie h. M aur Vd vhi discuss krre the ki movie me Ayushman ne kitni achhi ldki ki awaaz nikali thi, haina Vd?

V(nervously): Ha? Ya...ya...vhi movie, aawaz, ldki, dreamgirl, vhi.

The three boys looked at each other then shrugging all this away, they looked at the river.

A: Neo m kya soch rha tha ki agr hamare grp me ek lady singer ho to achha rhega. Girl's voice will complete our songs, kyu haina?

K: It's cool bro, I think I agree.

D: Me too. Bs Vd aur Neo maan jaye.

Neil and Vidyut shared a look and smiled thinking there work got easier.

N: I think this is a perfect idea.

V: I support. Hme sirf ek lady singer chahiye iss gaane k liye.

The 3 looked surprised as convincing Neil and Vidyut for adding someone in their grp was the most difficult task.

A: Tum log itne jldi maan gye? Aaj suraj kisi aur direction se nikla h kya?

K: I was thinking the same bro. Neo, Vd, tumhari tabiyat to thik h na?

Saying this Neil got up while everyone followed.

V: Neo tu shi kh rha h but lady singer milegi kaise?

While all others were thinking, Ali received a video call. Picking the call up he started talking with a girl on the other side.

A: Hello!

Girl(over excited tone): Hiiiiiii! Omg, omg, omg, it's the Ali Khan. Sir I'm ur biggest fan😍. I've heard all the songs of ur group. Aapke saath face time krna is like a dream come true.

A: Haha, I know right. And ya all thanks to technology. Btw what's your name?

G: I'm Sona sir.

A: Hi Sona, nice to talk...

He couldn't speak further as Neil snatched his phn and hung up the call. Neil gave him a look so he didn't open his mouth.

N: Are u for real Ali? Hm yha itna serious discussion kr rhe h, aur tu h ki..

A: To m kya kru? Tum log soch rhe ho na, tb tk maine socha m apna naya app try krlu. U know isse tu kisi bhi random insaan k saath video call kr skta h so I thought to connect with my fans Neo.

Ali made faces but he had no choice. 10 minutes passed.

D: Idea💡!

Everyone got startled as Dd shouted suddenly but at the same time they were curious to know his idea. Every one was looking at him with questioning eyes.

D: Aise kya dekh rhe ho?

N: Idea bol jldi, time khoti mt kr.

D: How rude is that🙄. Chlo chodo. So guys idea h technology.

Dd was standing with sparkling eyes but none of them understood.

D: Arey! Achha I'll explain. See it's through technology that we connect to our fans, chahe vo live video me ho ya social media pe, usi trh hm technology ka istemaal kr skte h. Hm sb apne social media handles pe post kr denge vacancy in grp, jo bhi ldki dekhegi vo khushi khushi aayegi, afterall we r the "VM". Phir hm unka audition lenge and best ko choose kr lenge, what say?

There was pin drop silence but before Dd can decipher anything, all the boys pounced on him hugging him tightly.

N: Dd tu grt h yrr, tu tha kha abhi tk?

D: Thanks but leave me, mujhe saans nhi aari.

Every one detached from him while he took deep breaths.

D: Abe saalo first international concert se pehle maroge kya?

(Don't mind😅, I don't use such language but dosto me to chlta h aur khaskar boys me to it's common 😁🤪)

N: Sorry, sorry but we got over excited.

K: Ya. And wow Dd u've got Einstein's brain but then why weren't u bright in studies?

Every one rolled their eyes and took out their phones but suddenly Ali shouted.

Neil shut his eyes in frustration.

N: Aliii! Why did u stop us? Bebe khti h achha kaam krne se pehle tokna nhi chahiye.

A: Sorry bro but c'mon behave like the "VM" members. Hmare grp me vacancy h, it isn't a small thing right, so batane k liye ek perfect invitation card hona chahiye.

Every one gave him 'are u serious🤨' look.

N: Hmare paas yha time nhi h aur tu card bnvane ki baat kr rha h. U've gone nuts Ali. Kaun bnayega itne jldi cards?

A: Arey yrr vaisa card nhi, E-card. Aur jha tk baat rhi ki kaun krega to mujhe thodi bahut editing aati h. Atleast it will be better than a normal post.

They found a point in his talks so giving him sometime, they scrolled their Insta and replied to messages and comments. After about half an hour, Ali called them and showed them his editing skills. Every one was quite surprised as he made it quite attractive and cool.

N: Kya baat h Ali, mujhe nhi pta tha tujhe guitar bajane, ladkiyo k piche bhagne aur khana khane k alawa bhi kuch aata h. Impressive!

A: Abey Saale! Taarif kr rha h ya bezatti? Aur ye editing m seekh rha hu meri ek fan se. I liked her edits on us so asked her to teach me and she happily agreed. Kya naam tha uska (trying to remember)? Shubh...Shubha.....ha Shubhangi. She makes amazing edits.

