"Yes ...raj...this time I won't fail...we will go to Delhi as friends and will come back as husband and wife.."she thought to herself...

A few more days passed by,
As said before, on Sunday itself , aham went to America for some urgent work in his business ....
darshan and niharika decided to go to Delhi with Dheeraj....
And tomorrow they are leaving for delhi... Dheeraj was all excited like a kid that he was going out after a long time..but niharika , on the other side was also excited, for her plans...

" Sonu...kaise jayenge hum.. flight tickets book kiya kya..rithi bhabhi bhi aa rahe ho kya?" ( Sonu how will we go? Did darsh booked the flight tickets..? Will rithi bhabhi also accompany us ) Dheeraj asked out of full excitement like a small kid and niharika just smiled...

" Now take your medicines and sleep..we have to wake up early.." she stated smiling and went out of the room....
He sat down on the bed with a slight smile, looking at her....

Next day ,
Niharika looked out through the glass window of the cab , sitting on the back seat along with Dheeraj...

" Delhi is beautiful right?" Niharika asked breaking the long time silence in the car....

They reached early morning itself at Delhi Airport and now they are heading towards Ashish's house which was situated near Karol Bagh....

" Yes ...it's beautiful apart from this pollution.." darshan said looking out wrinkling his nose .... Dheeraj giggled at his comment....

Niharika had already informed radhika, Ashish's mother about their arrival and also about dheeraj...she was so sad at first hearing that ..then she promised niharika that she'll help to revive Dheeraj's memory...

Soon they reached infront of a two storied building ..... Dheeraj lowered the glass window and looked at it....some memories flashed through his mind...he closed his eyes ....some undeciphered sounds churned his head ....

He slowly got down from the car amd walked with darshan and niharika towards the house....
They were welcomed by Radhika and Ankit...
Dheeraj looked around the whole hall where they are sitting and unknowingly his eyes turned moist...he wondered why his eyes got water...

Just then , radhika came infront of him with a glass of water .....

" Take it beta " she smiled at him...he took water and smiled back at her...

" Maa.. I'm extremely very sorry that I came at the time Where Ashish wasn't here.." suddenly Dheeraj said which made Ankit choke ...
Radhika eyed at Ankit.....she thought for a while and replied.....

" It's ok beta...by the way,after a long time aham came back to India" radhika said
Dheeraj's face lit up in joy....

" Really ...it's been years since I met him...how is he? Fine? " He asked back

" He is absolutely fine.... He remembers us of Ashish Always...." She said unknowingly her eyes turned moist....but she quickly wiped it...

" Ok ...nikku ...go and get fresh up....I'll show you the room...you all must be tired.." radhika said to which darshan immediately got up...

" Yes aunty... tiresome journey..."darshan said

Ankit accompanied darshan and Dheeraj to show their rooms whereas niharika remained at the hall...once they left, niharika hugged radhika tightly.....

" Thankyou maa...thanks for everything....but please be keep it as a secret..." Niharika broke down

" No need to say thank you beta..you know Dheeraj is also dear to me just like Ashish and aham ..he is also my son....first I got shattered hearing the news ...first I lost my Ashish and then my Dheeraj...I always prayed for you both ...but look...today my daughter is crying infront of me which I never wanted...don't worry beta... before leaving delhi...he will remember everything.... Don't worry" niharika tightened her hug and cried ...radhika soothed her hairs and condoled her...

That day , they recollected Dheeraj's and Ashish's childhood memories in anticipation of him remember the rest...
But he recollected everything till Ashish and niharika's sangeet...

After having breakfast, radhika saw Dheeraj standing at the balcony immensed in his own thoughts...she went near him and called him...

" Beta..what are you thinking?" She asked

" Maa...you here... Nothing..I was just...I don't know ma..but I'm getting some worst memories...I don't know..my head is paining badly.." he said rubbing his forehead....
He always shared his thoughts with radhika too as he considered her like Maheswari ,his mother..

