Please read this until the end...

Recently my tita (aunt for you non Filipino speakers) gave birth to her second son on November 12, who was diagnosed with pneumonia. He has successfully recovered, but now my tita is in the hospital again.

She was rushed to the hospital after she felt pain in her lower torso area and has been diagnosed with kiddy stones. During the first operation everything went smoothly, but then a few days after operation she felt pain again and the doctors saw that her liver was swimming in blood and immediately did another operation.

Last Sunday she was again operated. This is the 4th time she as been operated. The doctor said that it was a miracle that she survived after everything because in the hospital she is in said this is only the 4th or 5th time that they had dealed with a case like this and she is the only survivor. I forgot what it's called but right now she's very weak.

To make matters worse is that they weren't expecting anything like this so they are having a problem with the finances due to the fact that they had just spend their money on the payment for the birth of their new son and for his pneumonia medications.

Right now my family is doing their best to help comfort the family and the finances. My tita is also sad considering she has only held her new baby boy once and is now in the middle of life and death as we speak.

I come from a religious family, a Catholic family to be specific, and the only thing we can do right now is to hope and pray to God that she gets better.

I'm sorry this is very depressing but I'm reaching out to all of your hearts to please pray for her. Please pray, even just a short and simple prayer will do. Anything is better than nothing at this point.

Thank you for all of you who bothered to read until the end... I'm again very sorry for such a depressing news but I hoped that maybe, just maybe one or two of you guys would give a simple prayer for my tita.