N: Cool! Aur ye perfect h, now share this, quick.

Ali shared the E-card with everyone and they posted it in their Insta, Fb and Twitter accounts.

K: Guys abhi 1:30 ho rhe h aur kl ki audition timing 12:00 bje ki h to we have a lot of time to tb tk kya kare?

D: Actually. Kyuki rehearsals krne ka to mtlb h nhi, ye bhaisahab beech me rok denge. To kya kare?

V: Vha chlte h😉.

V: Are vhi jo hmari first aur Neo ki second fav place h. Aur vaise bhi it's long time that we visited there.

Every one understood what Vidyut wanted to say, smilingly they went towards their Jeep and drove off.

Every one turned to see Neil and grp standing at the gate smiling. They smiled and ran towards them.

Everyone nodded and entered inside. They took extra chairs and sat near the dining table while Maria got lunch for them.

Unme se ek bahut zyada beautiful thi. Mtlb aur bhi thi but she looked like an angel. Mowgli k saath unki achhi bonding ho gyi and Mowgli ne kha ki vo unhe Jaan bulayega because she is so beautiful and he likes her. She agreed to hm sb unhe Jaan di bulate h. Uske baad se vo roz aati h, aaj bhi aayengi shayad shaam ko.

Every one smiled as they understood but Neil looked lost. He didn't know why but this "Jaan" affected him badly. Anything about her gave him an unusual foreign feeling but it was somewhat similar to the one he got thinking about his imagination and dreamgirl.

Vidyut shook him out of his thoughts and raised his eyebrows asking 'what happened?' Neil shook his head saying 'nothing'. Every one had their lunch and spent a good amount of time with the children.

Mo: Ye dekho maine Jaan k saath pic bhi li thi.

Boys: Hmm she is indeed beautiful.

V: Pr maine ise khi dekha h.

Mo: I know. And rehne do Vidyut bhaiya, aapko misunderstanding hui hogi, ye to kuch time pehle hi bahar se padhke aayi h.

Vidyut tried to remember but failed. Mowgli dusted the pic and kept safely in his room. Neil wasn't there as he got concert manager's call. At about 6:30, the boys left bidding everyone bye. Ali, Dd, Kk left to their homes while Neil and Vidyut went to Khanna Mansion.

Vidyut and Neil had been neighbours and childhood besties. Ragini, Vidyut's mother, being a single mother she is, was always busy with business. At that time, Shweta, Neil's mother took his responsibility, so Neil and Vidyut were brought up by Shweta and are more like brothers, and hence never hid anything from each other. While Neil is a bit short tempered, Vidyut is of calm and patient nature. Vidyut and Neil had their single beds in Neil's room and hence its more like their room. Often Vidyut stayed there, more than his own house. They call each other's mother's as maa. Ragini was again out of town, so Vidyut went with Neil.

Having dinner, both besties went in their room and got engrossed in their mobiles.

V: Neo!

N: Hmm.

V: Tu ye Jaan ko janta h kya?

Hearing the name, Neil turned immediately towards Vidyut as since he has visited Sukoon House, this girl wasn't leaving his mind.

N(curiously): Mtlb? (Narrowing his eyes) Aur to use Jaan kyu bol rha h?

V: Haha, aur kya bolu bro? I don't know her name na?

N: Ohh ya. Vaise mujhe kaise pta hoga?

V: I mean use dekh k mujhe lga maine use khi dekha h.

N: Hmm. (Understanding his words) Wait what? U saw her? When, where, how?

V: Chill yrr, Mowgli ne dikhayi thi na pic. Ohh tujhe manager ka call aaya tha, tune nhi dekha. Hm chaaro ne dekha tha.

Neil held Vidyut's neck under his elbow.

N: Saale mujhe baad me nhi bata skta tha.

V: Ahh! It's hurting manh.

Neil left him while Vidyut had a playful smile.

V: Tujhe bada interest h iss Jaan me😉. Aise to tu ladkiyo aur unki baato se dur bhagta h so I didn't feel like telling. Ab ye mt bolna ki iss Jaan me teri jaan atak gyi h.

Neil looked everywhere but Vidyut, he himself didn't know why he was behaving like that.

N: Mujhe neend aa rhi h, good night!

V(smirking): Arey itni jaldi? Abhi to hme bhabhi k baare me baat krni h. Neilll! So gya kya?

N: Just shut up!

Vidyut held his stomach laughing while Neil was blushing under the comforter as he covered himself fully.

V: Thik h, thik h, good night! But I won't let this end so soon.

Switching off the lights, both boys dozed off😴.

She withdrew her hands and ran while Neil looked in front and his eyes widened in fear because........