" Are you fine beta... I'll tell niharika...she will bring your medicines.." she said and about to go...he stopped

" No ma...it's ok ..I'm fine...but let me ask you..why niharika is not staying here...?" He asked

" Because she have to stay at her husband's house ,with him" she replied back

" But ..she ..she is your daughter in law .. right?" He again asked but he suddenly remembered her words....

" I wasn't married to him...I wasn't.."

He hit his head again and asked
" Ma..I mean.." he was about to say further, radhika stopped him...

" I know...I know what you are going to ask..but before that ..come with me.." she said and took him to a room which was closed ..
She slowly opened it and he immediately recognised the room...
Ashish's room...

" Ma..why you brought me here..ma..?" He asked again perplexed but this time , radhika made him stand infront of a wall filled with pictures...

Pictures of their childhood, their college days everything....
His eyes unknowingly welled up with tears ...he smiled....

" Raj beta...you were right... Ashish was engaged to niharika..but is not married to him..." She said and dheeraj looked at her with a shocking expression...

" Why are you all saying like this ....if Ashish wasn't married to her..then with whom she got married?" He asked

"with you " radhika immediately whispered which made Dheeraj sit on floor with his hands on head and tears in his eyes...

" With me..???how..??" He muttered...

" How...maa.. how..you are lieing right? I wasn't married to her...no..no.." he said placing both his hands on his head .... clutching his hairs....

" Yes beta... please be calm and try to remember....she got married to you...look..." She took out a photo frame from the pictures ....
She showed it to him ...he ,with trembling hands,took it and looked at it....
His eyes widened in shock and tears started rolling down from his cheeks...
His head ached badly...some blurred memories of him filling her partition with sindhoor, their engagement, they taking sacred vows passed through his head ...he shut his eyes tightly as tears fell down from his eyes.... Radhika got tensed seeing his condition...

Niharika who was watching all these hiding at the door saw him in pain and ran towards him...
" Raj...raj are you ok? Maa...can you bring some water please.." she said to which Radhika immediately ran towards the kitchen...

" Raj..it's alright..it's alright... nothing had happened..relax " she said soothing words to him...he wrapped his arms around her tightly and hugged her still closing his eyes tightly.....

" No..no..no...no.." he muttered under his breathe....

Niharika caressed his hairs and continuously kissed him..she cursed herself for being so selfish and made him suffer the pain... she should have been a bit patient....

Radhika came with water and niharika immediately made Dheeraj look straight and made him drink water...
He slowly slowly drank the water and looked tiredly at Niharika ...
She smiled sadly at him ....

" Sonu..." He called out ,his voice was so low which indicated that he is exhausted....

Darshan came inside and with niharika's support..he took him to their room and made him lay on bed...
Soon he drifted into sleep....

niharika came out the room while radhika and Ankit waited outside...

" Nikku... is he alright.. should I call doctor?" Ankit asked

" No.uncle...he is fine...he is sleeping now..."

" It was all my fault...I shouldn't have tell him in such a hurry" radhika's voice trembled...

" No aunty...its not your fault..you did what I just said..it's all my fault..I should have been a little patient.... anyway he is fine now.." niharika said looking at Dheeraj's sleeping figure....

At midnight,
A thin layer of sweat covered Dheeraj's whole body....he shut his eyes tightly as he saw a badly injured Ashish lying on the hospital bed....
Some specific words of him kept ringing in his ears....

"what you now get focused should be Nikku...you have to be with her...and I..I..want.. you....you...to marry..her.."

Dheeraj rolled his head to sideways .. shutting his eyes tightly....

" Raj.... please... forgive me... I'm.. sorry..."

Dheeraj Started sweating profusely...he clutched tightly on his duvet and started to move his lips saying some incoherent words.....

Raj...you sacrificed your love for me... now it's time ...for me to ...give you back..your..love..... happy.....life ahead..."

Again Ashish's voice made him ache his head badly.....his eyes shred unstoppable tears and sweat dripped from each and every part of his body... he saw Ashish closing his eyes infront of him with a smile.....

" Ashish!!!!!" Dheeraj yelled and shot up from the bed ....he tried his maximum to catch his breathe....
Niharika immediately got up from the couch and switched on the bed switch.....

