Scarlett's POV
"Ha what a loser"I hear a familiar voice behind me as I close my locker. I turn around and roll my eyes"leave me alone Andy"I say leaning against the lockers. He chuckles"no way babe"he says. I roll my eyes again"don't call me that" I say as I start to walk off. He shoves the stuff out of my hands and it all falls on the floor. He shoves both his hands on the locker trapping me"no one says no to me"he says in a threatening voice. I look at him and bend down picking up my stuff and nodding before leaving. I wanted to stand up to him but I didn't have time for his crap. I walk to my class and sit next to my brother and Andy sits next to me. I groan under my breath. He won't leave me alone!
~after class~
The bell rings and I grab my things"hey bro you wanna walk home today?"I ask."su-"he starts"uh me and Ashley are going to my house sorry"Andy says smirking"yeah sorry Scarlett"Ashley tells me. I sigh and walk away without saying anything. He always ditches me for stupid Andy."Scar wait"Ashley says. I turn around"what?" I ask annoyed"I love you" my brother says. I roll my eyes"whatever" I say. I wish he spent more time with me. I turn back around and walk home by myself.
Ashley is like my only friend. And my parents don't really talk to me. I walk inside and drop my bag on the floor.
"When are you coming home?"I text Ashley. He reads it but doesn't respond."ugh! Why does he ignore me?!"I yell at myself.
~next day~
I wake up and get ready for school. I notice it's quite and walk to Ashley's room and he's not there. Probably slept over at Andy's. I walk to school and go to my home room. Andy and Ashley aren't here. What the hell? Did they skip or something. I sigh as the school day goes by slowly. I walk home by myself again and go inside."hey scar"my mom calls me."yeah mom?"I ask walking to the kitchen and grabbing a water bottle. I start to take a drink."Ashley said he moved out" I spit the water out and start coughing."he what?!"I yelled."Scar calm down"she says. I nod and put my water down before stomping up the stairs. He can't do this to me. He didn't even tell me. Why did he do this to me? So many thoughts went through my head. I try to keep my tears from flowing but it doesn't work. I cry into my pillow. I eventually fall asleep. Why would he leave without even telling me.
~flashback/dream~
"Ashley?" I ask looking around. He jumps out and scares me. I scream as he grabs me and tickles me."Ashley stop I can't breath!"I yell still laughing.
We used to be so close what happened?
