TW: Blood and Gore.

Context on what happened to Poor P:
After the Emperor's defeat in SS, and the events of the OG Arcane Rift universe, Rivet and Powder we're just spending their afternoon together until Riv was jumped by an unknown lombax. But when Powder pushed the lombax off of her though, she froze in shock when the attacker was revealed to be Jinx, the evil and unhinged version of her if she was found and raised by Silco instead of Rivet. Jinx also seemed to be in shock as she runs away, leaving both sisters confused and paranoid.

After the encounter with Jinx, they eventually met two more people from a different dimension: The spunky yet sane version of her fallen sister, Vi, and the battle scarred and short tempered version of Rivet.

I'm gonna call her "Riley" just to make it less confusing.

Anyways, unlike Rivet, Riley... hates Powder and refuses to trust her because she believes that even though she was raised by somebody who was willing to help her with her mental problems, Powder can still become Jinx. It's kinda like how the Illuminati in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness believes that every Dr. Strange would be evil like their Strange.

This theory leads to some beef between her and Rivet and causes them to argue a lot and get into catfights if Ratchet and Vi weren't watching them.

Speaking of Vi, because she still wants to make it up to Powder for what happened in the past, she decides to try and build a bond with her "lost little sister". Despite her not being very trustful over Vi because of what happened with her Vi in her dimension, Powder decides to let her spend time with her because she also wants to make it up to her "lost big sister." After some gadget show offs and some sissy bonding time, Vi and Powder grew close, being the siblings they once was.

Despite ALSO having some distrust over Vi and being a little bit jealous over how much Powder with spending time with Vi, Rivet leaves them be, knowing that this makes Powder happy, and that's all she wanted.

Also just to let you know, Rivet's distrust over Vi is not as cold as Riley's distrust over Powder. She's just very avoidant and iffy around her, but she's more willing to work and get along with Vi than what Riley is with poor Pow Pow.

And I know what you're thinking: what was Rivet's reaction to Vi and Riley being a couple?

Rivet: ..................... *collapses, fainting*

Let's just say she was shocked...😅

Anyways after the shock was toned down and some context about Jinx was told, Powder, being the sweet little bean she is, feels sorry for Jinx and thought if she talked tried to her, face to face, counterpart to counterpart, she can make her snap out of the insane state she's in and help her like how Rivet had helped HER when she first found her.

She finally did so after Riley called her an idiot and the name "Jinx" for telling her her plan, angering Rivet and causing her to punch Riley in the face, nearly causing a catfight between them yet making the perfect distraction for Powder to sneak out to search for Jinx. She also took the gauntlets her Vi inherited to her before she died a second time, just in case she needs to fight Jinx to snap her out of the hysteria.

After searching for an hour, Powder finally found Jinx...

Or should I say, Jinx found her.

Thinking she was here to kill her, Jinx attacks Powder, her death weapons in hand. But Powder wasn't here to fight.

She tries to tell her crazy counterpart that she's here to talk, but Jinx wasn't having it and continued to attack her. It was until they were close to a river when things cooled off a bit, but tensions were still high. Jinx had "Pow-Pow" out, and was ready to use it on Powder.

But Powder wasn't giving up, not just yet.

She begins to empathize with Jinx, telling her that she was just like her when she was young: she was a just little girl who wanted to help her family, but accidentally caused an explosion that killed 3/4 of them. She also tells her that she had the voices in her head as well, telling her that she was a jinx, a loser, and that she didn't deserve to live and that she can kill herself. But if it weren't for Rivet and her family, she wouldn't be who she is today. They had helped her with her struggles, and now she wants to help Jinx with her's.

She takes off her gauntlets and slowly walks towards Jinx with her hands up innocently. Despite Jinx threatening her to get back, she got closer and closer, and when she was close enough, Powder hugs her, just like how Vi hugged her when her when they reunited after 6 years.

After some seconds of being in her arms, Jinx... breaks, dropping her gun and hugging back, breaking down and apologizing over and over as her counterpart rubs her back and hums her the lullaby that Rivet used to comfort her.

*BANG*

But of course it didn't take long for stuff to go haywire as a bullet hits Jinx in the shoulder, causing her to scream in pain and hiss at the direction of the shooter. It turns out that the scuffle didn't last very long and the others found out that she was gone, so they went out to look for her and they found her hugging Jinx. Ratchet, Rivet and Vi were confused and worried but they didn't want to intervene because the "counterpart talk" looked to be working. But Riley in the other hand, due to her hatred of Jinx, quickly pulled out her gun and shot at her rival.

After that, Jinx went batshit and, thinking that Powder had tricked her, took out "Fishbones" and shot it at her counterpart, completely demolishing her right arm and since her flying off the cliff into the river.

In horror, Rivet cries out to her sister while being held back by Ratchet who was also in horror. Same goes for Vi. But Riley, not knowing why, just smirked a bit. It was not her fault that Powder left to comfort and support a psychopath when she's destined to become one as well.

So Riley attacks Jinx as the others ran to save Powder.

Ik. Riley is a huge bitch. But I find it fun to have two of the same character, yet their personalities and experiences are so different. And since there are two Rivets in this AU, why not make one of them so unlikeable that they're pretty much like Alister, an Anti- hero.