She sat beside him....she rubbed his back and gave him water.... Dheeraj slowly drank it and panted....it took some more minutes for him to come back to normal....

" Where is Ashish...what happened to him?" Dheeraj immediately asked niharika and she was taken aback....

She looked at him with a shocking expression....

" What?" She asked

" I know.. something had happened to him... where is he... where is he...?" He asked ...
Niharika now understood that his brain is trying to recollect everything..she sighed in relief...she took courage and spoke

" Tomorrow... tomorrow you will see him... I'll take you to him.." she assured....
He just Hugged her tightly and cried....

" I don't know Sonu....I'm feeling vulnerable inside.. I don't know why . What's happening to me... really I'm married to you...if yes , then why don't I remembered anything...why? It's paining Sonu..." He almost cried out loud inside her embrace....
She too cried hugging him.. seeing his broken state.....

" Tomorrow...you will get all your Answers" she said soothing his hairs....

Next day,
niharika got ready standing infront of the mirror....just then Dheeraj came out of bathroom wearing his outfit...
He just froze on his feet seeing her...
He looked at her from top to bottom....
He remembered the night where they shared on the river side.....
The moments they drenched in rain together flashed through his mind....he closed his eyes....

On the other side, niharika noticed him gazing at her...but she stood there as if she didn't saw it. ...

Involuntarily his feets moved towards her.....he stood right behind of her....she slightly smiled at him....he slowly moved his fingers through her hands...she shivered under his touch....today , she could feel another meaning in his touch.....

He brushed his fingers on her hands softly and slowly slowly wrapped his hands around her and inhaled the fragrance of her hairs....
She stood there frozen on his touch and lowering her eyes.....

His eyes got tears ...he let them flow through his handsome face....
His grip got tightened .....he made her turn towards him...
She looked up at him with tears brimming in her eyes.....

She looked directly into his eyes....
His Hazels carried a lot of emotions....pain , guilt, love , Passion everything.....
He softly kissed her forehead....

" I'm sorry ...." He said ...

She looked up at him in surprise.....

" I believe ma...may be she was right.. I got married to you ...but seriously I don't remember anything sonu..sorry...." He said and unstoppable tears made their way down through her cheeks....

" If I'm married to you.... then let me do my duties.." by saying this, he filled her partition with vermillion...she closed her eyes....traces of sindhoor fell on her nose ....

He was about to wipe it..she suddenly stopped...
" Don't...ma always say that while filling partition with vermillion,if traces of sindhoor fell on nose ,it is considered as the immense love of husband towards his wife....and I don't want my husband take away his immense love for me away from me..." She said ....

He slowly leaned bit and her breathe hitched...
He slowly blew his hot air on to her nose trying to remove the traces of vermillion from her nose...she closed her eyes feeling his proximity.....

Her lips shivered ...he caressed her lips with his thumb....her heart throbbed inside her chest . He breathe got fastened....

" Kiss me.." she heard him whispering into her ears.....

She opened her eyes and without thinking twice , she tip toed and wrapped her palms on his back head crossed her fingers ....
She closed her eyes as she joined her lips with his.....it was slow and serene.... gentle and passionate.... He too without hesitation claimed her lips with same love and passion...
He himself was confused why he isn't feeling hesitancy or embarrassment...

After sometime, she parted away as she looked at him ....
He cupped her face.....

" Now I believe..you are my wife....I love you" he finally uttered and looked into her eyes..

She hugged him tightly.. tightly as if their is no tomorrow...tears made their way down through her cheeks.....
Suddenly they moved apart as they heard darshan calling them...

They sat on the car..darshan at front seat and they both at back .... through out the journey, they looked on either sides ...but Dheeraj's one hand was placed on hers....
She silently cried looking outside through the window...
She was happy...happy that he finally believed that she is his wife...but at the same time, her heart ached that it happened just because he was forced to believe.....

After sometime, they reached a lonely place....the place was all barren and there were not even a greenery there....
Dheeraj wondered why they brought him here....

