florence made it through to year ten (his sophomore year) before he started to regularly cut classes, after that his education went down hill as he spiralled out of caring to go on with college or anything seeing as he had no way of being able to go himself due to a lack of financial funding and the fact he would be quite likely to end up homeless after school.

florence is a very street smart individual, he knows his way around and is able to traverse life easily. because of his lack of formal education after he dropped out of school florence wisened up a lot, he knows how to survive by his own means whether he needs to steal, lie or cheat. the male is a rather notorious pessimist, he paints almost everything in a negative light so he's never disappointed with the outcome of a situation because he prepares for it. that being said when with people he likes he doesn't allow his view of the world to affect his attitude, he stays positive when things include those few people he cares for, actually managing to laugh and smile when times are good. florence desires to pick himself and his friends out of poverty, he wants to make the lives of others better which is why he does what he does, he doesn't steal because he enjoys it but because it's for someone who needs it, the male having a notable temper that has caused him to assault those who harm his friends, something that has landed him in cuffs multiple times. florence himself doesn't care for fame or fortune, he doesn't want to go down in history as a figure of good, he would happily be anonymous if it meant he could help out those he considers family, which is an extreme parallel to how he comes across to anyone not in his tight-knit group who see him as a delinquent with no redeeming qualities to speak of.

florence is an adventurous guy, he enjoys doing crazy and out there things whenever he has the opportunity to, mainly things which result in him and his friends getting into loads of trouble. one of the byproducts of his adventurous nature is being athletic, because florence never took part in sports growing up he became fit through working out at the gym which helped him mainly in escaping from the cops when he stole or vandalised something. because of his lifestyle growing up florence had to learn independence at an early age, providing for himself and those he cared for by any means. along with his early development of independence florence grew up quickly, always being noted to be quite mature for his age as he took on the role of looking after younger disenfranchised kids in foster care seeing as he was in the same place for a large portion of his upbringing. for those closest to the young male they would describe him as very protective, while he can often be cold to strangers and especially authority figures he often does so in defence of people he feels responsible for and was the big reason for a lot of his tangled with the police. being the older brother figure to those in his household he learned how to be calm and rational, taking care of situations that other kids his senior even had problems dealing with because of his own difficult experiences in his childhood. while very kind to those who hold a spot in his heart he isn't soft with them, he's a firm guy who makes sure to keep children on the right path and out of trouble despite the types of trouble he himself has been in due to his own choices because while he does 'bad' things he doesn't want that for others. because of florence's confidence born out of his independent and mature qualities, he does things extremely risky with the full belief he'll pull through because he has that self-belief and also due to the fact he doesn't do stuff for himself but for those who depend upon him. while often incredible tightly wound due to all the responsibility he gives himself, the foster child is quite leisurely, he enjoys kicking back and certainly encourages his younger 'siblings' to do the same, enjoying mucking around with the kids by doing water fights, wrestling or even something silly like building pillow forts to entertain them for a night. while reckless and adventurous, florence is very rational when things become serious, he's smart and knows how to navigate situations he finds himself in intelligently.

florence is an extremely determined person, he has goals and he's set on achieving them by almost any means, driven by the fact he wants to help those around him be better and most importantly safer and happier. florence has always been outspoken and intense, what he believes in he states without care for others as he's often found himself having to speak for others around him when they've felt too shy or scared to say what they want, which has made florence someone not often favoured by authority figures and that in turn made florence hate those who stand above him and try to keep him quite. the homeless male is surprisingly very political, despite his lack of formal education he likes to keep himself informed and wants to know what is going on in the country that effects him and those in his care, so he's very well versed on political issues, especially ones where he lives. florence has grown very tough due to his harsh life, he is hard to hurt both physically and mentally because he's hardened himself to those types of things, where he is weak though is when people go after his friends, when he sees them being hurt or hears them insulted it causes him to often lash out and become unstable. the young scion is stubborn in his ways, if he needs to he'll defend anyone he sees as a friend to the death, having on multiple occasions gotten into huge fights defending those people when they've been hurt or disrespected in some way. the delinquent is also very skeptical of anyone he doesn't know, often mistrusting them and refusing to take what they say into consideration as until he is able to make a decision based on what he has seen or what someone he trusts has he won't listen to a thing said to him without that proof. to anyone not close to florence he's often stated to be enigmatic and that's because of his standoffish and untrusting nature, he doesn't let outsiders in and so he's always seen as mysterious and often times cold, the latter being quite true because he is very unfriendly to anyone he doesn't know well enough. on top of his cold attitude he is stern, just like was mentioned earlier he doesn't give an inch when it matters, his sternness often making itself known when people he cares for do something stupid that gets them in trouble or hurt.

