Backstorryyy:

-These two have been friends for forever. They both bonded over the same sports and cartoons and did everything together.

-Rich might've actually had a huge crush on him and (as much as he wouldn't admit it) Jake did too.

-Then around seventh grade Jake started to get really popular.

-It got to the point where suddenly Rich didn't know where the hell all his friends went and he was sitting alone at lunch all the time.

-Jake didn't understand where all the attention was coming from but he grew to really like it. He liked that other people 'cared' for him.

-Freshman year was the breaking pony for Rich, since up to that point he was some short freak loser who still watched anime religiously.

-So he got a SQUIP!!

-And suddenly was popular. And the biggest dick in school but moving on-

-Jake and him became friends again and Rich was pining, HARD.

-His SQUIP's plan was really fucked up (something about eliminating the competition?) and didn't work at all.

-So it's Halloween right and Jake is surprisingly not drunk. Just a lil but tipsy but not drunk.

-Long story short he ends up straddling Rich to the couch and they have an intense make out session for like three minutes.

-Jake is unzipping his pants when suddenly he hears Jenna Roland screaming that his parent's bedroom is locked.

-Jake chugs down three more beers, promises Rich he'll be back for phase two and runs off.

-Well Rich gets thirsty and leaves to get a drink. But when he comes back he sees Jake carrying a girl (also wearing a Jason costume) up to his room.

-So this bi boy is devastated and his SQUIP can do nothing to convince him to turn back.

-Rich set a fire and he burned down the house WWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAH!!

-So while everyone is in a frenzy trying to get out of the house Jake is desperately trying to find Rich.

-Rich has locked himself in the guest room and refuses to come out and passed out because of all the flames and smoke.

-Jake is able to get his limp body out of the house by jumping out of a flaming window, breaking both his legs.

-When Rich wakes up at the hospital he's in a full body cast and tells the world he's totally bi now.

-So Jake comes over and is so happy to see his best friend/long time crush is alive and kisses him.

-They make up and start dating immediately.

Random headcannons:

-Their first date was to this bakery and they bought like two dozen cupcakes and spent the afternoon at the park just walking around, talking and being adorable.

-Many kisses were shared.

-First couple of the SQUAD to be openly sexually active.

-Jake tops and Rich is the most power bottom.

-Rich is in the marching band because he loves going to every single one of Jake's games.

-If he's not in marching band he's waving huge glittery signs that say Jake's jersey number and name.

-Jake's sweater is like four times too big for Rich but Rich steals it anyways.

-They went as Sandy and Danny from Grease for Halloween.

-One of them always says 'no homo' when they kiss or cuddle.

-Girls still can't seem to get the memo that they're dating so they constantly hit on them.

-Cheerleaders usually hit on Jake when he's on the bench. Jake talks to them for a little before going back in. When he goes back in Rich starts cheering like crazy and Jake just shouts 'I love you babe!' Leaving all the girls shookth.

-Rich refuses to go anywhere near a stove but he loves decorating Jake's cakes. They often end up a huge mess but Jake loves them.

-Once for their anniversary Rich made Jake a batch of burnt cupcakes and Jake had never been so proud.

-They watch early 2000's movie's without volume and pretend to narrate what's going on.

-Both of them love to sing and they'll have mini rock concerts for Jake's pets.

-Almost always come to school with hickeys.

-Jake constantly kisses Rich's burnt scars and reminds about how beautiful he is.

-They're pretty bad at solving arguments since when one gets mad the other gets mad and they end up screaming to each other. Once they calm down though they apologize.

In the future:

-As soon as Rich is out for college he and Jake immediately buy a lil studio apartment together.

-Jake is the one that pops the question this time, like nearing the end of college.

-He takes Rich to the same bakery they went to on their first date and they spend a romantic evening in the park.

-Jake then profeses his love, kneels to the ground, pulls out a ring and asks.

-Rich had never cried that much in one night.

-They spent the rest of the night having quality time together.

-They get married nine months later.

-Their wedding is literally just the SQUIP SQUAD, Rich's brothers and Mom.

-But it was the best day of their lives.

-Rich works as a child psychologist and Jake is an art teacher and part-time baker.

-Around a year into their marriage they decide to start a family.

-They adopt the most kids in the entire SQUAD.

-The oldest is named Angelica, followed by Elizabeth (Eliza), Evan, and Margarita (Peggy!)

-When their kids grow up Rich and Jake decide to open their own small bakery in the park.