Dheeraj silently observed the place...he felt like he had already visited this place....his head again started to churn up....
He tightly held niharika's hand who was walking beside him....

Slowly slowly, they reached near a tomb...
Dheeraj stood there still unable to decipher what is happening...his head turned upside down...his head ached badly....

" Look raj..you asked me na .. where is Ashish..then look...he is resting here...our best friend is resting here and you know what ...he had gone leaving all of us behind...just 2 days before our marriage" niharika said gaining courage....

Dheeraj released his grip on her hands and took steps backwards...she looked at darshan in tension...he blinked his eyes in assurance...

His eyes welled up with tears...

" No..no...no.." he yelled and turned back....

' it's true raj.. please try to remember...the day you took him to hospital..." She again said making him turn and look at her ...

" No...I don't remember anything..like that. ..no..." He again yelled....

" Remember raj....you are the one he finally met.... remember please...he had gone.. almost before 1 year...he left us.. please remember...try to remember ." She almost pleaded with her eyes filled with tears....

He just placed his hands on his ears. His head again churned up ...he felt the whole world is turning upside down.....he clutched his hairs like a mad ....

Niharika got horrified seeing his condition...but now she can't back off....

" Please try to remember..he left us..." She again said...

" But Ashish was there ...at our house..." He again asked and this time darshan replied...

" Raj try to understand...it's not Ashish..it's aham...his twin.."

" No..." He again yelled with horrified expression

His mind again showed some blurred memories of yesterday night....the same scenes he dreamt about.....

He closed his eyes as those pictures came more and more clear into his mind...he clutched his hairs tightly again and again... unstoppable tears came from his eyes like streams....
Those pictures of Ashish lying on hospital bed...his last wish...his last words came clearly into Dheeraj's mind.....

" Aah..." Dheeraj screamed out holding his head....
Niharika got hell panicked seeing him...she literally ran towards him and hugged him tightly...

He again screamed out loud as everything..each and every moments in his life came into his mind like a film.....
He groaned in pain .....
Niharika tried her best to soothe his pain but all went in vain....
She helplessly looked at darshan who was also holding Dheeraj tightly....

He screamed in pain and behaved like a mad person....Now he looks exactly like a mess...and anyone will fear at once seeing him and his condition...he dug his nails into her hands which ended up in wounding her....
But she didn't mind to even look at it...
Soon Dheeraj fainted into her arms and niharika now got shocked and scared....

They immediately took him to hospital... For almost 1 hour, the doctors did various check ups and tests.... As they already told them that he is suffering from SML...
niharika stood infront of the op ward with shivering body ...

A doctor of middle aged came outside from the op ward and looked at them..
" Patient is awake now..one can go and see him..."

" Thankyou doctor" darshan said and went with doctor to settle bills and all..

Niharika slowly went into the room Where Dheeraj was resting...she saw him lying there with his eyes closed....
She sat beside him and gently placed her hands on him...
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at her....he saw her crying holding his hand...

" Sonu..." he gently called her and she looked up ..

He tried to get up but she stopped him and helped him to sit up leaning on to pillow...

" Sonu....I'm sorry...I ended up in hurting you...sorry ...I love you...." He said and she looked up at him perplexed...

" Don't be confused ...I'm perfectly fine now... And don't you dare to cry before me...I don't like my wife crying before me..." He said and she looked straightly into his eyes...

" What are you looking for and still now I'm in hospital bed... where's ma ,darshan ....? It's nothing Sonu...just an accident and trust me ..I was very careful...don't know how it happened..it think that lorry was on wrong side.." he said placing his hands on head and a long sigh escaped from Niharika's mouth. ...

Yes he remembered... finally he regained his memory..his memories came back to present.....

" You...you... remember.. what happened...??" Niharika stammered unable to believe that his memory is back...

" Ha...I dropped bhavi back to your house and came back to surprise you as we completed the 6 th month of our marriage...I wanted to make that special and look I ended up in hurting you..." He said and niharika sighed in relief....
She immediately hugged him and he too hugged her caressing her hairs...

" I love you.." she said to which he smiled and replied..

" I love you too.."
