Today I wish to talk about a topic I have issues with.

That being: Y/N

For those who don't know

Y/N - means "your name" refering to the viewers/readers/watchers, you know that stuff, basically Y/N is you.

While I find the concept of Y/N of videos and stories being fun and nice. There are issues regarding to it. So let's list 'em all down

1.) Shipping

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with shipping, it's just the Y/N shipping can make the viewer uncomfortable.

There's a lot of Y/N shipping, while it's fine that Y/N can be shipped with the person You like, since Y/N is you and that character is your fictional crush (don't know much about the concept of fictional crushes), it's just some people feel uncomfortable.

Like some people are already in a relationship, some people don't like that, if they are aromantic, or if they are not straight.

But the one thing I don't like is how some creators will tend to sexualize it. Like dude! Hell to the f**king NO!

What if Y/N is a kid? What if Y/N is a minor and they're being shipped with an adult? This is what annoys me about it! God these sick ass people! If your gonna sexualize, don't! And keep it to your dirty self!

2.) Triggering Stuff

As in triggering, I mean like abuse, r*pe, suicide, sensitive stuff that's hurting. Like people! Why the heck you decided to add that?! This is just disgusting!

You know that there are people out there in the world who had suffere from abuse?! Who the hell would put their name there just to suffer from all that?!

And what's worse, sometimes they don't put a trigger earning about it. At least warn them about it geez.

3.) Gender

I think you can see the pattern here if you watch most Y/N videos.

I don't know why but Y/N is potrayed as female in the community and its very used.

Like bruh, Y/N means "your name", which is us. We are Y/N & Y/N is us.

We're not only females, we could be male, or gay, or lesbian, or bi, or trans, or non-binary

Why would you make Y/N female most of the time? There are other genders you know?

Like are you saying that boys don't exist just because Y/N is mostly potrayed as a girl?! Huh? Is that what your trying to say?

Although, there are some who at least made it clear which Y/N gender is it. So respects for them.

But it's better if Y/N have no gender, cause like I said. Y/N is us, and we are Y/N.

Okay. Thos are all my issues about Y/N. So I'm now gonna show you, my Y/N

I want to make Y/N something that makes sense and better than the ones potrayed. Y/N represent us. So I want to make a proper and better version of Y/N.

So here is my Y/N

As you can see,this is way better than the ones potrayed. Now let's talk about the choice I made for Y/N.

For my Y/N, I want their design to be sometjing for all genders.

For the gender, Y/N is us, so I decided to make Y/N to have no gender or bigender/all genders.

It's better to pronounce Y/N as They/Them/Their. Its better that way

Females mostly have long hair, but males can also have long hair. So I choice to do long hsir with a ponytail. Since ponytails are for male and female.

The hair accessiories I added there for a nice touch, I mean, males can have head accessoriea too you know? Not just women

I didnt give Y/N a face, cause Y/N is us, so it's basically anyone's face.

I made the clothing something that fits both gender, like the jacker, shorts, that collar, sneakers, you know?

Oh and as for my Y/N age. I decided there age is unknown for now. It's just for example, if Y/N were to be paired with an adult, make them an adult. If Y/N is a teen, make them a teen.
So I just thought to make there age unknown.
I'm just unsure about the age thing for them that's all
