Emma's POV:

I slam my last book shut with a small scream. Benny looks at me. "No luck?" He asks. "None, now come on." I say, grabbing him by the arm and pulling him downstairs. We find them all in the kitchen, Debby making several cupcakes. "This is a cupcake party." Benny says, happily.

"Sorry guys, nothing. Sadly I left all my object animation books at home while I brought all my elemental books. I looked through Benny's spell book, but the problem is, I'd have to know the exact words she used. Without that I can't be much assistance." I say.

"Unless you want me to set her on fire." I say, holding up my fire spell book. "Oh, good news, I'm on level 4 our Knights on Ninjutsu 4." Benny says. "You were up there for an hour." Sarah says. "It's a hard game." Benny complains. I smack him with my spell book.

"Hey!" He says and I shut him up with a look. We all look at Debby who is eating a cupcake. "Mmm, lemon swirl." She says, holding the cupcake out to Sarah. "No, please stop, no more cupcakes." She says. "Ooo, I'll take a lemon swirl." Benny says, picking up a cupcake.

"Oh no, look at your clothes. I know just what we should play next. Debby Dazzle Fashion Show." Debby says. I roll my eyes at this. "Ok." Jane says. They giggle and head upstairs. Then Debby leans over, as if in pain. "Are you ok?" Ethan asks, then Debby grabs his arm and he stiffens.

When she releases him he looks really weak. "I'm fine, great in fact. Let's go have some fashion fun." She says, creepily, then walks upstairs. I look at Ethan in concern. He tries to turn around, but stumbles and grabs onto the countertop. We all go closer to him on instinct.

"What happened?" Benny asks. "I had a vision. Debby needs life energy to stay in human form. She absorbs it through contact." He explains. "So if we keep her away from people then she'll just go back to doll form, right?" I ask. "Hypothetically." He says.

Then when he starts to walk he almost falls. Benny catches him. "Whoah, easy there buddy. She must have drained you a little." He says. I nod. Then the door bell rings and we all go answer it. "Yeah, nows when the fun starts." A familiar voice says.

"Rory now's not the best time." Ethan says. "Rory?" I ask, stepping into his view. "Emmi? Hey how have you been?" He asks me. i go outside and hug him. "Great." I say.

"Emma, come on." Sarah says. "I have to go, see you later Rory." I say and re-enter the house, closing the door behind me. I run upstairs with the others right behind me. When we get to the top Jane and Debby are ripping Jane's clothes.

"Is this what girls usually do with their dolls?" Benny asks. "Hey Debby, I found some really cute accessories over here, come and see. I need a second opinion." I say. "Ooo, I love accessorizing." She says, following me into Ethan's room. "Right in here, have fun." I say.

"But I don't see-" Then I close the door and Ethan locks it. "Nice job guys." I say. "What about the window?" Benny asks. "We're on the second floor, it's not like she can fly." He says. I nod in agreement and we all go downstairs to clean up while Sarah puts Jane to bed.

"Why are y'all scrubbing, I know a simple cleaning spell that will fix this up in a snap." I say. "Really? Go for it." Ethan says. I concentrate. "Nettoyer rapidement." I say. Automatically the the kitchen cleans it's self. Then Sarah comes in.

"Jane's out like a light, now let's hope we can convince her this was all a dream." She says and I nod. "We're home." A female voice say from the entry hall. My eyes widen. "My parents, can you two go stall them, I mean, introduce Emma to them." Ethan says.

"Ok." We say and go to where his parents are. "Hi Mr. and Mrs. Morgan. I want you to meet my sister Emmaline. I'm sorry if I couldn't have someone over, but she got in tonight and we wanted to catch up. Also, she helped me watch after everyone." Sarah says.

"That's fine Sarah." Mrs. Morgan says. "Hi Mrs. Morgan. I think i met you once before about 5 years ago. I just got back in town and thought it would be a great idea to catch up with Ethan and Benny." I say. "Oh yeah, little Emma Fox, I remember you." Mr. Morgan says. I smile and nod.

They start to head towards the kitchen when Sarah stops them. "I promised Jane that you both would go up and give her and kiss as soon as you got home." She says. "Oh, ok." Mrs. Morgan says. Then Mr. Morgan gets out his wallet and pays Sarah.

"Thanks." Then he hands me 10 bucks. "What's this for?" I ask. "For helping Sarah." He says. "Have a good night." Mrs. Morgan says. "Goodnight." We both say and leave. "That was a very interesting first night in town." I say.

"Yeah, well. You know Whitechapel, full of surprises." She says. "Yeah. Come on, I'll teleport home." I say. "You can teleport?" She asks. "Yeah, come on." I say, grabbing her arm. I imagine our house and say the words. "Aller." With that we are swiftly placed in front of our house.

"Nice." I smile and we walk in. "Did you girls have fun tonight?" Mom asks. "Yeah." I say and we both run upstairs. "Goodnight Sarah." I say. "Night Emmi." She says and we separate into our rooms. I quickly change into some night clothes and look around my room.

Deciding it's too kids for me I decide to decorate it more my style. I close my eyes and invision my perfect room. "Décorer." I say. With a contempt sigh I crawl into bed and quickly fall asleep.