florence is notably an angry individual, despite the fact most of the time he will come across as apathetic to anyone he doesn't care for the times where he does get emotional are often not in a positive way, lashing out most often violently at those his anger is directed towards, having landed several people in hospitals because of such fits of rage. florence is disobedient and destructive, he hates being told what to do and because of that he often doesn't do it purely out of spite for being told to do it, even if he originally was going to he wouldn't as he doesn't like feeling as if he's being controlled by others, and often as a byproduct of his disobedience comes destruction, he hits things, vandalises property, smashes up cars, an extremely unhealthy outlet for his annoyance but something he does nonetheless. the delinquent foster child is assertive, while not so much with those he likes it is very true for those he doesn't, his aura of confidence and malice either having them bend to his will or he beats them into submission, the young kid really quite aggressive in his methods of persuasion. while rational and mature it doesn't stop florence and his impulsive nature, while most things he thinks out there are many which he doesn't, doing things on a mere whim because he feels that it's the right thing to do at that moment in time, a trait of his which has gotten him in far more trouble than it's worth. florence is a notably transparent person, he doesn't lie to those around him or to strangers unless he's doing something illegal which he omits himself from, but truthfully he sees no reason for lies because he doesn't care hat others think of him so long as he believes himself to be doing the right thing. florence is very blunt and cold to anyone he doesn't like which is the majority of people, he doesn't soften things for other people's feelings and he doesn't waste his time on letting people down easy on tough subjects if he doesn't care for them, he just says things how they are and allows people to feel however they want. florence is an undisciplined individual, thanks to him despising authority figures he has grown to be most things they despise around those in public which funnily enough is something he rarely did when around the impressionable kids at his old foster home because while he sees it as fine for himself he doesn't wish that in others and pressures them to be better than him so they can succeed in life where he failed.

- florence enjoys skating, it's one of the few things he indulges in and enjoys that allows him to just forget about all his hardships for a little while.

- florence is a lover of card games, he frequently plays poker and blackjack games on the streets seeing as he can't gamble in casinos and he's become quite good at it, using his skills in reading people to his advantage to make what money he can.

- while Florence's first love was the skateboard his second was motorbikes, he saved up enough money through his gambling to buy a cheap old dirt bike which he uses for transport and even helped his other friends afford their own which made escaping from their shitty lives that much easier when they needed a break for just a few hours.

- florence has a rather unhealthy habit of sucking on a lollipop all the time whenever possible, popping it in and out of his mouth which often grabs the attention of others around him and annoys them. the reason he does this is to keep himself from smoking cigarettes. when he runs out of lollipops he returns to cigarettes and so he tries to always keep a supply of them with him.

- florence hopes to make the lives of those he cares for better, he is selfless in that regard and doesn't mind if he doesn't get what he wants for himself if he can get others what they want.

- florence is very self-destructive, he will go to great lengths to help others at the expense of his own well-being and safety.

- florence is fiercely loyal to his companions, so much so that he can be blind to their faults when to others these might be completely obvious.

- florence has serious anger issues which often end up with him in trouble with people such as cops, gangs and in the past his foster carers, all of whom over the years have attempted to discipline him to no avail, and thus his anger has persisted in part due to his resentment of them.

florence's ability take the form of shaping, creating, controlling, interacting and manipulating space, which allows him to have total power over the space around him. a constraint of florence's ability is that it requires him to construct a sort of boundary around himself, and only what resides within the perimeter of that space. florence can trap objects and other targets into this pockets of space and push them around, crush them and so forth. when florence creates a space he is consciously aware of all things happening within, allowing him a vision of 360° and enabling him to detect things that are invisible to normal human senses.
