Candilanderz is a universe of candy people created by Lost Wight on YouTube.

This is my Candilanderz OC, Yumiko Shugakura. She's based off of the Konpeito candy, which is a Japanese candy made of mostly sugar but comes in different flavours.

Yumiko is a Konpeito Yōkai, which isn't an already established species of the Candilanderz universe, I came up with it.

Konpeito Yōkai have glistening horns of different shapes and sizes, as Yōkai are japanese spirits or demons. They have two colours in their skin (as Yumiko has turquoise and a lighter turquoise colour skin), stars in their eyes, and two colours in their hair (like one side being a different colour from the other side, striped or gradient). They have japanese customs and live in the Confectia area.

And now onto Yumiko, she's a shrine maiden of her family Shugakura Shrine, and likes to tie ribbons to her horns. I like the idea that she was a ninja serving as someone's bodyguard, but moved on from the path of the ninja and took on the role of a shrine maiden for the Shugakura Shrine, and became very dedicated to her new job. Ninjas had vows to "Feel no pain, show no emotion" or "Gain as much money as possible", and those vows are why Yumiko has a very monotonous and straightforward personality, but she's lionhearted as well.

I saw that characters have these abilities, which I'm not sure about Yumiko's at the moment, but she has knuckles are studded with hard candy, as well as her knees, elbows, and shoulders. Maybe she'd be able to give a good sucker punch...?

But when I looked up reference pictures for shrine maiden attire, I came across a picture of Hakurei Reimu from Touhou, and worried about my OC being too similar to Reimu.

But I'm still working on this character and the species, this picture is merely a sketch after all and might have some minor changes when I finalize her design.
